Holiday rentals with a balcony in Portugal

Fabulous views-probably the best the area has to offer! We loved staying on this side of the river-there is still a lot to do/great restaurants, but very easy to walk to the Porto attractions. Hosts were very easy to communicate with and attentive-in fact, they provided us with a whole list of recommendations on check in. This third floor apartment does get rather warm on hot days, despite having strong fans and open windows-it’s something to consider although the lack of AC is well advertised. Amazing place!

Die Unterkunft war super. Wir waren eine Woche im Frühling mit unseren Kindern. Es war alles sehr sauber. Die Lage war super, weil man schnell in der Innenstadt war (perfekt für den Zeitraum). Pedro war sehr nett, schnell zu erreichen und unglaublich hilfsbereit. Es gab alles wie beschrieben. Wir fanden es toll. Danke!

Joana was an awesome host. She was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions as well as provide a concierge to help with setting up anything you need during your stay. The place was in the best location. Easily accessible to restaurants, shops and sightseeing spots. I highly recommend her place to any group staying in Lisbon.

Our Airbnb was in a perfect location—central and walkable to all parts of the city. Numerous restaurants, shopping, coffee spots, and attractions were all just steps away. Ana is a wonderful host—she provided generous amenities and made check-out as simple as possible. The apartment is beautifully decorated with attention to detail. I was initially worried when I saw the construction in front of the building, but we never heard any noise. The apartment is located in the back on the opposite side, and we quickly forgot about it. Getting in and out by foot was no problem, and taxis could easily drop off and pick up nearby. Felipe met us upon arrival and gave us an overview of the city map, which was very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Porto, and the location of the apartment cannot be beat.

One of the best we have stayed in, clean and well set up. Convenient location to tourist sights and restaurants , great coffee shop across the road.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit bei Sandra & Joao. Haben viele tolle Tipps erhalten und auch während unseres Aufenthalts konnten wir uns immer und jederzeit an die Beiden wenden und haben super schnelle Rückmeldungen erhalten. Die Wohnung liegt sehr gut, in der Gehend sind klasse Restaurants und man kommt auch zu Fuß sehr gut in die Innenstadt. Wir können die Beiden nur empfehlen - es war alles rundum klasse ! Gerne wieder 😀

It was a brilliant apartment with everything you need. The location was also great allowing us to get around mostly on foot. The area is really lovely with a supermarket only a few minutes away. Andrè was excellent providing clear instructions and making our trip very stress free. I really recommend this apartment, you will not be disappointed!

We LOVED our stay! The location was perfect as there was a lot around but it did not feel as touristy as other areas. The view from the balcony of the water was so beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

El alojamiento estaba super limpio y muy bien preparado, tenía utensilios de todo tipo lo que ayudó a que la estancia fuese aún más completa. Se nota que tienen el apartamento muy bien cuidado y con mucho detalle. Las indicaciones fueron muy concisas y no tuvimos ningún problema a pesar de no haber tratado en persona con Paul. Lo más impresionante del alojamiento fue su ubicación. Tan solo al salir por la puerta te topas con una playa, pero no una playa cualquiera, sino una que te ofrece unas vistas de lo más espectaculares que hayas podido ver antes. ¡Pudimos disfrutar de los mejores atardeceres que nos regaló la isla! ¡¡¡100% recomendable!!! We had an amazing stay at this villa for the weekend! The place is beautiful with the best view and although around 45 mins-1 hour from Porto, it was perfect. It had everything we needed and more and the host was super responsive and helped us with a later check out which was great. There is also a gorgeous family owned restaurant right by where the food and people were amazing! Would highly recommend and would 100% come back to this place!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft, der Balkon war super und hatte eine tolle Aussicht. Die Dusche war sehr groß und ein toller Wasserstrahl. Die Küche hatte auch alles was wir brauchten. Das Bett war für uns beide etwas klein (wir sind 186cm) und etwas hart aber sonst alles super!

Het verblijf in Casa Golino was erg fijn. Er was veel ruimte en alle benodigdheden waren aanwezig. De plek was heerlijk rustig en er was een leuke tuin bij. Het enige verbeterpunt wat we hadden is dat het huis een beetje muffig rook toen we aankwamen. Maar na het open zetten van de ramen was dat ook gouw opgelost. Dus wat ons betreft zeker een aanrader!!

Great place, beautiful view of the sea and the city. There was a local cat that was the sweetest and friendliest (it was hard saying goodbye). Overall, it was easy to check in, besides having a little trouble at first getting the lockbox open. There was one living room shown in the photos that was locked and unavailable to us. The floors were a little dirty, but everything else was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for a large group. Street parking was across from the house and was easy. Overall, I would definitely recommend!! Amazing location to explore the island!

As a family of 5 traveling with little kids we felt right at home! Although the restaurants and market are 5 mins or 1-2 miles from the house it’s not a walkable area. When exiting the house be careful because of the traffic on the highway. Very clean home and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Kids enjoyed the back yard and basketball goal and video games in the living room. We enjoyed the country scenery. Was able to get an Uber and have the same driver each trip to the market and restaurants. Uber trip from the house to local markets and restaurants is €3. Would stay here again! Family friendly! Lots of space! Adequate heating in the home!

Our stay was excellent! Elsa was over the top in every way! We had a gift of wine and custard tarts when we got there, Elsa arranged a reservation at an amazing restaurant and she responded quickly to any inquiry. Would definitely come back to this beautiful sanctuary.

Beautiful grounds cared for very well by Fernando!! Amazing how the water runs through it. Easy to walk around town from the cottage. Very comfortable and cute spot ! Be sure you know the key pickup for the the house is near the airport , not near the house ! Very much enjoyed our stay !!

First, the condo was as described. Better yet, it was spotless. The furniture and beds were very comfortable, which is important at the end of a long day exploring Lisbon and the surrounding countryside. Next, they provided great recommendations on places to eat. I do have one recommendation, though, a small welcome basket of goodies (coffee pods, snacks, etc.) would make a nice bonus after traveling. Not a big deal, just a thought. Finally, I was traveling with my 85 year-old mother who uses a cane to walk. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that the elevator is located 12 steps up from the lobby. Additionally, the elevator only travels mid-floor to mid-floor, so she'd either still have another 10 steps up or down to the unit. In the end, she was a champ and navigated the steps to/from the first floor each day. This doesn't detract from the unit, just something to keep in mind if you're traveling with someone like my mother. All-in-all this is a great place, and I'd stay here again.

paid parking was confusing. located among great restaurants. catmandu was amazing. lots of people walking around. an eclectic neighborhood but felt very safe. views were amazing. quiet bldg amongst the hustle and bustle of Lisbon.

Terrys condo in Carvoeiro was great, the apartment is really spacious and has everything you need, plus a little pool in the garden for cooling off (perfect for our young baby on hot days). There is so much within walking distance from here which was ideal for us with a pram - the beach, multiple restaurants, tennis courts (or pickleball if you fancy it), supermarkets and cafes. Terry was so helpful and welcoming even before we arrived. He greeted us for check in, which was very kind considering we had a late flight. Due to our flight getting in at around 10pm Terry offered to get us some supplies from the supermarket in advance since everything would be closed once we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble, and he is super knowledgable of the area. Couldn’t fault the apartment or Terry, highly recommend.

From the moment we arrived, the host's warm welcome set the tone for a delightful stay. The apartment itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained, featuring comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen stocked with essentials like coffee, tea, and laundry supplies. Public transportation was easily accessible, with metro stops just a short walk away, making it easy to get around. Ana was great and so was her place!

I completely endorse the comments that other guests have made. Ingmar’s apartment is a complete home with everything anyone would need for a relaxing stay & offers value & quality. The location is excellent, a hire car is not really necessary as there are bus stops just metres away for trips to the east & west Algarve. For those who like walking the location is perfect for ambles along the coastline & to beautiful beaches. Alvor with its varied restaurants, fantastic beaches & long boardwalk is a must visit. The 3 brothers beach & its restaurants, Sol & Sombre & Canico offer excellent food & a lovely place to swim & sunbath especially if you have children. A day spent there followed by a walk back to Ingmar’s apartment makes for an enjoyable day & a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. For those who like a lively nightlife head to Roche. Ingmar is a up there with the best super hosts.

We had the most amazing stay in Luz. When we arrived we felt extremely comfortable. Everything was so clean and well prepared. The apartment is a real charm. I would definitely recommend to stay here.

We LOVED the location of this apartment - tucked away and an easy walk to almost everything. It was large and had everything we needed. The third bedroom is a makeshift office with a futon that is not very comfortable, but the other two bedrooms are great and with all there is to do, we were not in our room much anyway. Would definitely recommend!

Très propre, bonnes prestations, très comfortable, super emplacement, belle vue, entrée autonome moderne. Je recommande ! L’organisation pour l’accès au parking est malheureusement un peu compliquée: il faut préalablement rentrer dans l’appartement pour prendre le ticket du parking et c’est compliqué de se garer dans les ruelles à proximité de l’immeuble pour prendre le ticket et ensuite aller se garer. Je présume que c’est la seule organisation possible.
