A beautiful, secluded retreat. Just what we needed for a relaxing weekend. We spent many hours in the hot tub and sat in the garden, watching the horses and sheep opposite. The cabin felt very homely, private and welcoming. We will definitely be returning soon and would recommend to anyone!

Carol and George’s Shepherd hut is a little piece of heaven. It is tucked away in a quiet place between fields and mountains with endless views and sunshine. We could hear nothing but the birdsong and cattle. The garden is private and has the most stunning sunset view. We could not have asked for a better break from the bustling city life. Carol and George gave us a warm welcome on arrival which was a sweet personal touch. We would definitely return!!

We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

Great location and very helpful host. Helped us built a fire after we failed. Definitely would come back again.

My 2nd stay here. A perfect escape from it all. So calm and serene in nature. Can’t wait to visit again! Thank you!

Lovely little shepherds hut. Bed looks small in the pictures but was very spacious and comfy! All amenities and equipment you could need. Perfectly situated for surrounding walks (Pen y fan about 20 minutes away in the car) lots of lovely waterfall walks (Henrhyd Falls was a lovely walk). Lovely place to escape it all.

The Cowboys hut was a beautifully made hut in an idyllic location. Danna left a lovely welcome hamper on arrival and the hut was clean and tidy. The log fire kept us toasty and we would love to visit again.

A lovely remote spot. Gorgeous view, sparkling clean inside and very comfy cosy bed. Would love to stay again!

Amazing place, beutifull surroundings. Pod is comfortable, unique experience for us ,we loved it. Although we had constant rain and wind we managed to make camp fire which was lovely(bring your own logs). We would love to come back in better weather to fully enjoy the place. Thank you Sian!

The cabin was absolutely amazing! Exceeded all expectations. It was a beautiful, peaceful location with amazing views. Amazing hot tub too! The hosts definitely thought of everything, kitchen was so well kitted out. Top tip, grab some food to keep you going from the shops in Abbergaveny on the way up!

We let ourselves in through the gate as instructed and parked up, Beth came out to greet us and show us around, The hot tub was still filling so the water is definitely changed between every visit. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking pans and utensils and the views are stunning, We stayed for 1 night only but wished we stayed longer, Will definitely return for a longer stay to take in the beautiful surroundings. what a lovely place! It was spotlessly clean and the outside area was beautiful. We had use of a BBQ and a firepit and there was plenty of seating options plus a hidden hammock with great views. The bed was super comfy, the shower was lovely and we had all the cutlery, glasses etc that you could want. We would definitely recommend this place. Thank you Andrew for a wonderful stay and for the little extras you left for us.

We had a fantastic time at Angela’s, it’s a wonderful place to stay. Angela was welcoming from the moment we arrived the whole place was perfect. We are extremely grateful for all the touches that made the birthday trip fantastic, and can’t wait to come and stay again. Thank you Angela!

Had a lovely stay at Idris. The location was excellent for a quiet few nights away, with plenty of hiking opportunities and great views. The property itself was well stocked and had everything I needed to full enjoy my stay. The host Suzanne was also very friendly and ready to help as needed.

Absolutely stunning place. Was perfect for our anniversary. Hot tub was perfect, after we worked out how to get all 4 jets working. Swings and fire pit were so cute and perfect for smore making. Absolutely stunning waterfall walk just down the road. We had a beautiful Indian from The Pink Elephant which was formally known as Mango House - we left a menu in the welcome pack :) overall perfect couple of days. Only thing I would say is bring your own fire starters, wood was supplied but no fire starters :) xx

We had a wonderful stay for our anniversary with our two dogs! The stay was so peaceful and in such a tranquil setting away from everyday life, & just what we needed. Perfect place to relax away from the outside world. Lovely walks nearby and perfect for the dogs too! Great host, super accommodating and thanks for allowing us to check in early!

Beautiful place! Photos don’t do it justice. All me and partner spoke about is how it would be a dream to live here. Amber was so helpful and left us more than we needed to have a great time!

Fran was so kind and helpful throughout my entire stay. While this is a small place, I was not expecting such a beautiful property to explore and the room to be as cozy as it was. I even had access to a fridge, laundry, shower, and even some cell service every once in a while. Fran and everyone on the property was so wonderful and kind going above and beyond what was required of them. I would highly recommend this place if you want to escape to a working farm for a while.

We booked last minute after being stuck in standstill traffic on our way up to visit family in North Wales, the booking process was seamless and was followed up by a message from Bronwyn right away with further information and details. Really flexible with us arriving late in the evening - beautiful surrounding, peaceful and had the best night sleep!

What a fabulous little place. perfect for our night get away.. could have done with another night. Clean and tidy. The views were amazing and watching the sheep and horses.. so lovely. Emma was so so lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The town is less than 5 minute drive and lovely looking pubs, shops and cafes. Highly recommend this stay.

My partner & I came for our anniversary and had the most lovely stay! The hut was absolutely perfect - it was so cosy & super equipped. The hot tub was LUSH too! We will definitely be back (hopefully very soon🤭)

Absolute perfection, the location is so stunning we wanted to move in permanently! The location is absolutely magical, the facilities were perfectly kept, the secret peaceful pool is a hidden gem and the welsh cakes were delicious too. There's so much to do and see right on the doorstep too we're already planning to come back
