There is also a very good bus connection to Airport of Chania or Heraklion, both at about 60 km from Platanias. Lidl shop, as well as many super markets, open terraces, taverns etc are at few minutes walk from the apartments.

Archontiko tis Irinis -antecedent mansion

Archontiko tis Irinis is a traditional house from the 19th century in the centre of Adele village, in a field full of trees and natural privacy. The antecedent mansion used to be inhabited by the Ottoman Empire and the Venetians and left behind beautiful touches all around property. The house offers an exhibition of bakery, kitchen and gardening tools that have been used in the Cretan traditional life.
