A superb house in quiet countryside on the edge of a small village. The pool is fantastic and was necessary in the heat to cool down. The house ha everything and more than you need for a comfortable time, very well equipped and everything worked. The hosts were great at communicating and it was nice to meet Mireielle who showed us round the house and how everything worked. The village has a great little restaurant that serves great food at a great price and were very accommodating to us when we arrived very late in their service hours. All round a fantastic house and a great stay. Thanks

Wow! What a wonderful experience. I will never be able to stay anywhere else in France. Philip’s villa is a castle in paradise. With pastoral views in every direction, this villa drinks you in like an old friend. The pool is magnificent, as are all the rooms in this lovely home. Bedrooms were air-conditioned with comfy beds and linens. The kitchen was perfect for lots of cooking, the indoor balcony was ideal for meals with gorgeous views, and the living room was great for relaxing in front of the smart TV. Philip was the perfect host .. extremely communicative and helpful. It was a special treat to meet him personally when he stopped by one day to say hello. We also enjoyed getting to know Philip’s father, who happened to be staying close by. Edgar, the villa’s regular caretaker, is one in a million, and made our stay even better. The town of Objat became a regular stop, especially on Sundays at the open-air market. Magnifique!!!!

accommodation as described. Very nice house, very large living room with views of the valleys. Well decorated house, spacious bedrooms with storage in each bedroom, the 2 bathrooms are also very large and tastefully decorated, the kitchen is very well equipped, both in appliances and dishes, we lacked nothing. we spent a 3-day weekend there, we were 2 families of 4 including 4 teenagers, we were largely comfortable because the spaces are very large. we really enjoyed the full nature, no neighbors nearby, it was very pleasant very peaceful place. thanks for hosting Aline

This is one of the best AirBnBs we have ever stayed in. The views from the terrace are absolutely amazing, and the garden/ pool area is perfect for children of all ages. There are lots of lovely vineyards, markets and villages to visit within a 30 minute drive. Lovely cycling, walking and running right on the door step. The house itself is better than photographed, it is very spacious, clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen for cooking for large groups. Hosts were responsive throughout to any questions.

I can’t say enough about how beautiful this place is. It is bigger and grander than it looks in the photos and the view is stunning! It has lots of gorgeous bedrooms and we enjoyed having big meals in the dining room. The house is located on top of a hill with a view of the Dordogne River and very close to beautiful villages, caves, and nature.

We had such an amazing stay at Cassandra's beautiful chateau!!! Fantastic space with gym and beautiful gardens and so peaceful. Such a magical region. Cassandra and her housekeeper Martina were amazing and very helpful. Our entire stay felt like we were in a fairy tale. :) Would definitely come back!

Beautiful house and pool gite. Everything that you needed inside amd outside the house plus lots of extras, like dishwasher tablets. Beautiful surrounding area and great local town (Lalinde) with good restaurants and cafes. There was a market on Thursday which was good. Great host who was very helpful and responsive to our needs. Would love to come and stay again next year.

We had a great family weekend in this accommodation on the occasion of our cousinade! The property is spacious, perfectly equipped and very clean, with all the comforts to accommodate a large group. The outdoor spaces are perfect for sharing moments together (swimming pool, petanque, children's games). Marie was very responsive, welcoming and available. Thank you again for the little touches on our arrival and the ease of organization. We highly recommend this place for gatherings with family or friends.

This house is absolutely gorgeous! It is superbly equipped and had everything we needed and more. The outdoor space is great: beautifully maintained and very private and the river views are stunning. The pool was perfect for our three teens and they also appreciated the access to Netflix. The location is great as you can walk to nearby shops and restaurants and are an easy drive from multiple local attractions.

Great stay with friends at Angélique's. Young and old enjoyed the pool and spa, but also the darts, ping-pong table and foosball... very well-equipped house, comfortable bedding, clean linen... Thank you to Angélique for her availability.

We were a group of eight that rented the entire home for 10 wonderful days. The location of the home was perfect for exploring the magical village of Sarlat as well as going outside of the walled city to enjoy other parts of the beautiful Dordogne Valley. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the well furnished house and the courtyard was an extra bonus. The magic was being able to walk out the door and view the village and walk through the labyrinth of cobblestone streets to countless restaurants, numerous shops and endless historical beauty. Tyler was very responsive to all of needs and we would all recommend this to anyone that is fortunate enough to visit Sarlat.

We stayed for a weeks rest after couple of weeks touring and it was relaxed and beautiful home. Garden, pool area and outdoor space are fabulous and very peaceful . Gated secure parking for couple of cars easily . We stayed as a couple and one dog but would also have been ideal if we had the family with us as so many kids activities and facilities provided . Five minutes drive from main town which has lots of cafes and restaurants and is also easy to park . Five minutes drive opposite direction lots of supermarkets and bakery. Host always responsive and lots of information provided about things to do. Lovely stay thank you .

Sentiliano was a great host, very protective and responsive. we were delayed on arrival and the host met us late into the evening and had supplied pizzas and beers as we were late. The house is situated in a quiet neighbourhood with nice interior. The garden is beautifully landscaped with so many areas to relax. The pool is so lovely, clean and with the waterfalls is both relaxing and great fun to splash under. We walked into and back to Périgueux that took around 30-40mins. It’s a pleasant walk and the market on Wednesday and Saturday was great with local produce and a nice buzz. Périgueux is a beautiful place and we ate out and got coffee numerous times. There is an Artisan boulangerie and Intermarche 5mins drive which is very useful to pick up food etc.

We had a great time with the family! The house was perfectly in line with the photos, very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well appointed, with everything we needed to prepare our meals. We highly recommend this listing and will not hesitate to return during a future stay. Thanks again.

Alison’s and Andre’s jewel in beautiful Dordogne valley is the absolute winner when booking the perfect peaceful place to holiday in France. You can take a walk in nearby village or walk In nearby Forrest. Stargazing at the private pool, visit Limeuil to kayak the river. Or just take a deep breath in peaceful and relaxing nature while getting some tan after a swim in the pool. Alison and Andre are super friendly always happy to chat or check if you are ok. Super hosts. And not to forget the four legged Johnny the dog and two cats. Johnny will definitely steel your heart. If you are lucky like us, Alison and Andre will let you to take him for a walk. After pool, time with Jonny was our daughter second favourite thing!! There are so many great things to do or place to visit. So Looking back at our holiday photos, we were again lucky and we need to say - A bientot belle France and thank you Alison, Andre and Johnny for beautiful memories.

This fabulous old manoir has been so beautifully renovated! It still very much holds it's original charm, while there is everything available you could need for a family holiday. They seem to have thought of everything! We had a magnificent week looking out onto spring blossoms and green pastures. Our children had the best time in the heated pool and playing ping- pong. Fabienne welcomed us and was very helpful and available locally. Guillaume is a friendly and responsive host who made the whole booking process very efficient. Many thanks for this fantastic holiday. Obviously we would love to come back!

We spent 10 wonderful days at Françoise's house and enjoyed every minute of it. We had the perfect family holiday break in her cosy country house. The calm and peaceful surroundings made it even more magical — it was so quiet that we could spot rabbits and deer in the garden! It was the perfect place to start exploring the beautiful Vallée de la Vézère. Françoise was incredibly helpful and a thoughtful host, which made our stay even more special. We felt completely at home and recharged our batteries in this little haven. We can only recommend staying there. Again, thank you so much for this unforgettable stay! 🫶🏻
