Waterfront holiday rentals in Piana Calzata

It was my second stay at Francesca’s lovely place. This time I was travelling with a group of friends. We all loved the apartment a lot. It is in a perfect location next to the harbour, which makes it walkable to all major sights and fabulous restaurants. Francesca is a great host where conversation was super easy. We will come back to Francesca’s place for sure. Thank you for all your help and that you made us feel like home in Palermo :-)

Dario'nun evi şahane konumda, çok kullanışlı. Ama böyle merkezi bir evde kalıyorsanız gürültüyü göze almalısınız ve tabiki otopark için extra ücreti. Cefalu da kalacaksanız arabaya ihtiyaç da yok aslında. Ama biz başka yerlere de gitmeyi tercih ettiğimiz için araba da kiraladıl. Darion'nun dostluğu ve mütevaziliği çok hoşumuza gitti. Her konuda yardıma yetişti. Umarım ekimde tekrar görüşeceğiz sevgiler

Loved our stay in Palermo and felt right at home! Such a welcoming start to our trip with homemade treats and a bottle of wine. The elevator made it easy to bring up luggage too. Paola was such a friendly and responsive host. Def. recommend to stay here. 10/10!!

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in Vincenzos Wohnung. Die Unterkunft ist mitten in der Altstadt und ist dennoch sehr ruhig in einem Hinterhof gelegen. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und das Meer sind gut zu erreichen. Auf der Terrasse kann man schön entspannen. Sehr familienfreundlich und gut ausgestattet mit Zubehör. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Gerne wieder :)

Erika ist eine schöne und liebevolle Gastgeberin, die uns zwischendurch gefragt hat, ob alles passt und ob wir etwas benötigen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Häuschen wie auch Badezimmer ist gepflegt und sehr sauber. Man hat viel Platz und kann sich draußen im Garten frei bewegen, wie auch gemütlich kochen. In der Unterkunft hat nichts gefehlt und uns wurde viel zur Verfügung gestellt an Lebensmittel die wir nutzen konnten. Ich kann es jedem empfehlen vor allem Familien aber auch Freunden. Der Strand ist fussläufig keine 5 Minuten entfernt und dieser ist sauber und das Wasser ist klar. Wir würden wieder hier her kommen!!

Francesco's Apartment ist eine Perle im hektischen Cefalu - und im übrigen das einzige mit einem direkten Zugang zum Strand der Altstadt! Es ist fast surreal schön, die Wohnung vom belebten Boulevard aus zu betreten und nach ein paar Schritten durch die Zimmer am Meer zu stehen. Die Wohnung selbst ist funktional ausgestattet mit allem, was man so braucht. Abgesehen vom Bad sind alle Zimmer in einer Reihe gelegen. Die Kochnische ist recht klein, aber ausreichend, da sich der Essbereich direkt anschliesst. Bad ist fein, Schlafzimmer recht gross und man kommt von dort direkt auf den atemberaubenden "Balkon". Bauartbedingt gibt es keine Fenster in der Wohnung (abgesehen von Bad, Haus- und Balkontür), was die Wohnung die manchmal ein wenig dunkel erscheinen lässt - aber wer hält sich hier schon freiwillig im Inneren auf? Zusammenfassend kann ich sagen, es war ein unglaublich schöner Urlaub und ein toller Gastgeber. Grazie mille, Francesco!

Wonderful - Ideal for a couple. We were greeted by Ileana’s lovely father, Gaetano who made sure we had everything we needed and left a cold bottle of local white wine in the fridge for us. The place is perfect - close enough to everything, yet quiet and peaceful, away from the crowds. The apartment is a really pleasant space to just hang out in too. The June temperatures were divine, and you can make the most of the cool sea breeze with so many windows looking out across different picture postcard views. At night the ceiling fan worked really well and we both slept extremely well in the comfy bed. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Super emplacement dans un lieu calme mais à proximité des rues du vieux cefalu. Tout est réalisable à pied. La chambre en contre bas permet une nuit paisible malgré la chaleur extérieure. Samuele et sa maman nous ont donné de précieux conseils afin de profiter de cefalu (parking pour la voiture, restaurants). Accueil chaleureux. Nous recommandons vivement!

Viviana and her mum were great hosts and helped us in every way they could. The location is superb, within a few minutes walk from a very quiet beach. The surroundings are beautiful with olive and lemon trees all over the place. We had one of the most relaxing holidays ever!

L'appartamento è spazioso e luminoso, con cucina, salone, camera da letto e delizioso terrazzino. Pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Campofelice e dalla spiaggia. Umberto è stato eccellente e ci ha dato moltissime raccomandazioni utili su ristoranti e d'intorni. L'area è molto tranquilla e silenziosa, nessun rumore durante la notte. A due fermate da Cefalù, posizione strategica ma molto tranquilla. Mare limpido con diversi lidi attrezzati. Raccomandiamo senz'altro! 😎

Très joli logement avec une vue imprenable sur la mer. Quartier très sympa, je recommande.

Roberto ist ein toller Gastgeber, er ist sehr fürsorglich und hat uns super bei allen Fragen unterstützt. Wir haben uns immer sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist in einer Traumhaften Lage, auf jeder Ebene mit toller Aussicht aufs Meer. Das Highlight ist der Private Zugang zum Meer. Der Pool bietet alles was man für einen tollen Urlaub benötigt. Parkplätze sind im Grundstück vorhanden. Wir hatten einen VW Bus, ein Motorrad und ein kleines Mietauto dabei. (und Mountainbikes) Die nähe zum Flughafen war für uns sehr praktisch, weil wir mit der ganzen Familie dort waren und unsere Kinder zu verschiedenen Zeiten angereist sind. Ein eigenes Auto ist notwendig um Mobil zu sein. Für uns war es perfekt weil wir ca. 50 min ins Kletterparadies San Vito del Capo benötigten und auch mal nach Palermo fahren konnten. Die Entfernung zu den schönsten Orten in West Sizilien sind mit <1Std. zu erreichen. das Wohngebiet ist sehr Ruhig und gepflegt und wir haben uns immer sicher gefühlt. Danke an Roberto

Meine Tochter hat mit ihren Freundinnen eine Woche in der Villa verbracht. Giovanni und sein Sohn Lorenzo waren bei allen Fragen stets erreichbar und haben sofort geholfen. Das Haus liegt direkt gegenüber vom Strand und die Mädchen konnten wundervolle Tage am Strand verbringen oder sich auch einfach auf dem sehr großen Balkon mit Strandblick sonnen. Vom Haus aus ist Palermo City mit dem Bus leicht zu erreichen und auch direkt in Mondello gibt es einige schöne Restaurants und Bars. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ließ keine Wünsche offen und es wurden sogar zu Mückeprävention Stecker für die Schlafzimmer sowie Mückenspray zur Verfügung gestellt. Insgesamt hat es den Mädchen sehr gut gefallen und sie würden immer wieder kommen:)

I’m almost at a loss of where to begin with how much my family and I enjoyed Diego’s incredible accommodation and hospitality! As a beach fanatic, this was the perfect location to enjoy a private and gorgeous location on the Mediterranean. No picture can do justice to the jaw-dropping water and the hours I happily spent wandering the coastline. Others have mentioned the generous spread of local treats Diego and his family provided - I can not overstate how helpful and welcome this was throughout our stay. Because of this, we were able to enjoy home cooked meals most nights; not because we were intending to be frugal (we are vacationing after all!), but because the items he provided were just that copious and delicious. The property grounds are lush and pristine, the bedrooms comfortable, clean and well-appointed, and the craftsmanship of the home is gorgeous. Most importantly perhaps, Diego and his family made US feel like family. Responsive, warm & a true taste of hospitality.

La casa è perfetta per godersi la spiaggia di Mondello, comoda e completa di tutto, anche del parcheggio. Benedetto è un host eccezionale, ci ha accolti anche con alcune sorprese molto gradite e ci ha permesso orari flessibili. Consigliato vivamente :-)

The apartment was even better than expected from the pictures :) It was easy to find and Violeta gave very clear instructions on how to get in (which in turn was easy and handy) and how to find the place. The building has an elevator also. It’s a peaceful area still close to the city centre which is approx 15 mins away by foot. Loads of different types of restaurants and shops around on that 15 min walk. There is even a bakery and small shops just outside. The actual room was nice, everything was functioning well and it had basically everything you need. The balcony had room for a chair and facing the back but still cosy. The apartment also had loads of storage and was quite spacious. Violeta was very helpful and accommodating.

Perfect apartment for our stay in Cefalú! The space was pristine, the amenities were gracious and the location was perfectly central. We were very comfortable there for two nights. Thank you, Pietro and Andrea!

Brigitte’s apartment was wonderful. Located in the historic central area, 3 minute walk to the “heart” of Palermo the Quattro Canto., 7 minutes from Palermo main train station Centrale. Brigitte greeted us at the door. The 1st floor apartment had a balcony on a quiet local’s street that cars weren’t allowed on and which children were playing on. The apartment is on a pretty courtyard with trees and benches. Across the courtyard is a great restaurant that we dined at 2x. Very good food, excellent pizza and prompt friendly service, always busy, mostly tables in the courtyard. Sleeping was nice and quiet. This Airbnb was quite possibly the best appointed Airbnb we have stayed in, and we have stayed in many. Lots of kitchen staples, Nespresso, bottle of wine was left, very comfortable apartment. Would definitely stay here again, and we highly recommend it. Mitchell

Staying at Enrico’s property was the best Air BnB experience I’ve had! He was so friendly, responsive and made so many useful and helpful recommendations. Enrico went above and beyond to make our stay most comfortable and easy. Aside from that, the property itself was the perfect location right on stunning Mondello beach with the most beautiful views. I can’t recommend Enrico’s property enough. Grazie Mille Enrico!

what a stunning place. the apartment was exactly as pictured and in such a beautiful place. the view in a morning with coffee is just what I needed. massimo and luisa were perfect hosts and I can honestly say two of the most genuine lovely people. gave lots of lovely reccomendations and advice for getting around. I cannot wait to go back!

We found Loredana and Filippos place to be like a home away from home! Spotlessly clean, excellent food recommendations, all sites walkable, and every need catered for (food, water, tv, toiletries, books, guides ect). If we’re ever in Sicily we will be staying again!

We have just returned from a great 6 nights at Michele and Doriana's apartment after 4 nights in Palermo. The location is brilliant, with a supermarket just 5 minutes up the hill, and a really nice bakery 5 minutes in the other direction (called Le Delizie, great for breakfast but closed on Wednesdays)! The hosts gave really good recommendations on things to see and do, especially the boat trip which we loved! The boat was also €100 cheaper than the one we used in Palermo, and it also lasted an hour longer! The apartment itself was perfect and matched the photos exactly. The terrace at the top was perfect for having a drink at night. The only downside we could find wasn't anything to do with the apartment itself, but it was the noise on 2 or 3 nights coming from the park outside. Many young people were out until 2am playing really loud music, which made it impossible to sleep in the room facing the park. We would 100% stay here again in the future. Thanks for having us!

A last minute find for us and met all our needs. Francesco and Mariano were responsive and a wealth of knowledge from restaurants, parking and other recommendations. Perfect spot in Cefalù.
