Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Pacific Beach, San Diego

The hosts were very accomodating and communicative as well as the place exceeded our expectations. It is beautiful, well kept, and has everything you’ll need and more. The beach and plenty of restaurants and corner stores were within walking distance. The sleeping arrangements were super comfy and clean. Snacks, water, coffee, toiletries, laundry, and beach supplies for the family were provided and made us feel taken care of. We especially enjoyed sitting by the fire at night. 10/10 recommend! My family and I are looking forward to making it an annual stay.

We absolutely adored our stay! The home was gorgeous and exactly as pictured/described, with beautiful views of San Diego, lots of space for our group size, and a gorgeous patio where we spent lots of our time. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone and everyone!

This is a marvelous place for family (or other) get-togethers. Very thoughtful furnishings and details. There are two large gathering places - one indoors and one in the backyard, so people can break off into smaller groups. Dining, shopping and entertainment (park, beach, etc) are all nearby. Lots of gear for kids (which we really appreciated). Great communication with/from the host. We would love to go back.

Our family had an amazing time. Perfect place to spend family time together. The rooftop outdoor space was a favorite spot for all of us. Convenient location. Quick walk to Bay and good local restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying at this house! It was perfect for our family of four—super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The space was really comfortable and felt like a home away from home. The location was great too—close to everything but still nice and quiet. The little touches throughout the house made a big difference, and the host was awesome—super friendly and easy to communicate with. We had such a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable and no major problems.

Jasmines place is a gem! In a very peaceful area, beautiful view to walk out to every morning. The outside deck was a huge plus, very cozy. She not only gave us good food recommendations but was very flexible with our check out time. Would recommend to anyone!

Tamara’s place was the best decision we made for the trip. Everything we planned was 20+ mins away but well worth to get away from the hustle and bustle after a full day of activities. Very clean, spacious yet cozy and relaxing with the sound of the ocean just steps away from you. Tamara is also very responsive, accommodating and kind. If we can’t book here, we will 100% adjust our plans so we can come back. :)

Such a great spot! Quiet and peaceful, unbeatable location. Windensea is a stone’s throw away La Jolla is super walkable. Cy lives right there on the property and goes above and beyond. He has thought of everything a guest could need and is there ready to help with anything. Thanks for everything Cy!

Loved staying here a second time! Make sure you drop people off/unload in front of the unit to avoid making others wait to park and don’t get a giant car - the garages are a tight fit like everywhere else in mission beach.

We had a wonderful three-night stay at Vivian’s place! The location is amazing—super close to everything we wanted to see, like Balboa Park and Little Italy. The apartment itself is spacious and very comfortable for our family of four. It was well-equipped, clean, and thoughtfully organized. The kitchen had everything we needed, even though we mostly used the space to rest after being out all day exploring. Having access to a discounted parking spot nearby was a big plus since we were driving. Vivian was super responsive and helpful with the little details that made our vacation smooth and memorable. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend her place to other families visiting San Diego!

Loved staying at Lauren’s place. Upon entry, the space leading up to the apts front door was tighter than we expected - it was one unit of a few in a tight backyard. That said, the inside looked exactly as photos, spotlessly clean, the location was great, and it felt private. Lauren was very responsive and friendly, sharing local restaurant recommendation if desired. I would stay here again as it gave us a quiet homebase to relax with easy access to great food as we explored San Diego.

Absolutely loved our stay at this charming A-frame cabin! Spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and felt brand new. The AC was on when we arrived—such a thoughtful touch on a hot day. Communication with the host was excellent, and the welcome guide made everything super easy. The location is peaceful and private, perfect for bird watching by day and stargazing at night. The beds were comfy, the jacuzzi tub was sparkling clean, and the high-tech toilet (seat warmer + bidet!) was a fun surprise. We loved the collection of vintage records and board games—so cozy and nostalgic. Ideal for a romantic getaway but spacious enough for more guests. We’re already dreaming of our return!

This is one of those true gems you’re absolutely stoked to stumble upon. The minute we drove down the country lane and saw the house, my wife and I knew we had found a truly magical getaway. We both agree it’s one of the top three homes/properties we’ve had the pleasure of experiencing! Every square inch of the property is amazing. The house is beautiful. The kitchen is stocked and perfect for those who enjoy cooking. We cooked three of the four nights because we just loved the atmosphere and views so much! Our four year old absolutely loved exploring the trails, pond and backyard. The hot tub was in perfect condition. Rare! The awesome fire-pit on the balcony was perfect for making smores and staying warm while listening to the frogs sing while stargazing. We played games, watched movies and just had a perfect long weekend. The worst part was having to say goodbye! It was so peaceful, it’s going to be hard to beat such a good nights rest. Another week would have been nice!

My husband, son and I needed a place to stay in Ramona while attending a wedding nearby. This was by far the best place I found and I was so hapy it was available. It's a huge ranch with lots of farm animals. We loved it. The house was clean and well appointed; beds were comfortable, and the porch for morning coffee was the best. This is only a 22-minute drive to Julian, and 5-6 miles from the town of Ramona. A++ -- 10 out of 10.

Wendy and Tony are very communicative, proactive and kind. They offered great suggestions of local areas. There are multiple patio areas with amazing plants and seating areas to enjoy the beautiful weather. We had a great stay, thank you!

The location was perfect—peaceful and private, breathtaking mountain view from the pool. We especially how quiet the neighborhood was. Our host Posh was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful, making check-in and communication smooth and stress-free. It’s clear they truly care about their guests’ comfort and experience. This was such a beautiful and fun place to stay ! It’s hard to find something simple with a good price and this place was perfect in both aspects. The views were amazing the area around the cabin was so cute and very much made for 2. Loved that it was like glamorous camping in a bit city. A great get away. Thank you !

I absolutely fell in love with the historical charm of this cabin! It’s such a delightful spot, filled with an amazing atmosphere that makes it a perfect getaway. One minor hiccup during our trip from Arizona back to San Diego was the lack of cell signal, which made checking in a bit challenging. However, that small inconvenience couldn’t dampen our spirits! The vintage bathtub added such a lovely touch to our stay, and I appreciated the old-fashioned heating system that kept us cozy when the night air turned chilly. The porch was a gem as well! Nestled in nature and featuring comfy seating, it was the ideal spot to unwind. While the area doesn’t allow for outdoor lights, having a flashlight handy is a great idea if you’re arriving after sunset. The location is perfect for a leisurely stroll, and we enjoyed the fascinating history shared. Overall, we are truly grateful for the opportunity to experience this. Another bonus is that Julian is just down the street!

This place is exactly what you see. You have all the privacy you need, but you're not too far away from the market. Finding the place, getting inside and the amount of things that you can do at the home, makes it worth the stay. The house was spotless, and everything in the house works. No surprises.
