In Alentejo´s golden fields we find Lobeira, a century-old cottage surrounded by trees, patio, swimming pool and next to a lovely river beach. The original features of the construction in mud, stone and wood were kept, favoring the use of natural materials and local handmade techniques while adding all the necessary amenities to provide a perfect stay. 3 houses, totally independent of each other. The Wind Mill

Beautifully located in hills overlooking the Atlantic Ocean sits the Marinhas windmill. The windmill dates from the year 1758 and was built in the traditional northern Portuguese style with circular walls, two floors, an entrance on the grown floor and two windows on the upper floor. It is classified as a municipal heritage building. The mill is 130 meters above sea level thus providing a breathtaking view over the towns and ocean and a unique retreat for the more adventurous guest.

It has a NATURAL SWIMMING POOL, swim and relax in the clean swimming area while watching hovering dragonflies, butterflies and all the magic of a natural swimming pool. In 2015 the house was completely renovated with an extension built using straw bales that keeps the house cool in the summer an warm in the winter. Welcome to the Serra de Grândola, a peaceful and serene area, perfect for those who like to be close to nature. The house is located in the village of São Francisco da Serra, with its small church, windmills and cork extraction workers. Nestled on the top of its hill, the house allows quick access to the lagoon of Santo André and the ocean (10km), the villages of Melides (15km), Grândola and Comporta. A car will be required.
