An ideal ‘base camp’ as you explore the National Park and surrounding area. Light a fire and get lazy, chill out in the hottub, star-gaze at the incredible night skies, or just take in the majestic Pen y Fan as you plan (or recover from) your ascent.

Nestled in a quiet wooded valley on a field in Midwales you will find The Old Grain Store Wales. It has been renovated to a high standard, we have added lots of luxurious touches too. You can soak away your stresses in the private hot tub, enjoy a BBQ or toasting smores on the fire pit, which is situated on the bridge over the brook, enjoy reading a book in the king size bed with gorgeous views or relax on the sofa and watch the TV. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Set in the Welsh hills, it’s a walkers paradise or simply a relaxing place to get away from it all listening to the stream at the end of the garden. For 2024 we have introduced a hot tub so after a hard day walking you can relax in the hot tub overlooking the river. If you need to work from the cottage we now have Starlink. This will enable our guests to have brilliant internet use to complete pieces of work or just browse your socials!
