Apartment holiday rentals in Reykjavíkurborg

This is definitely among the best Airbnb's I've stayed in, so much so I would rent this apartment myself if I lived in Reykjavík. It's absolutely beautiful, has everything you need, and the location cannot be beat (within <5 minutes of everything in Centre, super close walk to nearly everything else). Stefan gave great recommendations and went to the extra effort of dropping off extra soap / laundry detergent when he realized the Airbnb would be running low during my stay. Highly recommend!

Rubin was very helpful and has a great, comfortable place . The location is excellent. We loved the decor - so unique and stylish. Walk to everything in the city and and easy drive to all of the nature attractions.

We had an exceptional stay at this apartment over New Year’s. The property was perfect for us as a couple, offering everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. The apartment was very clean, warm, welcoming, and equipped with excellent cooking facilities, which made it easy to prepare meals for our sightseeing trips. Its central location was incredibly convenient, especially for navigating the roads and icy conditions as first-time visitors. The check-in process was seamless, and the host was a pleasure to communicate with—promptly answering any questions we had. Compared to the hotels and other Airbnb options we considered, this apartment exceeded our expectations, especially as a last-minute booking. Hlynur's apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable. It is well-located, being only a few minutes walk from the Bus Terminal and within easy walking distance of the centre of the city. I hope to return next year, when my partner should be able to come too.

Exactly what you need great location easy to find great communication

Location great..close to grocery , swimming pool and sone restaurants..but Reykjavik is easier traveled in a car although there is a bus system close to apartment. Alex is very responsive and his apartment is bright and spacious with a king bed that's comfy and chaise lounge sofa. Kitchen well stocked with spices etc.

Lloyd and Raggis place was wonderful. We were sad to only be there 2 nights. Lots of space and we walked into the main centre both days so the location was great. Lloyd was very welcoming and extremely responsive when we had questions. It is part of their home but a completely separate section on a different level, so you don’t come into contact with anyone :) thanks for having us Lloyd and Raggi!

Super responsive and allowed us to check in early! We loved her place, it had a washer/dryer and all the appliances we needed for our 2 day stay. I would recommend staying here!

We had a great three nights at Eggert’s apartment. There is a shopping mall nearby that has a Bonus grocery store inside where we found everything we needed. We also decided to walk the 2 miles to the city center, but there are bus stops nearby. We opted to take Hopp electric scooters back. Easy! All in all, comfy studio apartment in a great location, with a very helpful and gracious host!

We stayed here for a week. The apartment was very close to the shopping area, the church and restaurants in Reykjavík and within walking distance. The apartment was very clean and just like the pictures. The host was very responsive and friendly. Will definitely stay here again when we visit Iceland again!

We enjoyed staying at Ragnar's place. It was exactly as pictured and was great for getting around to all the sites. Ragnar is very kind and helped us when we had something go wrong. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had what we needed and the bathroom was very big and clean.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Ingi's flat! iIt was such a comfortable home base for us for a few days in Iceland. The location is the best -- walking distance to everything you need in Reykjavik, with the harbor and great cafes and bakeries right outside. The price was great, the bed was comfy, and the views out the window were beautiful. The bathroom was also nice. The building was secure and felt very safe. The towels could be a little softer but like most places in Europe, there's no dryer, so that's to be expected. Ingi was a great host. So communicative and kind. would recommend to anyone and would love to stay in the future!

We love our stay at this stylish apartment! Well equipped and super clean. Location is excellent with a supermarket at doorstep. It also has a spacious balcony with hot tub which is a rare find in the city center! Very responsive and helpful host. We will definitely come back for our next visit!

Fantastic location on a fun shopping street. The apartment is roomy and clean and perfect for our family of 4. This was an excellent place to spend a few nights. We would definitely stay here again!

Rósa’s place was in a great spot for exploring Reykjavik. This was my 4th time in Iceland and I have stayed downtown a few times, but usually in hotels. Her place has the great option of having things like a kitchen and private hot tub you wouldn’t normally find in a downtown stay. She was very responsive and kind throughout, appreciated the anatomy art and general vibe of the whole place. Thank you Rósa 🙏

A great stay for our first night. Instructions for cleaning were posted throughout the house (not our favorite for the actual stay, but helpful for checking out). Check in was very smooth.

Sloveig was such a wonderful host and really went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. The place was beautiful and comfortable in every way imaginable and super close to the city center without the crowd. Definitely a place I would want to come back to!

Beautiful private apartment with incredible host. The photos don't show the warmth and character of the apartment, with amazing little details and quality in every room. From the linen in the bedroom, the way the kitchen is appointed to toiletries in the bathroom, all made our stay so comfortable and relaxing. We were there over New Years and Anna gave us tips on the Northern Lights as well as some celebration treats as well as a welcoming drink. As a host we could not recommend more highly. It's location to local amenities was perfect and you could as easily eat out in central Reykjavik as you could go shopping and cook in. We hired a car but chose to use public transport to get around the city - the bus stop was only 5 minutes walk away and super easy. The Hot Tub was private in a lovely garden with our own door from the apartment. Overall we had an amazing stay at Anna and Skuli's 5 star apartment.
