Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Queensland

Sadly only a quick one night stay but we loved every minute. Jacqueline has thought of everything and kitchen is well stocked to cook a great meal. We were happy sitting outside to eat & relax and enjoyed the butterflies & birdlife. Looking forward to a return visit, just needs to be longer. Thanks Jacqueline

Christine and Brad's place was as described and very true to the pictures. It has a superb position waterfront looking North with 180 degree views of the Whitsunday Islands and the Mackay Northern Beaches coastline as well as of superb sunsets. Communication was excellent with all queries answered almost instantly. It was also very simple to access the property with clear instructions. Everything we could need was provided and the facilities were quite luxurious. This house suited us admirably for a visit to family in Mackay as we rented a car which we recommend. Its location is less than half an hour from the airport. Christine and Brad do a great job as hosts both in the presentation of this accommodation and making us feel welcome.

The little red barn was the perfect little getaway we needed, it was peaceful and private, we had a great time there. There was everything we needed and the heated pool was amazing, its close to everything you need for a great weekend but at the same time its far enough away to have a relaxing time without the hustle and bustle of everyone else. I highly recommend the little red barn, you wont be disappointed.

Wow 🤩 wow, wow Absolutely perfect in every detail. A very rare back to nature experience with beautiful comfortable accomodation, your own private creek & swimming hole, stunning serenery magical garden, cassowary’s at the back deck, beautiful linen quality generous amenities… the host has thought of everything spectacular scenery right from your veranda (even at night with flood lights over creek) & SO peaceful. So lovely to see the love & care that has gone into this wonderful Airbnb … you won’t want to leave Five stars from us 🌟 We just Loved it 🖤 Thank you for letting us stay. Can’t wait to return again. Awesome Airbnb! We were only here 1 night but wish it was longer to fully appreciate everything it had to offer! We ended up cooking dinner in the kitchen and it had everything we needed. The location was great too, only a few mins away from the Montville stores and Palmwoods bakery!

First Air BnB stay so didn’t know exactly what to expect. Everything was made easy with good communication and quick replies. The apartment and rest of the complex is modern and well presented. Everything you could need and more is provided in the apartment and is well set up. The complex pool is advertised as heated, however was still well too cold for swimming in winter (this obviously can’t be controlled by host). Overall it was an excellent place to stay and would recommend booking if in Hervey Bay.

Neil place was astounding with everything provided to use the facilities at the complex. I would highly recommend this place for a romantic getaway as there is so many nice to visit.

We had a wonderful stay at Han's apartment. Right in the middle of everything, near to beach and well designed apartment layout. Super clear instructions, hassle free check in and a really beautiful apartment with great views. Han was responsive always. Great stay!

Great communication and flexible host. Location was great, beach front and just 25min from Cairns. Aircon and bed were good and the place was clean. My only recommendation would be not to have breakfast at the hotel, but somewhere else (not under the host control anyway)

Helen’s place is great if you’re looking to stay in the area. It’s spacious, clean, and very well equipped. She’s put a lot of effort into providing everything you’d need for your stay 😊

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay. The 2 bedroom apartment was lovely and had everything we needed and more. Rebecca made sure we had all the details we needed for a smooth check-in. There is a full kitchen, but if you're eating out it's a quick 5 minute drive to town. Tennis rackets and beach towels were also provided for guests. The apartment is on the top floor with a balcony and partial view of the pool, just keep in kind that it is stair access only. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We really loved the location of Sammi's place, super close to shops, beach front and restaurants/cafes. Plenty to do, but also a great spot to relax and watch the waves roll in. Everything was accounted for and we felt right at home as soon as we stepped through the doors. Definitely recommend this gem and will return!

I had a fantastic experience at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail really made it feel like a home away from home. We had a really good 4 night stay. Great location, walking distance to everything. Check in was easy, clear pictures on where to find the keys. Good accom if you have little ones as in the cupboard there were a bucket and shovel, scooters and boogie boards provided. The only downside was there was a smell that lingered around the whole time and no hot water the morning we were checking out so could not shower.

Perfect place for a couple getaway! Great location, close to the beach, shops, cafes and restaurants. We watched the sunrise and sunset from the balcony each day! Amazing views. Both hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. Till next time!

Great location wonderful home great value for money

a great place to stay without the busyness of Noosa, which is only a few minutes away . 3 minutes walk to get great coffee. Beautiful views. Good to be at this end of the national park as it as busy as the Noosa end.

Andrew’s apartment is amazing, and a great find. It is furnished modern and extremely clean, and has lots thoughtful extras in the kitchen and bathrooms. Any communications we had with Andrew were responded by him promptly. The location is quiet, yet very close to amenities. We would highly recommend this property, and certainly will look to rebook when we are back in Cairns.
