Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Peebles

As many have said this is a lovely place to stay, it has real charm and character you can almost imagine the people that have called this home over its long history. It’s appropriately decorated and furnished in a style fitting its heritage yet still has all the modern conveniences that we love. Situated at the opening to a beautiful park it was just perfect for our dog, it’s also only a 10 minute stroll into the town for restaurants etc. Sam was the perfect host, very responsive and helpful with recommendations. I would highly recommend this as the perfect place to stay

we had a great couple of nights stay, daughter suffers with anxiety and austim, so it was nice and peaceful. time for me to just relax. weather was great so big bonus as got to sit in garden and chill

Great place and Michael is friendly and helpful. House is clean and very peaceful. Guest should note that the bedroom and bathroom are upstairs so be aware of that if you have difficulty climbing stairs. Overall a lovely spot and very easy to find. Thanks for a great stay.

Lovely cottage, met our needs perfectly for a two night stay. Was nice to be able to have a peaceful walk along the river Nith almost from the doorstep and we particularly enjoyed the garden, what a lovely sunny spot.

Loved it here, gardens were in full bloom and glorious to spend time wandering around. I found the home very comfortable, and we were very well catered for. Breakfast was fab and the facilities provided all we could have needed.

What a beautiful little cottage and when I say Liz has thought of everything I’m not kidding , a real home from home vibe. Liz is clearly in tune with what people need when they are travelling around . Fresh milk and pastries was so so wonderful too after a very long journey. I would highly recommend and I don’t say this lightly or without reason ever x

Beautifully peaceful rural location, with wonderful views all around. We stayed in the Forge which was a home from home - everything you need is available and the host Mary was so lovely, bringing synthetic pillows as I’m allergic to duck down and a lighter tog quilt. Location is great, not far from Alnwick, Morpeth, Alnmouth, Amble and of course Rothbury - equally handy for Seahouses, Bamburgh and inland to Hexham and Bellingham. Local Spar has everything you may need. The butchers recommended in Rothbury has lovely food and Bewicks was a great little restaurant to eat at. If you use the fish and chip shop I’d recommend calling first or be prepared to have a drink at the pub whilst you wait if you like fish. My only constructive feedback would be to put memory foam toppers on the beds, as the twins made into Kingsize have a definite dip in the centre and all mattresses were a bit on the hard side for us, though that is personal preference of course. Delightful stay all in.

We had a lovely stay at Eyemouth holiday park in the caravan. The location is fantastic, short walk to Eyemouth beach and loads to do in the area. Kerr responded quickly to any of our questions and was really helpful. I’d definitely come back.

Honeymug provided the perfect backdrop for our group of six meeting up to reminisce about college days forty odd years ago! The cottage was comfortable and cosy and the welcome basket of goodies was indeed most welcome! Very comfortable beds to sleep off the long, coastal walks and swims in the indoor pool. We ate in The Bosk on our last evening and enjoyed it very much, having sampled the Friday evening pizzas too! Everyone was a fan of the outdoor jacuzzi, which we booked each evening and whirled away an hour chatting to the various local members we shared it with! Everyone was so friendly and we learned a lot about the area. Highlights were our boat trip to Inner Farne, an afternoon with the Chillingham cattle, and a day spent on the beautiful and peaceful Lindisfarne. We left feeling there was so much else to discover and we'll hope to be back to do just that! Many thanks John!

This apartment was perfect for our family of 8. Great location with many restaurants in the area. Easy access to bus service for city center. Facilities had everything we needed. Perfect place.

Lauras directions and communications were spot on. Despite the caravan not being new it was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Facilities on site were good. Lots of lovely walks available without takimg the car. Its a great base for exploring the solway coast..

Jacqui was absolutely fantastic, so friendly and so helpful and kind felt at home and so comfortable the place was spotless the hot-tubs were placed perfectly and got your own privacy with beautiful views. 10/10 will be back

We had a wonderful stay at Mary’s cosy holiday caravan! From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like a home away from home. The caravan was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. A special thank you to Mary for being such an attentive and thoughtful host—especially for quickly refilling the gas cylinders when needed. It made such a difference and showed how much she genuinely cares about her guests’ comfort. Mary, you’re the best host we’ve ever had 😀, and we’d absolutely love to visit again. Highly recommended! Absolutely loved our stay, would definitely stay again. We love Peebles and this place was in the perfect location, so peaceful and very comfortable.

Stayed here for our annual friends trip. We are both history nuts so went to Linlithgow Palace, Edinburgh Castle and town, Palace of Holyrood and Roslin Chapel which were all less than an hours drive from the airb&b. Will & Henrietta’s place is beautiful, set on the estate with the old brickwork. It’s a lovely mix of modern with vintage charm inside. The conservatory was my favourite place especially for my morning coffee and was a great retreat once we got back from a busy day out. Everything was clean and tidy with instructions where necessary. Unfortunately, didn’t get to meet our hosts but they were on hand for anything we needed. We arrived very late at night as drove from North London so found it a little difficult to find, however this was mainly down to it being dark. Have suggested for instructions to be provided in case of anyone else coming late at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it felt very homely and was the peaceful escape we both needed.

We were three adults, retirement age, in the Borders for the Melrose Sevens Rugby tournament, and stayed 6 nights. Dairy Cottage was a really excellent choice of accommodation, equipped with everything we could need, and really comfortable. The setting - in the grounds of an estate with a "grand house" - was delightful: green woodland with what seems like miles of paths and loops for limitless choices of walks. The gardens are really well-kept and tended, and the lake is beautiful. No doubt it is a great habitat for all sorts of wildlife, and indeed I have never heard such LOUD and varied birdsong! It's a very short walk (typically 6 minutes for me) into Selkirk town, where we patronised 5 different places for evening meals, all of which were very good. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Bryan's flat was all that we could have hoped for - comfortable, warm and well furnished and equipped. We especially appreciated the comfy bed after a long journey. The flat is also within walking distance of local restaurants. All in all, just what was needed for our two day stopover.
