It takes 15 min to drive to the City Centre & Edinburgh Airport, & a 12 min drive to Murrayfield stadium. Locally there’s 2 pubs, 2 restaurant & a Co-op.

First time Edinburgh and can definitely say that I wouldn't chose anywhere else to stay when returning. The location was really good; lots of nearby superstore, airport was close by and easy to get to town. But the photos didn't do it justice ; it was amazing! Hotel standard. Super clean, comfy, home-away from home. Thank you Carol for your hospitality :)

We spent a few days at Doreen's house and they were great, the room even better than in the photos, the house is very nice and the bathroom has just been renovated. The cats are very cute and Doreen has been wonderful, giving us some great and very useful recommendations, and the treatment with her has made us feel at home. It's a bit far from the center, but there's a bus stop right in front of the house and in less than half an hour you're in the center. I will definitely stay there again when I return to Edinburgh.
