Holiday rentals with a kayak in Poitou-Charentes

The house is very nice, spacious and bright, and well-equipped, as described, in a natural and quiet environment. Everything was perfectly clean, the bed linen too. We were able to enjoy the outdoors and the barbecue, it was perfect! We will definitely come back the next time we visit this beautiful region of the Poitevin marsh.

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Sandrine & Stephan's beautiful cottage. It was spotlessly clean and well appointed, having everything we needed for a very relaxing stay. It is in a quiet location set above Bugues, with stunning views. Sandrine was very friendly and gave us lots of advice and tips for visiting places in the area which was really appreciated. They also showed us their beautiful garden which was a really nice touch. We had a problem with the washing machine and Sandrine and Stephan immediately stepped in to sort it out and fitted a new one the next door which we really appreciated. Overall a lovely stay in fabulous accommodation. Thank you.

We had a great weekend with friends at Roz's. The house is very beautiful, clean, spacious. Everything is provided (bed linen, towels, etc.). Small touches were waiting for us, it's a plus that we really appreciated. The many activities available on site occupied us well, we did not leave the weekend house: pool, jacuzzi, billiards, ping pong, darts, etc. Small dedication to Bob who welcomed us very warmly!

Etienne is a very attentive and caring host We arrived late and in his absence, he inquired to see if we had arrived safely and had no installation problem, he instantly answered our questions by message despite the late hour We are delighted with our stay The neighborhood is very nice, the place is peaceful and we felt welcome with our dog The place is typical and relaxing However, be careful with the stairs that are a little steep, surprising on the 1st day but you get used to it quickly The garden is beautiful, by the river Recommended +++

We had a great time at Anne Sophie's! Beautiful house, quiet garden and filled with birdsong! This is exactly what we were looking for! Thank you to our hosts for making this little paradise available to us! The environment is lovely too. A trip with Julie, a "pigouilleuse" from the Autize pier, a stone's throw from the house, will also be a wonderful memory! We recommend this rental to all nature lovers!

Late check-in time for us, but Vanessa is very flexible about it. Very welcoming, explains things very well, his good humor and smile are great 🥳 We came to stay in this very quiet, soothing setting to go to the St Jean d 'Angély motorcycle cross which remains nearby. A place identical to the photos, relaxing, warm, nothing to say! Top notch 👌

We had a very pleasant stay in this typical house ideally located in the center of Jard-sur-Mer. Angelique is very responsive and available, attentive to our needs, very good advice. As a bonus, gifts to welcome us: a local brioche and a bottle of wine!

A charming accommodation on the banks of the Charente with access to water, which is very useful in hot weather. The house is very nice and well-equipped. The spacious rooms are large and bright with good bedding. The kitchen is well-equipped (the only thing missing was wine glasses, which we couldn't find, and some extra cutlery would be nice). John also sent messages that were kind, welcoming and full of good advice. Location is great for visiting. I'd recommend it without a second thought.

We had a wonderful stay as a group. Three families with children; all found something to do their happiness in this splendid house. The common living spaces are pleasant and spacious, the kitchen is perfectly equipped and the foosball table has brought together young and old around wild parts. Our biggest favorite was the heated indoor pool. An undeniable asset to occupy the children at the end of the day after visiting one of the many sites to see in the region. A big thank you to Adeline who welcomed us so well and was very responsive and accommodating during our stay.

David and Caroline were fabulous hosts and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived at their beautiful property. It was lovely to have a selection of local products, including a bottle of wine, upon our arrival. They explained everything clearly and were always available if we needed any help or had questions. The pictures do not do this property justice. The chateau itself is super charming, comfortable, and is equipped with absolutely everything you could ever need while on holiday. The fact that there was AC in the bedroom was a very welcome surprise as well. The grounds are immaculately maintained and it was delightful to just sit on the varanda and watch the birds while listening to the distant sound of running water. We can’t say enough positive things about our stay - we would absolutely recommend it and can’t wait to go back.

Thank you to Anthony and his wife for their hospitality and availability. We had a lovely time with the family. The hut is very well equipped, surrounded by animals near a lake with lots of amenities. The best of course is the private pool and jacuzzi😍😍😍. Happy hosting

A dream setting, wonderful accommodation, very high quality amenities and in an impeccably clean condition and a more than attentive welcome... and in addition, everything has been thought out and homemade by the owners. Everything was perfect, and even more than that. We highly recommend it for anyone who would like to have a memorable stay.

We had a great extended weekend in this charming cabin! As described, it is not a luxury chalet but a peaceful haven with very simple amenities ideal for a couple. The cabin is in the host's garden but we were alone. Small downside for the garden that seems a little abandoned with a lot of things lying around but it didn't bother us. Marcelle provided us with sheets, towels and duvets although the listing mentioned that you had to provide your own bed linen so it's a good surprise! A small sofa in the living room would be welcome. Thanks again!

the cabin helped us a lot to get home late from a wedding we had nearby. The setting is very pleasant, a very beautiful natural space! The cabins are rudimentary but the interior layout with electrical outlets and the proximity to the sanitary block + dry toilet are enough to sleep one night comfortably and for a very good price.
