Family-friendly holiday rentals in Prato

Unser Aufenthalt war ein Traum. Francesca und Francesco haben einen wunderbaren Ort geschaffen, sind sympathische Menschen und tolle Gastgeber. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt und haben alle nötigen Informationen erhalten. Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns zuhause gefühlt und konnten das liebevoll gestaltete Gelände frei erkunden und auch in Privatheit genießen. Auch der Kontakt zu anderen Gästen war angenehm und respektvoll. Die Räume sind rustikal und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und versprühen einen besonderen Charme. Der Ausblick ist atemberaubend. Die Anfahrt zur Poderracio ist entsprechend abenteuerlich (Serpentinen und enge, holprigen Straße). Alle Produkte wie z.B. der Frühstückskorb sind super lecker und von hoher Qualität . Zusätzlich haben wir von Francesca frisch geerntetes Gemüse (Zucchinis, rote Beete, Zwiebeln und Knoblauch) bekommen. Während des Aufenthalts wurden wir zum gemeinsamen Pizzabacken in den Privaträumen eingeladen und genossen einen wunderschönen Abend. DANKE!

We had an absolute perfect stay in Salverio and Lorenzo's flat. It was incredibly spacious - very unusual to have a 3 bedroom/3 bath flat to rent in such a highly sought after part of Firenze. The decor was a perfect blend of antiques and art mixed with contemporary furnishings. Having a washer/dryer was a fantastic addition. Our favorite part of the flat was the rooftop terrace at sunset. You feel like you are on top of all of Firenze looking across the buildings. The duomo view was breathtaking. It was magical and truly stunning. The location could not be more suitable for proximity to all of the sights and indulge in luxury shopping. Salverio and Lorenzo were so helpful and accommodating. We will most assuredly be back! Thank you to you both!

Massimo beschreibt den Weg zur Unterkunft sehr gut, das Häuschen liegt etwa 20 min südlich von Florenz mitten in den Weinbergen, sehr ruhig und malerisch in den toskanischen Hügeln. Wir waren zu dritt bei Massimo und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt! Ob Stadtbesichtigung von Siena& Florenz, Weinverkostung oder einfach die Ruhe am Haus genießen: für alles das perfekt geeignet! Das Haus ist typisch toskanisch, Massimo und Beatrice haben viel Arbeit reingesteckt um ihren Gästen einen authentischen Aufenthalt zu bieten: trotzdem aber modern mit Klimaanlage- im Sommer geht’s auch kaum ohne! Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit!

I can not say enough about Alessandra and her amazing land! It was the most magical place we have ever been to. We are taking a 3 month trip, hitting up 21 cities in Europe and this is BY far the best! She was so kind and took us shopping and back to our train! She was always there when we needed her.thank you Alessandra we will see you next year!

Everything was great! Responsive, helpful pre-travel communication, warm welcome, beautiful and stylish flat, plentiful and free of charge provision of food and drinks, comfortable bed, and much more. Dear Carlotta and Federico: you do an amazing job! Thank you so, so much for everything!

We had a really good time at this place. It was spacious, clean, and worked perfectly for our group. There were plenty of bathrooms, and the house had all the amenities you might need for a comfortable stay. The outdoor space was a big plus—especially the terrace and patio area with the big table, which was great for hanging out and having meals together. The location is honestly perfect—super peaceful, but just a short drive to Florence, great local restaurants, and vineyards. Also, there was tons of parking space, which made things super easy for us. Check-in was smooth and the host was really helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Great house with amazing views. We used the pool a lot as it was very hot during our stay. Francesco and Serena were very nice and helpful. They booked a cooking class for us, which I highly recommend. The location is very convenient for visiting Florence, as it only takes about half an hour by train from Rufina.

Simply unbelievable – a secluded haven with everything you'd want from a holiday home in the Italian countryside. We spent 6 days with our two young kids at Monica's place, and had one of the best holidays ever. The house is beautiful, well-equipped and charming, and the views are out of this world. Sunset out of the bedroom window will stay with me forever! Then there's the gardens - lots of room for kids to run around in complete safety, with a large infinity pool (cold in May, but still enjoyed every day by us and the kids… the view was so beautiful I proposed to my fiancee there 🥳), and also a playground and outdoor bowls lane. There's an excellent restaurant within 5 minutes walk, but Sillico is a quiet, beautiful medieval hamlet and not much more – be aware that to get anywhere you'll need to drive 12 minutes down quite a narrow twisty road. It didn't bother me, but just something to be aware of for less confident drivers. Overall: one of the best places I've ever stayed!

My wife and I stayed at Marco’s for a week for our honeymoon. We both loved it. Pool was beautiful and peaceful. The property is fantastic the pictures don’t do it justice. As amazing as it looks in the photos it is 1000 times better in person. The front gate made everything feel so secure. Walking up the steps to the guest house we were hit with a nice floral smell with all the daisies growing everywhere. Such a peaceful and beautiful property. The view was stunning looking over the mountains. The place was perfect. The kitchen was everything we needed and more, the pull out couch allowed us to relax and watch tv at the end of the night. The patios were perfect for coffees and meals. And the bed was nice and comfortable. Marco left a flower pedal heart on the bed for us which was a nice personal touch. We met his parents (who stay in the main house) they were very kind and gave us our privacy. There was lots of information about the area and things to do. Wish we stayed longer

The pictures don’t do the beauty of the space justice. Maria, the housekeeper who lives in the basement unit was very discrete. Dawn was our host and set us up some incredible reservations, as well as helped us with a transportation issue. The view is otherworldly off the back porch, which overlooks olive trees. There are many adorable tortoises that live in the backyard and are very fun to watch. Close drive from the tram as well as many incredible restaurants. Take the cooking class with Maria!!! It was a trip highlight. If you stay here, you will definitely want a car.

Please do yourself the favor and book this space immediately. To call the home a palace would be an understatement. As a constant traveler, this is easily the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed at. Perfect view of the Uffizi gallery and river Arno. A 2 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio and many surrounding markets and Osteria’s. Frederico is an amazing host and now a good friend of ours. He accommodated us and was super patient when we were checking out. The home is extremely well curated with beautiful works of arts and sculptures. The living room area is a great big space with giant windows that can be opened and marble bath tub and shower. I will be dreaming of returning to see our friend Frederico in Florence very soon. He has a kind soul and was very warm with us. Side note: our favorite restaurant was the Osteria Toscanella. Only a 5 minute walk from the space. Please tell Tony from the Osteria that Richard and Geraldine from Texas say “Hola”!!! Everyone made us feel at home.

Giuliani is a wonderful host who made us feel as if this slice of paradise was our home, too. The location, the meticulously restored home, the views all make for the ultimate Tuscan experience. But Giuliani and her husband bring it all together with their warmth and attentiveness. It was a tough place to say goodbye to — for now. If you are looking for a Tuscan experience, this is it. And remember to ask for the hosts’ home-cooked meal. It is a culinary experience in the very best sense.

Nous avons été de suite sous le charme de cette propriété. Tout ici compose l'image qu'on peut se faire de la belle campagne Toscane. Tout en haut de la colline surplombant la vallée, la vue y est splendide et romantique. La propriété a été renovée avec le confort d'aujourd'hui tout en conservant son âme d'autrefois. On s'y sent de suite bien, l'energie est bienfaisante, la nature, les animaux, tout est en harmonie! L'accueil, la cuisine d'Oscar, la superbe piscine, la terrasse ombragée, les petits-dejeuners copieux fait maison! C'est plus qu'un coup de coeur, cet endroit est une pépite! Nous reviendrons!

La casetta di campagna è bellissima e ottimamente tenuta. Facile da raggiungere in auto e posizionata in una zona molto tranquilla. Tommaso è stato gentilissimo, la casa era pulita e ordinata e c’era tutto il necessario. Consigliato!

We stayed here for a few nights and had a fantastic time! The views were amazing, and the place was very spacious and clean. Lapo was fantastic - really helpful, even picking us up and dropping us back off at the bus stop. We'd highly recommend!

Lola’s place was great, and an easy walk to everything, yet in a quiet neighborhood. The backyard is beautiful and peaceful when we wanted to get away from all the tourists. Lola was also the best host we’ve experienced thru AirBNB. She took care of a minor problem immediately and was always checking on us and giving us good recommendations. Highly recommend her place.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Daniela’s place - it was clean, had stunning views and was quick access to Pisa, Florence & Siena. Beautiful pool and lovely terrace with amazing views and sunsets. The kitchen also had everything we needed, including local olive oil and pasta & local wine as a welcoming gift. Daniela went above and beyond providing us with lilos and a pump for the pool too. Overall, 10/10 stay!

Traumhaft und ruhig gelegene Unterkunft im Herzen des Chianti Gebietes mit fantastischem Ausblick . Ein Auto ist unbedingt notwendig! Das Haus, der Garten sowie der großzügige Pool waren genial. Toskana Feeling pur. Christine und John waren großartige Gastgeber. Christine hatte tolle Restaurant Tipps und hat sogar die Reservierungen für uns vorgenommen (Somit waren auch immer gute Sitzplätze in den Restaurants garantiert). Wir waren einen Tag sogar in Ihrer anderen Unterkunft der „Villa La Petraia“ zu Gast. Die Zimmer waren sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und das Anwesen und der Ausblick auch traumhaft. Christine hat ein ausgesprochen gutes Gespür für Design und Einrichtung. Ein Design Hotel vom Feinsten. Ich hoffe bald wieder zu kommen.

Anna was a fantastic host, who treated us with the upmost respect and kindness. While her place is a bit difficult to find at first, once you're there, you're in one of the most beautiful scenes we've seen during our time in Italy. Also, it was close enough that we were still early able to travel into Florence each day we were there. Anna was so nice in providing us with breakfast each morning, which included apricot jam from her fruit trees and homemade bread. We would recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quiet place to stay outside of the busy city.

Ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt im Herzen der Toskana! Die Wohnung liegt traumhaft schön in der Natur – umgeben von sanften Hügeln, Weinbergen und unzähligen Olivenbäumen, die in der Sonne silbern schimmern und das Landschaftsbild einfach magisch machen. Die Aussicht ins Tal ist atemberaubend schön – man könnte stundenlang einfach nur dastehen und schauen. Der 28 Meter Pool? Besser geht es nicht – perfekt gelegen mit Panoramablick, absoluter Ruhe und einer Atmosphäre, die zur puren Entspannung einlädt. Was diesen Ort aber wirklich besonders macht, sind die Menschen: Jacopo, Sophia und ihre Kinder haben uns mit einer so herzlichen Offenheit empfangen, dass wir uns sofort wie bei guten Freunden gefühlt haben. Es ist einfach schön, solchen Menschen zu begegnen – authentisch, warm und voller Lebensfreude. Und dann war da noch Luba, die Schäferhündin – ein echtes Herz auf vier Pfoten! Sie hat uns jedes Mal mit solcher Freude empfangen, dass wir sie sofort ins Herz geschlossen haben.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à La Presura. L’endroit est beau, calme et paisible. La piscine est une gros avantage en ce mois de juin très très chaud. L’hôte a la réception était très gentille et le verre de vin offert à l’arrivée fut très apprécié. Nous recommanderons sans hésiter. Merci!

Wir waren nun schon zum zweiten Mal in der Unterkunft von Elisa und Alessandro – und es war wieder einfach wunderschön und absolut erholsam! Der Ort ist eine richtige Oase, in der man perfekt abschalten kann. Elisa und Alessandro sind äußerst hilfsbereit und herzlich. Sie haben uns mit tollen Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurants versorgt, sodass wir unseren Aufenthalt rundum genießen konnten. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Wir haben unsere 4 Wochen Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen ruhigen Unterkunft sehr genossen. Der Außen- und Poolbereich ist sehr gepflegt. Sollten im zweiten Appartement Gäste sein, kann man sich dennoch sehr gut zurück ziehen und die Stille genießen. Für Kinder gibt es genügend Spielgeräte die mit genutzt werden können. We absolutely loved our stay at this property in Reggello! The hosts were so warm and communicative—they greeted us upon arrival and gave us a full walkthrough of the home! The view was stunning, and the pool was beautiful and very clean. Aldo even came by each morning to clean it before we used it, which was such a thoughtful touch. Everything in the house worked perfectly—the Wi-Fi was fast, all the appliances and lighting functioned well, and we had no issues during our stay. The drive from Florence was easy (we had a rental car), and it made exploring nearby wineries and towns super convenient. We also LOVED their on-site farmers market. It was their own personal setup with wines, olive oil, jams, and other homemade goods -- plus fresh produce like eggs, garlic, artichoke, & shallots, which they generously offered free of charge. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic escape in the Tuscan countryside!
