Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Peoria

Our family loved the country air and great fishing! We had some rain during our visit and got to enjoy the large covered deck until it passed. We hope to return again soon!

This spot was well worth it! We had multiple children and adults in our group and EVERYONE had so much fun with all the games and hot tub time! Never heard “I’m bored” from a single kid. Amenities were great- the ice machine was an underrated HIT with our whole group. Plenty of room to spend time as a family and enjoy each other’s company and competition! 10/10 we’d stay again and again!

Perfect location for events around downtown Bloomington, the country club and various church’s and restaurants. Also very easy walkable access to the Constitution Trail. Heather made the booking and check in seamless and the home was perfect for my wife and I to spread out and relax. Clean with lots of amenities, this home felt like a vacation getaway. And we loved the feel of the older home with some modern updates.

The Captain’s Quarters is a fun place to stay. We went for the outdoor activity but had lots of rain. No worries! The location is great and there was plenty to do inside - games, fireplace, television, and cards. The amenities are fabulous. Multiple grills (Weber, Blackstone), excellent galley kitchen, and appliances. Alex even prepared fishing gear for our stay. The home is full of light and quiet. The spiral staircase is a fun way to navigate floors.

I booked this cute house for my adult kids to stay while back home visiting.. Location is perfect for our family.. we live in the neighborhood.. Everything was clean .. great for little ones with baby gates, Pak n play & high chair all provided.. roomy refrigerator as well.. very nice hosts .. even returned a left behind book ! Thanks so much !

This place has everything I was looking for. Tyler and his family met us at check in and were very friendly. My parents drove in from Arizona with their trailer and Tyler was nice enough to let them park it on the property for the duration of the stay. Even with the trailer, there was still a ton of land for their two large dogs and our little dog to run around and enjoy themselves. The hot tub and fire pit area were great and they even left a huge bundle of wood for us to use.The house was immaculate and decorated nicely. The house has a lot of history that you can read about in one section of the house. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and plenty of dishes, glasses, coffee mugs and silverware. The dishwasher made clean up easy. The dining room had a large table where we enjoyed all our family meals. There is a washer and dryer that we used while there that was very convenient. In all The whole house/land was very clean, private and spacious. Highly recommended.

We were getting ready for our wedding and it was roomy the back porch had beautiful lighting a grill we were able to grill food with family do Bible study in the morning have a cup of coffee and it was peaceful there was not a lot of traffic not a lot of cars screaming by, beautiful tree, beautiful yard kept pristine. I would definitely go back again and recommend to anyone they definitely are super hosts. I love the fact that there was Bibles there there was reading material there there was some card games there they had local coffee all the amenities you needed clear instructions definitely highly recommend.

Staying here was very relaxing with the outside seating and privacy of the yard. Definitely within walking distance of the downtown area on a nice night.

Outside of one of the most comfortable beds, I've slept in this year, this was a great find. It was very well outfitted with everything you could possibly need. I like to cook all of my meals, and Mark made sure everything that I needed was there. And more actually. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

We had a nice and quick stay. It was perfect for our trip through town. The beds were comfy, the host was communicative and the check in/check out was easy. The neighborhood was nice!

The place and property were amazing! Joe was very helpful when we locked ourselves out 😂. Very peaceful and secluded. We will be staying there again next year for sure and hopefully can have the rest of our friends stay at the silo next door. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quite getaway!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Lynda's cabin. It's right on Matanzas Beach, minutes from Havana. The pictures don't do it justice! The cabin felt much larger than expected. Lynda has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully stocked kitchen and BBQ grill. The views are gorgeous, and sitting on the deck or by the firepit during sunset is not to be missed. There are some great restaurants / bars in Havana, including Babe's, Stag Tap, Lulu's, and Riverside Grill. And of course Peaches for ice cream. Lynda was very helpful & checked on us to make sure we got in & had everything we needed. I would love to stay at the cabin again!

Very peaceful. My wife and I enjoy our stay a lot. We will definitely be back. Probably bring our kids next time too.

The cabin was awesome, and the setting was beautiful. Caught four bass within the first five minutes of fishing right off the shore behind the cabin. The basement and Deck space were great aswell.

Our VRBO cancelled on us when we got there so we booked this and were checked in within a half hour. Host was responsive immediately and it was clean! We had a slight problem with some things beeping and he came over that morning to fix and offered us an extra night or late check out. The house was beautiful and peaceful and private. We did have 3 infants and it was a little hard sometimes because there are two staircases, and only one bedroom has doors (one is a loft and one is in the basement) but it wouldn’t have been a problem with adults or older kids. Our stay was great and we would definitely stay again!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful, such a fun place to reconnect with friends and family for the weekend! Kristin was so hospitable and thoughtful. Every need was anticipated, from extra blankets and towels to a basket of treats when we walked in. Above all, Kristin was incredibly responsive and helpful during our stay and was always available for any questions we had. Such a kind and thoughtful host. We will definitely be back!
