Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Poway

Sharon and the property are like Mary Poppins…Practically Perfect In Every Way!!! Our extended family of nine spent a few days celebrating my wife’s 50th Birthday. Live / Love / Laugh…our time in Sharon’s home let us do all of those things, and the memories created will last a lifetime. The home had such an amazing spirit and feeling. For this trip, I had so many things planned, even down to the minute. But it all changed, because we loved being together and enjoying the backyard. We might not have been able to dive like Greg Louganis, or swim like Michael Phelps, or know all the birds like Jim Fowler, or grill like Guy Fieri, or even putt like Tiger Woods…but for those four magical days…we were!!! Sharon was the best!!! Her thoughtfulness, concern, and caring for my family is nothing short of a Mastercard commercial…Priceless. Thank you Sharon ❤️

Patrick was an excellent host!! The accomodations were great, especially for larger groups. Fit our needs perfectly. The place was clean, bright, and quiet. Patrick went out of his way to answer any questions we had and responded very timely. I would definitely stay there again if I am in the San Diego area.

Kevin was an amazing host! He went out of his way to make sure our stay was great. We forgot to bring our pack and play crib for our 1 year old and Kevin ordered a brand new one and it arrived the very next day! The property was very peaceful and my kids loved having the chickens nearby. Kevin even provided us with eggs from the chickens and we had a great breakfast that next morning eating fresh eggs! The home itself was very cozy and my family of 7 fit perfectly. Very clean and had everything we needed and Kevin was always there if we needed something extra. Was located in a nice area away from the business of San Diego but close enough that we were only 35 minutes from Mission Beach. I’d definitely recommend staying here and will be coming back next time I’m visiting San Diego.

Perfect place for our large group of adults. All amenities were available to us. Our hosts communicated well and promptly prior to and throughout our stay. I would highly recommend.

This home was perfect for us as we had to evacuate from fires with our animals. We felt very much at home in this house. It has lots of space inside and out. Beautiful neighborhood. Grocery store down the street. Levi was very responsive and super flexible giving us early check in.

What a lovely and relaxing home! It had everything that the listing described but with warmth that is hard to vocalize. We felt right at home as there were tons of thoughtful touches (like a throw blanket for the sofa) and plants. It felt like our vacation home. We may well stay here again the next time we visit relatives in this area. Note, this is a suburban neighborhood that is also conveniently located for visiting tourist sites. Thank you!

This wonderful find was amazing!! Beautiful decor, not cluttered, very clean and everything had a place and easy to find. They made sure that if you forgot something, they had it there for you! Richard literally thought of everything, we were amazed!! Very cozy outside with a lovely fireplace to sit around and beds to sit in the sun 😎 If you stumble across this place, you will not be disappointed ! We had a lovely Memorial Day weekend at Richard's place!! Very cute cottage that was clean, bright, and had all the amenities. We loved that he included a wagon, beach chairs, umbrella, and beach toys for us to use. The beach was an easy few blocks away and took about 10 to 15 minutes to get to. Restaurants are within walking distance too. There were also plenty of bikes and helmets available to use and my family was able to enjoy a lovely ride in the neighborhood. Richard was very responsive, helpful, and kind. We enjoyed ourselves and look forward to going back!!

Location is very walkable to charming downtown Vista area, and the unit itself is clean, airy, and spacious with plenty of amenities! There are clear instructions in place too and the dedicated parking was a big plus. It was a peaceful and restful place to stay, thank you Kim!

Amazing place, it’s a great place for a couple. Restaurants are at a walking distance. Lauren was really helpful throughout the whole stay with any questions we had. Will definitely book again when we visit in the future.

We had an exceptional experience! We felt right at home and had everything we needed. The garden was beautiful and we had such a peaceful stay. We were in town for a wedding at the Grand Tradition. It is literally 3 minutes away. Perfect location if you're in town for a wedding!

The location is perfect for sightseeing in San Diego, many of the locations are within walking distance or a few minutes by car. Vivian is a very good host, she was always attentive and responded quickly. The only issue we had was that we hardly had any hot water.

This is one of those true gems you’re absolutely stoked to stumble upon. The minute we drove down the country lane and saw the house, my wife and I knew we had found a truly magical getaway. We both agree it’s one of the top three homes/properties we’ve had the pleasure of experiencing! Every square inch of the property is amazing. The house is beautiful. The kitchen is stocked and perfect for those who enjoy cooking. We cooked three of the four nights because we just loved the atmosphere and views so much! Our four year old absolutely loved exploring the trails, pond and backyard. The hot tub was in perfect condition. Rare! The awesome fire-pit on the balcony was perfect for making smores and staying warm while listening to the frogs sing while stargazing. We played games, watched movies and just had a perfect long weekend. The worst part was having to say goodbye! It was so peaceful, it’s going to be hard to beat such a good nights rest. Another week would have been nice!

Amazing place to stay with our family. So much to do on the ranch that we didn’t even have to leave to find something to do. It felt like a home away from home and being surrounded by animals was an animal lovers dream. My teenage nephews who are always on their phones even loved it here. Nick the dog was the sweetest and walked us and our guests to the front door and showed us around the ranch. Chancelor was an amazing host and provided us with so many recommendations and offered a tour of the ranch. We definitely have to come back to take him up on his offer so we can learn more. My family and I are thinking of making this an annual trip!

An unforgettable stay — highly recommend! We had such a wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and felt cozy yet spacious. Every detail—from the comfortable bedding and well-stocked kitchen to the thoughtful touches like fresh towels, coffee, and made us feel completely at home. The location was perfect—peaceful and private, breathtaking mountain view from the pool. We especially how quiet the neighborhood was. Our host Posh was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful, making check-in and communication smooth and stress-free. It’s clear they truly care about their guests’ comfort and experience. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it whole.

This place is amazing. I slept so well since the location is quiet and secluded. Colleen is quick to respond and super kind. The design of the cabin itself is pretty as well. I would 100% stay here again.

This was our second time at Twin Oaks, bringing our kids along this time, and it was another amazing visit. From the parking right by the kitchen door it’s easy to unload our van and settle in for 3 nights. Two slept soundly in the loft area and the other was on a bed in the sun room. We enjoyed the firm king bed and slept well to! There are no blinds in living room so the view was spectacular though it did mean the kids woke up early. The house was clean and comfortable and easily cooked every meal in the well equipped kitchen. Sandrine is a great host, we have really enjoyed staying with her!

I absolutely fell in love with the historical charm of this cabin! It’s such a delightful spot, filled with an amazing atmosphere that makes it a perfect getaway. One minor hiccup during our trip from Arizona back to San Diego was the lack of cell signal, which made checking in a bit challenging. However, that small inconvenience couldn’t dampen our spirits! The vintage bathtub added such a lovely touch to our stay, and I appreciated the old-fashioned heating system that kept us cozy when the night air turned chilly. The porch was a gem as well! Nestled in nature and featuring comfy seating, it was the ideal spot to unwind. While the area doesn’t allow for outdoor lights, having a flashlight handy is a great idea if you’re arriving after sunset. The location is perfect for a leisurely stroll, and we enjoyed the fascinating history shared. Overall, we are truly grateful for the opportunity to experience this. Another bonus is that Julian is just down the street!

Such a beautiful and peaceful little cabin in the woods. Everything was absolutely perfect. Sandra was so kind and answered all of our questions and gave such easy instructions to get to the house. It made for the most perfect weekend getaway we could ask for. If we're ever in the area again we know exactly where we're staying!

This place is exactly what you see. You have all the privacy you need, but you're not too far away from the market. Finding the place, getting inside and the amount of things that you can do at the home, makes it worth the stay. The house was spotless, and everything in the house works. No surprises.
