This is the cutest cottage in Pittenweem. The cottage is extremely cosy and welcoming. Although having been recently updated with a new bathroom and kitchen along with a remodeled living room the original integrity is maintained. The home provides everything you will need to enjoy your stay (including tea, coffee, salt & pepper, cooking oil, tinfoil etc.). While being a quiet location a short walk of a couple of minutes will see you at the local baker, post office and the harbour.

Castle in a quiet neighborhood in the country. Be sure you have your own car to get around. It can be hard for taxi’s to find. You can’t walk to restaurants from this location but there are plenty of restaurants, and sweet little towns close by. Beaches, local shops and pottery shops were out favorites. St. Andrews is just down the road 25 minutes. Beautiful country roads will take you there. My husband and I just loved staying in this quaint little castle. This was a hidden gem and we loved it and its surroundings! The kitchen is pristine w just the amenities you will need. The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous but know it is small. The bed had luscious linens and it was very comfy. The host will meet you to go over the house and show you around. We used the fire place to warm the unit too and it worked great. Book this little gem and you’ll be glad you did.

The Old Post Office is in a fantastic location. The fishing villages of East Neuk are gorgeous. Lots of walking and plenty of places to eat. The house is well equipped, and we had a very comfortable stay. My top tip, if you are there in the strawberry season buy the local ones from Pittenweem, they are the best! Thank you Helen.

Brilliant place to stay loved our weekend in the property handy for everything in the village The house is spotless, everything you need and more. We were there with older relatives and everyone had the most restful sleep, in quality beds and bedding. The whole property met all our needs, from utensils in the kitchen, games to play and Alexa for some music. We really can’t wait to go back again, and have already been making plans. Thank you Rachel for a wonderful stay Andrew and Lynsey Walker x

Absolutely lovely stay at this beautiful property! Seeking a relaxing quiet overnighter we couldn’t have found a more suitable idyllic place. The property is modern, clean and with everything you would need to make your stay stress free. Great comms with Tara and the team prior to arrival made check in easy, Tara met us when we arrived and talked us through everything. The instructions to use the facilities were perfect. Compact property but the floor to ceiling windows made it feel bright especially lying in bed looking out to the field with the sheep. Kitchen had all the utensils you needed including coffee machine, kettle, toaster and air fryer! The star of the show was the outdoor bath / hot tub. Easily fits 2 people and kept hot with a log burning stove surrounding the bath, I couldn’t have lay there all night under the stars! Relaxing brekkie on the terrace was a nice way to finish our stay. If you are looking for an escape or relaxing break 100% recommend!!!

Really enjoyed our stay in Pittenweem. Cathy’s cottage was compact, but had everything we needed to have a great weekend away. Beautifully decorated, well located to the harbour and costal path, and very much a home away from home. Would happily return.

Excellent location with a lovely sea view. Parking maybe a problem at high season. Lovely ground floor flat however a wee bit smaller than expected. Comfortable bed, excellent powerful shower. Kitchen a bit on the small side if you are self catering. The hob only had two rings close together that we could only get one pan on at a time. Having said that we had a lovely cozy stay , even seen a pod of dolphins on our last day.
