Amazing place! Highly recommend. Property is beautiful, easy access to all lake activities, private and quiet, high end amenities, whole experience was perfectly designed down to every last detail. Can't recommend enough and will definitely stay again.

This place was such a good weekend get away! This cabin is super private which we loved. So much wild life! and they had lots of fun activities to offer! Lovely space!

Wonderful stay and amazing host! The communication was excellent from start to finish. When I made a booking mistake, the host handled it with kindness and flexibility. The place was a bit tricky to find, but she has clear directions that she shares with you as soon as you book. She was also very accommodating with my check-in time, which I appreciated after coming straight from work. Although the cabin is attached to the main house, it’s separated by a locking door, and we had complete privacy. Walter and Winnie, the basset hounds, were adorable and friendly! I especially enjoyed birdwatching and seeing a group of deer in the valley at dusk—so peaceful. Cleanup instructions were simple, and even after we left, the host was kind and quick to answer questions about booking again. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

1. Favorite: The beds were super comfy… u will get a great night sleep any of the 4 beds that are here… we all loved it. The beds were amazing.. High-lights: 2. Good time snowmobiling and ice fishing on the lake. 3. Relaxing in the hot tub at 10pm, 20° outside with many stars in the sky…

Our family thrived at Liz’s cabin! The river was perfect for my younger kids—calm and shallow in most areas, great for first-time kayakers. For more adventure, we tried paddling upstream, which was a fun challenge and a great life lesson in perseverance! Downstream and around the cabin is smooth and peaceful, perfect for kids. I recommend bringing a cooler with simple meal ingredients. I packed sandwich supplies but wished I’d brought more—vodka pasta would be ideal here! I made a quick run into town for spaghetti, but options are limited (as Liz notes in her very helpful guide). We also had dinner at Pokegama Lakeside—great food, a beautiful lake view, and an authentic Native American canoe on display! Liz has created a truly magical place. The natural landscaping, cozy cabin details, and high-quality linens made it so comfortable. Thank you, Liz, for such a special stay!

Our family had a great stay at Katherine’s cabin. It was clean, comfortable, and peaceful—just what we needed. The hosts were thoughtful and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

Garrett’s cabin was everything we were looking for! We wanted a place to relax, play games and cook s’mores! We got exactly that as well as being close enough to go into town to check out restaurants, shop and anything else we may have wanted to do. We look forward to our next visit to this wonderful cabin!

Stayed here for our daughter's college graduation weekend. It was great for what we needed for the weekend and close to the campus. The neighbors of our location were super friendly. We would stay here again!

The Owl Barn was one of the best homes we’ve stayed at, and we’ve stayed at a lot! It was comfortable and beautifully decorated with lots to do both inside and outside. It was close to many great parks and hikes. Aaron thought of every detail in the house including night lights in the bedrooms, a basket of miscellaneous items incase you forget something, empty storage space for your food in the kitchen, a welcome card and snack, etc. They made such great use of the space. Our family of 5 had plenty of room and a wonderful, relaxing stay!

My stay at The Woodlands was exactly what I was looking for—quiet, cozy, and deeply restorative. The cabin has a peaceful, tucked-away feel that made it easy to unplug and settle into stillness. I spent the weekend journaling, reading, and just breathing, with no pressure to be anywhere but there. While there were tons of trails to hike and stars to gaze, I didn’t venture out much—sometimes the best kind of retreat is the one where you don’t feel the need to do anything at all if your content and coszy staying in. The space itself is thoughtfully laid out and incredibly comfortable, with just the right balance of rustic charm and intentional care. I’m so grateful for the chance to stay—it was exactly the reset I needed.

This is a wonderful, well furnished, beautiful cabin!!! It is peaceful, a perfect setting. Lots of unique, warm character! Everything one needs to relax, cook, enjoy. I highly recommend staying here. Becky is awesome, quick to respond and very helpful. I used door-dash for the first time. The Log Jam in Menomonie provided great food and quick service Cooked breakfast in the kitchen and found everything needed. Enjoyed the fireplace and coffee on the screened porch. The road out front is a wonderful place to walk the dog. I will be back! Thanks Becky!

Perfect cabin for my bachelor party weekend. A lot of amenities and fun lake stuff along with a beautiful cabin.

Naomi saved our Mothers Day disaster from another host. Not only was Naomi a superb host, her cabin was simply amazing. A place to relax and be carefree. Kids to run and play with the dogs, with no care in the world. A loft perfect for them to find sleep. A kitchen perfect for endless home cooked meals. This cabin was so perfect to take the kids mom and grandma to disappear from reality and be one with nature, family, and self. With non stop, amazing selection of vinyl records on rotation and though available, a TV and electronics were far from necessary. The peacefulness after the sun set and the calm of the rising sun. Naomi always there when we had a question. The forest park with a beach and fire tower just a few miles away along with town being not too close but not too far. This cabin was what we needed and was our much needed paradise. This will become a new annual spot. Beautiful cabin with a beautiful history.

Very comfortable place to stay for a few days and will considering returning when in the area. Loved the bonfire area. House and amenities were very comfortable.

My wife and I celebrated our 13th anniversary here. We're always looking for a spot to digress and do what we love, (apart from kids, work, business, etc.) Which is to converse, reflect, plan, and appreciate... Oh yeah, and cook. We were able to do that and much more in a beautifully minimal environment. Thank you Naomi, and team for everything! Would definitely recommend!

This place was sooo cute. Perfect for a relaxing getaway! The nature surrounding the place was the best part. Definitely would visit again.

Our stay in Zimmerman was a wonderful break with our grandkids and kids. There is plenty of space, the location on the lake is fantastic and the amenities are great. Lots of bathroom items, kitchen was well stocked and the place had lots of extra blankets which was very much appreciated for early morning boat rides or sipping coffee on the deck.

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy little cabin! It’s small, cute, and super clean—exactly what I was hoping for. The view, both in the morning and at night, was peaceful and calming. I loved cooking a meal on the grill—it was in great condition and easy to use. Although I didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit this time, it looked like the perfect spot to wind down and I definitely plan to come back and enjoy a night by the fire next time. It’s a great space not just for a solo traveler like me, but would also be perfect for a couple or even a couple with a child. While the cabin is compact, it’s very well designed and put together with care and comfort in mind. Directions were easy to follow, and it’s in a great location—peaceful and tucked away, but still close to plenty of places to eat and enjoy some recreation. Highly recommend this spot for a quiet, refreshing retreat!

We had an amazing time staying at the Grenwood A-Frame. It was so peaceful and relaxing, not to mention gorgeous inside and outside. Lots of little touches that made it feel so rustic yet modern. We were able to catch some fish in the lake and the surrounding areas. Loved being out in the country yet not a far drive to the surrounding towns. Loved all the wildlife - deer walking through the yard, so many different birds, including eagles! Would definitely stay again. Would love to visit in the snowy winter!

Absolutely exceptional cabin in rural Wisconsin! The space was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, making it feel cozy and luxurious. We had a wonderful time relaxing in the hot tub and watching the beavers by the water—such a peaceful and unique experience. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, well stocked, and the hosts were very communicative and responsive, even making sure we were aware of some severe weather rolling in. Enjoyed the sauna on the cooler days, and the paddleboards and paddle boat on the warmer days. Kids loved the bunk room. Beautiful clean lake with the added bonus of loons, eagles, and green herons. Nice washer and dryer, and the EV charger was a huge plus. Definitely hope to return!

Stefan’s place was extremely clean and well kept. It was everything he said it would be. He was a very accommodating host and communicated very well. We can’t say enough good things about our experience. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you very much Stefen !!!

Came up for memorial weekend which we stayed 3 nights. We had a friend’s gathering and it was amazing! They have a beautiful trail which leads to the river and tree house! The cabin itself felt really homey and made our stay really comfortable. Daniel is kind and very clear with instructions. He was kind of enough to let us do a late checkout. Can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay here and everything was exactly as we had hoped. We highly recommend and look forward to staying again.
