Beautiful stay at Monsegur. Very private, peaceful stay with friendly locals. Julien is wonderful- nothing is too much bother and we visited his parents family run restaurant which was opposite the house and our favourite place to eat during our stay. Kids loved the pool and garden. Highly recommend.

Great recommendations for Chateau's, Restaurants and things to do. We had 8 nights and could have easily had 8 more and still not seen a fraction of what the area has to offer. Nathalie and Tim were such extraordinary hosts! My family and I had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home! The house itself is perfect for cooking, relaxing, and spending time together. We were able to enjoy the wonderful gardens and the pool all day and watch the sunset from our patio each evening. Such a stunning and relaxing atmosphere. The best part was how well taken care of we felt all week. Nathalie helped organize a tour of local vineyards, scheduled a wine tasting by the pool, and cooked dinner for us all on 2 evenings. She also had great local restaurant and market recommendations! We also loved our morning chocolatines and croissants! They were extremely kind and accommodating throughout the trip - delivering bottles of wine when we ran short, lending us a pot so that we could cook a big stew one night, and even working a miracle helping me removing a grenadine stain from a white dress I bought at a local market. I can’t recommend this wonderful home enough!

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

Great house, great location absolutely loved it, will be returning again

A gorgeous old stone house with chic updates. We only used 3 bedrooms and they were all comfortable with modern baths. Many places to gather, especially outside. The living room was lovely and welcoming. The farnhouse kitchen was very well supplied. The pool house was to die for and we had cocktails and even dinner there one evening. The views! Gorgeous, with castles and hot air balloons. The hosts live on site and were delightful when we ran across them but very discreet. It definitely felt like “our” property. Nothing negative to say, and we were blessed with fabulous weather! It’s in the heart of the must see towns along the Dordogne, with many restaurants and sights within 5-10 minutes. A very nice little cottage in the middle of Montignac. We rarely had such a nice AirBnB. Florie gave us great information and was easily accessible. This cottage is worth a visit.

Extremely hospitable and welcoming hosts. Made us feel right at home, almost as if we were friends of the family! Very helpful and responsive on messaging, provided excellent recommendations of things to do (recommend the kayaking) and even invited us to the local village fête de musique. A wonderful, relaxing and memorable time which we would certainly recommend.

The best lodging we've had on this month long trip to France. Beautifully and comfortably decorated, private but close to all the things, the best sleep I've had in years, wonderfully appointed kitchen. Heads up that there is a washer but no dryer, but we managed fine with the very large drying rack provided. Would not hesitate to recommend, I wish I had spent more of my time here.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful accommodation. The accommodation was clean, luxurious and met all our expectations. The environment is beautiful, peaceful and natural and is perfect for a family. The pool was fantastic, as was the view of the valley. It was a pleasure to watch the sun set every day from the pool or balcony. Everything you need in the house for a relaxing vacation is there. Jessyca was very friendly and responded quickly to questions. We had a great time and can recommend a stay to everyone.

We had a fantastic time in this spacious and cozy farmhouse. A great location, wonderfully quiet and beautifully situated. Enjoy the birds and butterflies in the large garden. Really an ideal place to relax and unwind. We were warmly welcomed by Anne, a very nice and friendly hostess. You feel more than welcome here. If it is up to us, we would like to come back.

You couldn't wish for a better host than Arnaud! Proactively check if everything is to your liking, or inform if help is needed. Via the app to respect your peace and privacy, but take the time for a conversation if you want. The accommodation is new and cozy with an eye for details. We felt right at home there! The thick walls keep heat out and you can have a good night's sleep in the lovely beds and good sound insulation. The location is conveniently located in relation to the many attractions in the area. Much has already been written about it in the introduction to Arnoud and Elodie, but if you want to swim in peace, relax on the side and lie in the shade under the trees with a catering facility, go to Pont de Vicq in Le Buisson de Cadouin. The town of Monpazier is also definitely worth a visit! Normally, supermarkets are miles away, but in this place, there is one 900 meters away. Arnoud, Elodie, thank you for the wonderful time!!

Fabrice is a wonderful host. Friendly, helpful and very caring. The house was beautiful and the views were delicious across the vineyard . We enjoyed his large fridge - and tried his personal wine that won medals for him as the vintner from Montbazillac - well worth the price! Would love to stay again.

We spent four pleasant days in this beautiful very clean apartment located in a quiet area with parking in front of the accommodation. It is possible to walk to the center of Périgueux, 20 minutes to reach the Cathedral of Saint Front. The accommodation is very well equipped, very pleasant to live in with 2 bedrooms. The bike path "the greenway" is 500 meters away. 500 meters away, in Barnabé, the good restaurant "Alfred" in a beautiful environment on the banks of the Isle. We'll be happy to go back.

We had the most wonderful holiday at Stephane and Bob's beautiful gite. They are very friendly and thoughtful hosts who have a fabulous home and garden. Our daughter loved the pool and felt very at home (as did we). The perfect place to relax but also very close to lots of places to visit. We hope to return! Many thanks 🙏

I can't say enough good things about our stay! The home was charming and clean! Our host was helpful in every way! She even left us some delicious cherries and strawberries to enjoy! It was a wonderful experience!

Such an idyllic stay! The gîte is perfectly located amidst peaceful surroundings, you really feel like you’re in the middle of the French countryside. The garden is enormous, and was a lovely area for our little girl to run around. The pool area is very clean and looks new, located within the grounds , it’s a little walk from the gite but this is great for feeling of privacy. The gite itself is well equipped, clean, spacious and remains cool even when it’s very warm outside. A home away from home. It’s very easy to park outside the front. The local village is very picturesque with restaurants, boulangerie, mini supermarket. It’s a quick drive down, but was too far for us to walk, especially in the heat. Sarah was a fantastic host, was very easy to contact and responsive. Such a wonderful introduction to the Dordogne region for my family and I100% would recommend. Merci beaucoup pour tout, Sarah. Absolutely beautiful property in such a beautiful peaceful location. Although the building was traditional the inside was so modern large and well equipped. Stephane very good to respond to messages. Flexible check in, our flight was delayed but he was there for our late check in. The outside space was gorgeous. Lovely clean pool. Would definitely recommend this property

Hi, Overall we had a nice stay. We did not have the opportunity to meet but very available by message or phone. Clean, pleasant and good location! Easy and free parking right next to the accommodation.

A lovely location with great views and super garden and pool area. We were meet by the host who showed us around the property which was very comfortable and well equipped. A quiet relaxing area but only 15 mins from Bergerac town.
