Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Positano

We spent a relaxing few nights in this lovely Airbnb, its fairly high up the hill but you can catch the bus from the centre of Positano for a few euros which drops you just outside of the apartment opposite the. We loved sitting on the balcony with some snacks and a bottle or two of wine watching the sunset and looking at the amazing views. The apartment is spacious and spotlessly clean. We were checked in by Angelo who couldn’t have been more helpful and gave us some great tips for restaurants and what was in the local area and the easiest way down to the centre of Positano. We booked porter service to bring our luggage up to the apartment but we walked back down to the port on leaving along the road which is downhill all the way and very easy to navigate with cases and it took it around 15 to 20 mins at a gentle pace. A fab place to stay.

Such an amazing home! Beautiful view and amazing distance from the bus stop which is super convenient! Melania was very helpful in all ways! Would stay here again!

Gabriele was very attentive to anything we needed and the place was very clean, especially the bathroom. He also gave us plenty of recommendations of grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, pastry shops, and gelato shops that were near the location. It was a great place for 2, but just beware (especially in the warmer months), it will get your legs burning and you will be breaking a sweat to get there. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Della Nonna. Salvatore was awesome. He greeted us when we arrived and was available throughout our stay. He also made restaurant suggestions and reservations for us. He arranged car services for several of our car trips. The house is very comfortable and pretty. The view is spectacular. Very private and comfortable. Thank you Salvatore for making our stay in Positano perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at Titina’s Home —this place was perfect for our family. The apartment is very clean, thoughtfully updated, and still full of the coastal charm that makes the Amalfi Coast so special. The kitchen was great for cooking in after baby’s bedtime, and the air conditioning throughout kept the space cool and comfortable—even during hot days—making naps and nights easy for all of us. The view is just as stunning as photos show, and we loved ending our days there. Pietro was a fantastic host—responsive, welcoming, and so helpful. He and the local community were incredibly supportive, especially when we realized we needed something specific for our baby. The location in Praiano is ideal: right in the heart of the coast, but more peaceful than the bigger towns. It gave us the perfect balance—easy access to Positano, Amalfi etc, but with a quieter, more relaxed pace that suited our family perfectly. We’re so grateful for the stay—thank you, Pietro!

We will never forget our first trip to Italy and the views from this beautiful property will forever be imprinted in our memories. If you are looking for an authentic experience away from tourists and crowds, but surrounded by beauty, this is your place. Michele is an incredible host who will tirelessly answer your questions, anticipate your needs and make arrangements to ensure you get the full experience. Raffaella’s place was amazing and would definitely stay again! The view was absolutely stunning and the room was very nice and clean, just what we needed. The location to meet for check in was a little confusing at first but we found her quickly. Rafaella’s brother was able to carry our luggage up and down when we came and left which was a huge help since there were so many stairs. Additionally and most importantly, my boyfriend proposed here on this beautiful balcony and I cannot thank Rafaella enough for everything she did to set up and prepare it for him. It was perfect !!

This place is a gem in positano. The view is absolutely amazing and the privacy is welcomed in such a busy tourist town. Like all of Positano, there are a lot of steps. Giovanni is a pleasant host as well. He was kind enough to greet us and show us the way. He also helped us book a taxi back at a better rate than local services. The home offers a lot as well. Absolutely loved this place

We had a lovely three days in Praiano at Ana's place. The views are incredible. The place is spacious, clean and decorated so that it feels like home. The location is walkable to the SITA bus, Mobility bus, Praiano taxi. It is also walkable to several restaurants. We like Kasai and Il Pino restaurants the best! Ana greeted us upon arrival and got us settled with any needed information. She was very responsive and helped arrange transfer from town to town with luggage. We are sad we had to leave. Highly recommend!

Regina was fast to respond. She will text you prior to your arrival to advise on check-in & transfer from airport. We were early for check-in like 1 hour ahead and she has accommodated to our request. She came in person to orientate us throughout the unit and the amenities. She also gave a local map and recommendation on food choices. The location is walkable to the Spiaggia Grande for our tours & more great food. The unit is a 1 bedroom with a toilet & balcony a few metres away from scooter rental & some food. Not too quiet and yet not too busy. It is clean and well-maintained. Size wise is a little small but this doesn't inconvenient us.

It was a perfect stay in Amalfi. The location was perfect! We received sufficient and clear information from Antonio in advance. We were very well received by his father, and help was also immediately provided for our luggage. During our trip, we could always go to Antonio with questions about restaurants, excursions, etc... Highly recommended!

Esther’s Airbnb was perfect for our Positano trip! Esther was very responsive when we had questions (some of which was already in instructions she provided ahead of time oops haha) and she still was willing to help! The Airbnb was perfect and had great amenities including shower gel, shampoo, etc. We loved her local recommendations as well. I would definitely recommend this place as it’s very close to the bus stop! (You need to use the bus to go down to the main area of Positano- do not try walking unless you want to do 30+ flights of stairs haha)

A very spacious apartment with everything you need. Patio space and view was very memorable. Located in a peaceful area away from tourist hub & within walking to great restaurants. Our host was very helpful & attentive which was very much appreciated. A fantastic experience.

I cannot recommend this listing enough! Praiano is quieter and less hectic compared to Positano and Amalfi and it was an amazing location for our few days on the Amalfi Coast. Pezz Pezz is the perfect location close to so many local restaurants and easily walkable down the steps to two beach clubs (One Fire and La Gavitella) as well as a lovely cocktail bar overlooking the sea (Cafe Mirante). La Gavitella also hosts a cooking class at their restaurant that can be accessed via the steps from the AirBnB. The hosts are very attentive to their guests and make check-in and check-out smooth and easy! The hosts were also kind enough to book a Taxi for us the evening before our departure so we could catch our ferry in Positano hassle free! The space is exactly as listed and incredibly clean and well kept. The views are exceptional and the surrounding area is safe and quiet. We would have loved to stay a few more days but are hoping we can make it back in the future!

Beautiful apartment with great views. In order to get that view, there are a lot of steps. I recommend using a taxi or the porter service upon arrival and departure for your luggage. There is also a bus stop nearby. We were 2 couples, we would walk the steps each day and just meet up with the other who rode the bus. Worked out fine as bus runs often. We would definitely return. Host was very helpful and responsive and apartment had all we needed.

Absolutely book this Airbnb, it’s even more stunning in person! Roberto’s place completely exceeded our expectations. The photos don’t do it justice. We were blown away from the moment we arrived and are already planning to return. The spacious terrace offers a breathtaking view, with plenty of seating to relax and soak it all in. It was so peaceful and serene: a place that made us want to stay in and enjoy the home. One afternoon, with the incredible backdrop of the terrace, my boyfriend proposed, it was magical and unforgettable. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including an incredibly cozy bed. The location is ideal, just a short, scenic walk to the main square and its charming restaurants. We also found it easy to visit Amalfi and Minori from Ravello. Roberto is a wonderful host - warm, welcoming, and attentive. He arranged a private driver for us, greeted us at check-in, and offered local tips. He made us feel right at home. This Airbnb is a must!

We had a lovely time at Helgas place in Sorrento! Clean and beautiful space, open and gorgeous surroundings! The check in process was super easy, one of the lovely hosts met with us and showed us everything, really responsive and helpful when we needed anything! We enjoyed a couple mornings in the private courtyard and watching the sunset down on the balcony by the sea! Wondering through the lemon and orange groves was picturesque! Sorrento was a great place to visit, the town and restaurants and beach clubs all within a 20 minute walk We would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Sorrento, we wish we could have stayed longer!

Raffaele and Anna went above and beyond to make our stay special. As soon as we booked, Raffaele gave us several recommendations and booked a boat tour (absolutely amazing) and transfer for us. They were both available at all times for any questions and it wouldn’t have been the same visit to Positano without them. That said- this place is very high up and there are a lot of stairs if you plan to walk everyday. On average, our phone showed we walked up 60-100 flights of stairs per day! The view was well worth it and we didn’t gain any weight from the pasta. Book here for a great stay.

This was a wonderful stay! It was my first time ever visiting Praiano and this was the perfect place for my trip! Antonio was always very responsive and helpful, I asked him for local recommendations and he helped me right away. i’ve never met another host that was as nice and helpful as Antonio was! He made sure we had the perfect stay outside of just having a lovely airbnb to stay in. The place was so spacious, clean, and pretty! I loved sitting out in the balcony enjoying the views of the ocean. I felt very safe, lots of walkable restaurants/stores, and not a far walk to the main beach. We were greeted during check in and they even came to say goodbye during check out. Overall I highly recommend this place! I will definitely be staying here next time I come to Praiano/Positano.

Great stay in Positano! This place is up the hill quite a bit if you arrive from the marina but that’s where all the good views are! Porters or taxis available to take you to the top but we walked up with our luggage. Restaurants and a small market type store close by if you need to buy things. The stay was fantastic, had everything we needed and accurately described. It was nice to have a small washer to do laundry on our journey and air dried everything on a rack outside. Good communication.

This was our first trip to Positano and this apartment was the perfect spot! Luca was very proactive and helped us with everything we needed throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this apartment and look forward to staying here again!
