Wonderful little studio apartment to stay in if you're in the area. Close to some lovely places and stocked with everything you need to live well. Sam and his family were incredibly friendly as well, always offering their support.

the appartement is the loveliest place to stay. we adored all the helpful Details in the kitchen and were so thankful for this experience because we Initially felt so comfortable. everything was perfectly clean and either way it is both possible to stay private and also be in more contact with the familie if wished. thanks so much!!!!

This is a 5 Star review. Lucy was the perfect host, and the cottage we stayed in was lovely. Very well appointed and stocked. Much better than others we have stayed in. Location is off the beaten track but its only 20 minutes to Kinsale and Clonakilty, where all the usual amenities and supplies are available. Highly recommended. Thanks Lucy & Andy

Our stay at Maureen’s place was truly unforgettable. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and it’s clear she puts incredible care into every detail. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a fairytale . The home’s unique gothic architecture and character created such a magical atmosphere. The bathroom was beautifully decorated. Easily the nicest I’ve ever seen, and the tub was absolutely dreamy. Maureen even surprised us with an extra room, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed (and more), which made our stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. She even ensured our 5 month old son had everything he needed! While the location might seem a bit off the beaten path, it turned out to be the perfect home base. The peace, charm, and thoughtful touches more than made up for the extra drive. I would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this stunning space to anyone looking for a special getaway.
