Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Playa Vista, Los Angeles

The house has a beautiful view, and was clean and comfortable! The hosts did a great job of making the space welcoming and allowing the space for us to have a wonderful visit! Would love to come back again!

We visited this property and hated leaving it for our LA activities. The house itself is a destination worth visiting. The property was very retro feeling and made me imagine famous 70s movie stars partying here long ago. The views are spectacular and make you California dream. We will be back!

The location was convenient, and they accommodated an early check-in request. Everything went smoothly -- we'd definitely stay again if we had reason to be in the neighborhood!

We had a great stay, the neighborhood is quiet, there is a playground a short walk away, and restaurants too!

Mary’s place was great! There were many food spots right around the corner. It was very spacious and felt cozy. My favorite part was the giant mirror and dimmable lights! Parking and getting inside was easy.

Wow, what an incredible two days! This unit truly exceeded my expectations. It had everything I needed and so much more. The beauty of the canyon left me in awe, and there was something magical about savoring breakfast while soaking in that breathtaking morning view. I felt completely at peace, especially since I didn’t come across anyone else during my stay—such a perfect sense of privacy! I love this condo in Westwood -- I am a return customer. FABULOUS location in Westwood near everything and perfect for UCLA. It has parking (!!) and a pool and you can walk to campus, walk to Target (many time if you are helping a student move. Many, many times!) Lots of restaurants all over and Trader Joe's right downstairs. The place is lovely. Great kitchen and bathroom. Super clean and lots of fun.

The place is in a great spot. Walkable to the beach and restaurants. If you’re a super early sleeper there’s some noise from the nearby restaurants and bars. But they really quiet down at a reasonable time. We had no issues. The parking spot as we understood it won’t fit a full size suv width wise. There should be street parking. But double check with the host of you have a big car. The bed was a bit soft for me but every one prefers different mattresses. Great host. Very responsive.

The apartment was clean and had a terrific view. We loved the neighborhood and walked by the ocean everyday.

Bill’s place is fantastic. Close to the beach, restaurants, and many ways to get around (scooters, Uber, etc) right there. Cozy and comfy place. Bed is super comfortable. The outside patio is a great coffee spot and great place to relax and eat. Bill is friendly and responsive and very accommodating. We will try to book this again when we return.

We love our staying at Jordan’s apartment. Everything was perfect. Really comfortable place to stay in a quiet neighborhood outside of LA and only 4 blocks from a nice beach. You have two city bikes spots rental near the house that you can use to go to Venice Beach or Santa Monica. It’s only 15 minutes away from the airport. I really recommend to stay at Jordan’s house!

I had such an amazing time at Anthea's place. Not only was the location absolutely perfect for exploring Venice Beach, but if also offered plenty of space and was super comfortable. (I also loved the bookshelves, loaded with beach reads.) Would absolutely recommend to anyone considering a stay in Venice, and especially to fans of CALIFORNICATION.

Liza and Pascal are phenomenal hosts! They are hospitable, attentive, and accessible! I appreciated Liza checking in on us to make sure we were comfortable, and her readiness to recommend great places to eat and fun things to do in the area. If I had a question, she answered within minutes. The house is beautiful! It is clean, comfortable, and in a quiet neighborhood. This was my first time using Airbnb, and I could not have asked for a better experience!

My daughter picked out Jean’s lovely home for her Birthday celebration. We’re a pretty mellow family and enjoy a cozy and elegant home to celebrate in with great surroundings. This was just perfect. Loved the home so much. Really great living room to watch movies, nice kitchen, comfy bedrooms and lots of yard space for our dogs. Nice hot tub. Really interesting architecture. Amazing huge windows, high ceilings, and the fireplace was a masterpiece. Beautiful trees and bamboo in the yard. Lots of quiet places to relax and destress. Best dog walking neighborhood. Loved it!

Great place. Plenty of room for our family if 8. Loved the little extras ( snacks, laundry detergent, paper towels). Not far from all the tourist attractions. Community was very quiet.

We had a great stay at Stephen's place. It has a fabulous view, it was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. But the best part is the pool and hot tub!

Min’s place was perfect for our group! The rooms were large and each had their own washrooms. The place was close to everything and it was easy to get around! Would definitely recommend to anyone else
