Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Province of Siena

Before arriving, Stephano informed me in detail if we would get lost, and he also carried a heavy carrier. A welcoming wine gift warmed our heart on the table. He also gave us detailed instructions on how to get on the bus to Florence and the bus stop. He wanted to tell us anything. In the old farmhouse, everything is prepared like a house for family, not travelers. I took pictures of the fantastic sunset and scenery. When I go back to Seoul and get tired of my daily life, I think I will reminisce about this picture. And thank you for the gifts, Nicoletta.

Martina’s entire estate is very peaceful and extremely beautiful. Just remember that it is really off the beaten path. She was so passionate about the property and making people feel right at home. It was one of the more beautiful places we stayed in all of Italy. Make sure to bring food up there with you before going. It is at least 35 min to town, but this is one of those places it is almost not worth leaving. Wish we had more time to stay there.

We felt like kings of the castle in Stefano and Sylvias’s place. Top of a hill with expansive views and always such a beautiful breeze. San Quirico was lovely as was Bagno Vignoni at the bottom of our hill. We could see the twinkling lights of Pienza and Montepulciano both of which were an easy drive away. Generosity in the way the villa was presented and our hosts’ welcome, with many wonderful local suggestions. Would highly recommend.

Duccio was one of the best hosts we have encountered in our years renting with AirBNB. From the pick up at the train station to the drop off at the bus station he was as informative and helpful as any we have met. His house is in an extraordinarily beautiful location. The bedroom door opens to a small terrace. It was a wonder to have coffee in the morning surrounded by olive groves alive with birds singing and the church bells ringing off the old fort walls across the valley. The house is a short walk to the main sites and restaurants of the city centre. The kitchen is well accessorized and Duccio has left much reading material about Siena and Italy generally for guests to peruse. We had a remarkably restful and enjoyable experience at Duccio's accomodation. Highly recommended both for the host and the house.

Very peaceful and beautiful views from the rooms. Raffaella’s breakfast was very good and much appreciated! She gave amazing local food recommendations that are walkable from her house. She also helped us find parking in the city of Florence!

Can’t say enough about how great this house was! The views! The house is absolutely adorable! From a story book! Outdoor space was incredible! Loved making dinner in the kitchen (kinda made from local market which Sophia recommended which was amazing! I wish I could stay there for a week!!!

The house is located on Chianti which views to vineyard and olive yard, the most beautiful view for an airbnb. Everything is fully furnished, a lot of welcome foods and drinks. The hosts give clearly instruction and very responsive. It was a wonderful time spending our holiday there.

Great location only 2 minutes walk from the Cathedral. Accommodation is airy and well equipped with its own lovely garden giving you a great place to relax so close to the centre. Francesca was always available and made us feel very welcome. Have already recommended this property to our friends.

This was the absolutely perfect place! Everything was amazing from the view, to the balcony that sat 4 overlooking the piazza di campo. The place was extremely comfortable and uniquely decorated with all kinds of wonderful art. We got lucky to be able to watch the university of Siena graduation on our one night there and one of the contrade parade around the piazza the following morning. I would highly recommend staying here if you have the chance - I will certainly be back!

The place and the attention Marta offers are excellent. A good place to base yourself to visit Tuscany.

We are a family of five. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms worked perfectly. The magic of this place is having the absolute best view of Siena. It’s amazing. Sitting out on the balcony as the sunsets and the city lights up…. The location is also fantastic. Easy parking across the street. Very quick walks to outstanding restaurants. Our winery tour operator picked up right out front. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wow what a fabulous stay ! San Gusme and its surrounding area is beautiful and we felt so lucky to be able to stay in San Gusme itself . Elvira was super helpful and had great local recommendations for wine tasting etc .

Amazing location and beautiful apartment! Perfect for me and my friend! Very spacious and two bathrooms .. lovely stylish interior with beautiful windows looking out to the street of the Piazza. Very central and beautiful experience. Highly recommend :)

Location, Location!!! This is the most luxurious pull out couch experience you’ll ever experience in your lifetime!! Other reviews are correct, this is the most comfortable bed couch you will sleep on. If this isn’t a serious personal problem, dont worry, it could never out weigh where this Airbnb is located. Walking distance from everything. 15 feet from the apartment complex door from the most top rated “authentic Siena” cafe in the town. They will sell out by 9:30am. There is a lift/elevator to the floor of your studio, that should be used responsibly. Tight bathroom/shower but still spotless and wonderful. More table, chair, space amenity than 2-3 people could ask for. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, she had great communication. Easy direction and accurate address. And she had no problem meeting us at the Airbnb, even slightly early.

We enjoyed our stay at Francesco's place, the only downside was that we were a little to early to use the very beautiful pool, which we didn't expect. Francesco was busy cleaning the pool while we were there, and it is officially open for use only from June onwards. Fortunately we found a swimming spot at the river nearby, and other than the the place was great and Francesco was helpful and friendly.

We arrived a day early and Tatiana’s husband called a personal friend to get us a room. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness! I will be renting again from them for sure!

Really one of the best, if not the best, accommodations we have stayed in through Airbnb. As for the check-in, it was very easy, with the help of photos and videos showing how to access the property. The area was very quiet, with easy parking right on the street of the house. As soon as we logged in, we were greeted both by a delicious scent, synonymous with the cleanliness of the house, and by a bottle of wine and pastries (the check is not from all hosts to welcome their guests so well). The house is well stocked with kitchen utensils and various condiments. The only pity is that it is in a basement, but despite this we had a really great time!

Excellent accommodation, house as per photos and description, located in a very nice little village. Clean and tidy structure, Host always available for any information and kind.

A beautiful Agro tourismo right in the lap of nature…very close to the picturesque Pienza town and with gorgeous views of Tuscany rolling hills all around the house.. Bianca’s father met us upon arrival and explained us all the details about the house, his farm, olive oil making and the background of the place.. They stay on the first floor of the house and Airbnb is on ground floor… The house was built in 1576 and it was one of its kind of experience to be staying in it… The house is quite spacious and very well decorated. We stayed here for 3 nights and did 2 day trips - 1 to Florence and other to Siena ( a must visit place with marvellous cathedral and piazza del campo ) and picture perfect Chianti region.. Having a car is absolutely necessary as the place is 8-10 km from Pienza and public transport is minimal… Regards, Sachin

Wonderful place in Siena! We walked to all main tourist attractions, churches, and restaurants. We even walked to the train station (a bit of a hike, but not terrible - wouldn’t walk it with luggage though). The view from the kitchen was beautiful, the washer/clothes line was useful, and the bed was comfy! It’s a great place to stay if you’re looking for an affordable, quiet, and low traffic area.

Laura’s place was absolutely amazing, great location right in town. The coffee, snacks, and added toiletries were a perfect touch! Couldn’t have been a better stay and communication was great

Mirkos place is by far the standout for our trip in Italy. The view is just stunning and his placve has a very olde worlde Italian feel. Fits perfectly with the Siena vibe. Thank you Mirko!

Francesco was the perfect host very communicative and responsive when needed - the unit was spotless and nice decor - loved being in the little town walking to the 3 lively restaurants, grocery and coffee shop not to mention the fabulous vineyards that surrounded the flat - we did some wonderful walks and did side trips to cute little towns - Would recommend highly
