Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ragusa

Antonella and Geno went waaay out of their way to make our visit comfortable and convenient. The accommodation is beautifully maintained, spacious and well appointed. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Modica.

comme l’indique l’annonce , la vue est a couper le souffle, autant de jour que de nuit. le logement est top, atypique et étonnant, tres bien placé. Giorgio est tres réactif, de bons conseils. nous avons juste regrette de n’etre de n’etre resté qu’une nuit tant Raguse vaut le détour.

Imagine yourself sitting comfortably in an outdoor chair in the evening with a glass of wine in your hand, the mild summer breeze is caressing your hair, and you are gazing at the impressively illuminated cathedral in the upper town, and you feel wonderful. Then you're on Michele's roof terrace in the magnificent baroque city of Ragusa. A truly impressive walk takes you to the baroque lower town, and you return by bus. In Michele's masculinely chic, two-level apartment, you can cook in a fully equipped kitchen, enjoy a drink at the bar, or visit one of the typical Sicilian restaurants. We were surprised by the welcome wine and snack, as well as the excellent service from our host, Michele. He was truly dedicated and helped us even with difficult tasks. Michele is a five star plus host.

For us it was the perfect place to stay. Charming, well designed apartment with unbelievable views of Modica. The terrace was ideal to have a glass of wine in a quiet area overlooking the city. You will encounter more cats that people here, still, it only takes few minutes taking the stairs to be in the very center of the town. If we are lucky to come back, we will try to stay here again.

Ganz, ganz tolle Wohnung mit einem wahnsinnig schönen Blick über Modica und auf den Duomo. Innenarchitektonisch ein einziges Highlight, super schön, geschmackvoll und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Küche war enorm sauber und mit allem ausgestattet inkl. Kaffee, Gewürze etc. Es gab Handtücher, Bettwäsche und eine Waschmaschine inkl. Waschmittel vor Ort. Marcello war ein äußerst netter Gastgeber, der uns per Nachricht noch mit einer Reihe an Empfehlungen ausgestattet hat. Parkplätze gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Unterkunft. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich einzigartig und absolut zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!

Truly special. This cavernous little house dug into the cliff amongst the rabbit warren old town of Modica is one of a kind. The photos do not prepare you for the stunning view over the old town, burrowed into the valley below. The house itself is clean, functional and has what you need for a few days stay. Despite the raging heat outside, it stays cool throughout the day. Would absolutely recommend staying here for a memorable experience. Our check in/out was easy and hospitable, leaving nothing wanting.

Andrea went out of his way to help us. He met us at the suggested closest parking area and helped us with our bags and walked with us to the apartment. The location is perfect - down a quiet alleyway but an easy short walk to restaurants, cafes shopping and a large garden area. The accommodation is traditional and old but with all the modern features to make it comfortable. Andrea gave us local recommendations and was happy to help if needed. I highly recommend staying here. We had a fantastic stay in Ragusa!

Casabedda ist ein Traum. Perfekt ausgestattet, direkt am Wasser, zum Strand von Marina die Ragusa läuft man 25 min immer am Wasser entlang und durch den sehr hübschen Yachthafen. Ein Auto kann man direkt vor der Unterkunft parken,das braucht man auch zum Einkaufen und um noch andere Orte zu besuchen, z. B. Ragusa Altstadt (ca. 30min) oder Syracusa (ca. 90 min). Bis nach Catania braucht man auch mindestens. 90 min. Gianni ist der perfekte Gastgeber, immer gut erreichbar, spricht sehr gut Englisch und kümmert sich sehr um seine Gäste ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Seine Unterkunft ist der ideale Ort um mal für ein paar Tage die Seele baumeln zu lassen und Zeit am Meer zu verbringen.

Very lovely place in historic old town of Modica. Only 50m and 2 bents away from the main street. Therefore quiet, but very central. Equipped with everthing needed. Spacious. 3 balconies (2 small) one, so you can choose breakfast in the sun or the big terrace in the evening. Two bedrooms: master bedroom with a comfortable king size bed. Second bedroom with two more simple beds. Towels and bed clothes sufficiently available. Parking in the main street closeby (paid 6 Eur/day ) - about 300m away free street parking. A bit busy with parking, but managed always to find something. For access with luggage requires parking in the main street, about 50 m walk - about 10 m in height difference. The little effort is it worth - definitely. Kind host provided very useful information - precise how to arrive/access, nice restaurants and sight-seeing info. Modica is very central to reach several historical spots and the sea. Rudia is an excellent host, we had a perfect stay.

Salvatore is a great host in his apartment is in a wonderful location, walking distance to everything. His recommendations for pizza, restaurants and a granita are perfect. The view from the balcony is wonderful, it is protected from the sun and the rain so perfect on a hot day or a rainy day. The bed is comfortable and the apartment is a nice studio. The parking garage on the other end of the island is only 15 minutes away so this whole area is a cute concentrated and small beauty. Because you are in the middle of it all so it might be a bit loud, especially on weekends nights until the time the places serving alcohol close. Nothing earplugs and a white noise app can’t fix. I would stay here again absolutely. Thank you Salvatore!!

Soggiornare a casa da Minù è stata una piacevolissima esperienza. Federico e Valeria ci hanno riservato un'accoglienza calorosa; ci hanno assistito e consigliato su come visitare al meglio la zona; ci hanno salutato con un piccolo e gradito pensiero. L'alloggio è curato nei minimi dettagli, super confortevole e pulito. Ci siamo sentiti a casa! Il giardino d'inverno una vera e propria chicca dove trascorrere momenti di puro relax. La zona è tranquilla e consente di poter visitare agevolmente la suggestiva Ragusa Ibla. Notevole la possibilità di poter fruire del parcheggio a due passi dalla casa.

Le logement d'Eleonora est extrêmement bien placé avec une terrasse vue imprenable sur le duomo et l'autre versant de modica. Le logement est très vaste , avec un équipement fonctionnel . La literie est bonne . La rue au pied de la maison est un axe passant de modica alta et assez bruyante concernant les véhicules mais la chambre donnant sur l'arrière est calme . Nous avons eu la chance de venir lors des fêtes de St Georges . Eléonora nous a gentiment fait prêt de son garage durant cette période chargée en monde mais qui en contrepartie a entrainé le fait que la rue soit souvent fermée à la circulation ce qui a été un plus pour nous . Vous pouvez vous déplacer à pied dans tout modica facilement - bcp de marche mais c'est un des charmes de la ville- , superette et bon restaurant proche. Nous reviendrions volontiers dans ce logement

Die Unterkunft war wundervoll. Man kommt in die Wohnung und fühlt sich sofort wohl. Vor Allem die Aussicht ist ein absoluter Hit und hier kann mit Wein und Käse einen romantischen Abend verbringen. Auch wenn die Straßen für ein Auto etwas eng sind und man meist nach einem Parkplatz suchen muss, ist es sehr hilfreich, da die Unterkunft sehr weit oben gelegen ist. Abends macht man gerne eine kleine Wanderung, aber gerade mit Koffern lohnt sich hier ein Auto. Ich kann die Wein-Bar RAPPA in der Nähe sehr empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder

The pictures don’t describe the beauty of this place. It is a step back in time that you can’t get from most other places. If you want serenity and peace surrounded by natural beauty mixed with history, this is where you must stay. We did have the heater go out on us but this was not Francesco’s fault as the heater was brand new and he was quick to make sure we had alternative heat. It is very easy to get to any of the main cities from this place. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you for being a wonderful host Francesco!

Super accueil par pamela et son mari. On est arrivés tard et pourtant ils ont pris le temps de nous montrer sur la carte de scicli les endroits à visiter des options de restaurants. L’appartement est super ok à eu la chambre au dernier étage avec un super balcon. C’est confortable, spacieux, très propre et joliment meublé au cœur du village de scicli. On recommande vivement!

We spent a very pleasant 10 days at Salvo and his parents place. After exploring the beautiful surrounding towns, we were able to spend time in the garden or cool off in the sea, to which there is direct access. The hosts are very hospitable and helpful. An ideal place for a quiet vacation in Sicily.

I had a great stay at this apartment! It was very clean, comfortable, and just like the photos. The owner was easy to reach and always helpful. The only small downside for me was the bed—it was a bit too soft for my preference. Of course, that’s a matter of personal taste and what you’re used to, so others might find it perfectly comfortable. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place and would stay here again without hesitation!

We had a wonderful stay in Claudio’s beautiful and elegant place. The location was perfect for exploring Noto. Claudio himself provided lots of excellent information (Ristorante Manna a real highlight) and was always extremely responsive. We very much hope to be able to stay again.

They say perfect is impossible. Here Maria, the host, has achieved the impossible. The Airbnb is absolutely beautiful and incredibly clean. The view from the balcony was beautiful as well, we had a great time relaxing and looking out at the boats. Maria was incredibly hospitable, with a flexible check in and also providing information on the area. Thank you for the wonderful and unforgettable stay!

Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, mit drei Schlafzimmern, einem gemütlichen Wohnzimmer sowie einer voll ausgestatteten Küche. Das absolute Highlight ist die großzügige Außenterrasse mit einer weiteren Küche, Grill, Außendusche und sogar einer separaten Toilette. Zusätzlich gibt es eine zweite Terrasse am Eingangsbereich, perfekt, um den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen – was in dieser Jahreszeit besonders angenehm war, da es nicht zu heiß war. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt braucht. Stefania hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen, war jederzeit erreichbar und stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns bei ihr rundum wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Wir haben viele Ausflüge unternommen und lieben es, lange Spaziergänge am Meer zu machen – besonders empfehlen können wir Donnalucata. Auch die Städte Syrakus, Modica und Ragusa Ibla haben uns mit ihrer Schönheit und Atmosphäre beeindruckt. Wir danken Stefania von Herzen ♥️!

Perfect Spot Close to the Beach and Town We had a lovely stay in Marina di Ragusa! The location is ideal — just a few steps from the beach, and everything you need is within walking distance: restaurants, the marina, shops, and the town center. The apartment is well-equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with our little one. It’s compact but very practical and cozy. Just a heads-up: the apartment is located right by the main promenade, so the area can be lively, especially in the evenings. If you enjoy being in the heart of the action, it’s perfect! We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it for a fun and convenient beach holiday.

La casa è molto bella, pulitissima e in pieno centro. Ideale per visitare Modica e tutta la zona del ragusano. Unica accortezza per coloro che viaggiano in macchina è di parcheggiare lungo il corso e di non arrivare fino all'abitazione, in quanto si trova in una stradina in cui è difficile fare manovra. Per il resto la casa è dotata di ogni comfort e molto fresca in estate.

What a lovely stay at Ragusa! The place is very clean and a mix of modern with a unique Sicilian touch! Marco was always responsive and friendly, he was flexible with our check-in and we had no issues whatsoever. The apartment’s location is pretty handy, there’s many nice little restaurants around and some pretty walks. Walking distance from Ibla. Worth every penny! Thank you Marco, we will be back!
