Háafell Lodge

Welcome to Háafell Farm where we raise sheep, keep horses and have one friendly dog. Our private guest house is located 200 meters above the farm, up the mountain at 130 meters above sea level. It is a recently built (2020), 100 square meter, modern “turf house style” house. Háafell means “The High Mountain” and has a long river that cascades down its side with several tiers of waterfalls. It is a five minute walk to our canyon and it is possible to take a cold bath in one of the waterfalls.

Mirror Cabin (Mystic Light Lodge)

Welcome to the breathtaking landscape of West Iceland. The mirrored vacation home is surrounded by untouched nature, is located directly by the sea and offers a fantastic view of the fjord and mountains. With a bit of luck, you can watch seals and sea eagles and many other birds right from the front door. Wooden, warm house for six people. Perfectly integrated into the lava field at the foot of the extinct GRABROK volcano, which you can enter almost straight from home :). Beautiful views and silence. Only the sounds of nature can be heard. An ideal place to observe the northern lights (no city lights). Just 300 meters from the main road No. 1. Fully equipped kitchen. Perfectly clean drinking water flows from the tap. The jacuzzi is already working :) There are bubbles and it's nice :) !!!

Thurranes cottage 3

The cottages at Thurranes are 43 square meters. Two bedrooms, each with a double bed and a sleeping loft that fits 2 adults. The house can accommodate 6 adults. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. The house is equipped with a kitchen, where you find a little stove, a sink, a microwave and refrigerator. The living room has a couch and a small TV set. A small bathroom with a shower. Hot water, central heating but no WiFi A private hot tub, chairs and a gas BBQ are on the deck.

Spectacular view over Steingrímsfjord and the island Grímsey. Lovely cottage close to Drangsnes. The cottage has two bedrooms, both have a double bed and a bunk bed over the bed. Six persons can stay in the cottage. Bathroom with a shower and washing machine. The kitchen is well equipped with stove, microwave, fridge/freezer and cutlery and tableware. The untouched nature and birdlife is amazing in this area.

The chalet is very new and very pleasant to stay in. Equipped with all the comforts to live there for several days, it is also very central for shopping. This is the perfect place to watch the Northern Lights.

Grund is a residential house that was built in 1929. Grund is very centrally located and close to nature. It's a short distance to many of Iceland's main attractions and beautiful hiking trails. Only a 90-minute drive from Reykjavík. The house has an 80 m² sunroom with a 100 m² deck outside, making it perfect for parties and gatherings. There is a playground in a fenced garden.
