Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Reykjavíkurborg

This is definitely among the best Airbnb's I've stayed in, so much so I would rent this apartment myself if I lived in Reykjavík. It's absolutely beautiful, has everything you need, and the location cannot be beat (within <5 minutes of everything in Centre, super close walk to nearly everything else). Stefan gave great recommendations and went to the extra effort of dropping off extra soap / laundry detergent when he realized the Airbnb would be running low during my stay. Highly recommend!

We had a perfect family vacation at Karitas' apartment! The location is excellent—within 15 minutes walking distance of downtown Reykjavík. The apartment itself is modern, beautifully furnished, and equipped with everything you need. Karitas was an amazing host, always quick to respond and very helpful with any questions we had. We highly recommend staying here and would love to come back!

We had an exceptional stay at this apartment over New Year’s. The property was perfect for us as a couple, offering everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. The apartment was very clean, warm, welcoming, and equipped with excellent cooking facilities, which made it easy to prepare meals for our sightseeing trips. Its central location was incredibly convenient, especially for navigating the roads and icy conditions as first-time visitors. The check-in process was seamless, and the host was a pleasure to communicate with—promptly answering any questions we had. Compared to the hotels and other Airbnb options we considered, this apartment exceeded our expectations, especially as a last-minute booking. Unbeatable location! 5 min to bus stop 1 which is a key bus pick up location for all trips and tours-- including the airport for back home. Extremely clean and exactly as pictured. Comfortable beds too. Would recommend and stay again!

We enjoyed staying at Ragnar's place. It was exactly as pictured and was great for getting around to all the sites. Ragnar is very kind and helped us when we had something go wrong. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had what we needed and the bathroom was very big and clean.

We had an extremely enjoyable and relaxed stay here for over a week. It's perfect for 2 people who are focused on seeing the sites of Iceland. A great location only 15 minutes south of Reykjavik and easy to jump on the road for day trip adventures. The view out the window of the harbor is wonderful sitting on the couch at the end of a long day of adventure. Then, if tired don't worry you have 3 nice restaurants very quick walking distances from you. Snaedis provided a thoughtful welcome basket and beers for us, 3 different times during our stay! We also had a grocery store just a minute down the road that made things easy. I can't say enough good things about the hospitality and highly recommend!

Fabulous property and perfect for our family of five. Very comfortable, we felt right at home, loved the furnishings and cozy beds. The location was very convenient to making day trips, close to groceries, and an easy drive to downtown Reykjavik. Nice views from the balcony, super quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

We traveled with an infant and since no one was using the place the day before, Hildur allowed us to come straight from our flight! It was so incredibly nice of them and my daughter appreciated the opportunity to catch up on some sleep. Overall, the place is beautiful, spacious, and had an incredible review. I’d recommend this AirBnb to anyone!

Hard to imagine it looking better than the pictures... but it was. beautiful, comfortable, amazing ambience.

Comfortable bed, good shower, nice patio if the weather had permitted. Good location for visiting the Golden Circle and South Coast. Grocery store very close.

Stay here just like home. Great area to live and very quiet. There are several supermarkets and restaurants around. Dagmar is very responsive and definitely a great host with very good taste for home!

A beautiful and peaceful place in a neighborhood of new construction, far enough away from the crowd and tourists downtown but close enough to get there in 20min by car when desired. Easy access to the Golden Circle. Was perfect for my family and having two bathrooms was particularly nice. Communication was always quick and excellent.

It’s ideally located for daily hikes and provides easy access to highways—great for exploring Iceland without the hassle of city-center traffic. Also a convenient drive to the airport! The apartment: beautifully designed, nicely furnished, efficient, and minimalist. It had everything we needed: cooking utensils, appliances, dishes, washer/dryer, and a handy air-drying rack (an eco-friendly touch we appreciated). The entertainment area was cozy with a comfy couch and large TV. The bed was a bit snug but still very comfortable. A great base for anyone visiting Reykjavík & Iceland for nature, comfort, and calm!

We stayed at Gunnar’s apartment for a week during our visit to Reykjavík. The location was good and pretty central to restaurants and attractions we wanted to visit. We did rent a car which made travel much easier and the parking was abundant and not too expensive. The apartment itself was clean overall although some areas had some dust. No complaints here, it wasn’t a big deal. Gunnar did advertise that the apartment house(d) two cats but as someone with cat allergies I had no problem with any fur or cat dander. FYI, across Iceland the hot water is heated geothermically which gives off a sulfur smell, so don’t be alarmed. Thanks Gunnar, for allowing us to stay at your apartment during the week! Ken + Jenn

The apartment was very spacious, clean, comfortable with a lovely view of the little harbor nearby. It provided my son and I with a base to explore many of Iceland's attractions using our car rental. Getting into the city takes about 12 minutes by car and around 45 minute by bus. We opted to cook at home since there's not a lot of restaurants nearby. Generally speaking this was a fantastic place to stay and made our whole week in Iceland stress free and relaxing. The apartment also has great water pressure and lots of warm water!

A perfect spot to crash and/or work with easy access to Reykjavik city and outlying areas. Would absolutely recommend and would look to stay again. Thank you!

This was a great place to stay during our time in Reykjavik. It’s very easy to get to everything the city has to offer, but it is far enough away from the city center to be a peaceful quiet place to stay. We had everything we needed and more here. I’m so glad we were able to stay here, and would highly recommend it!

We had a great stay at Unnur's apartment. It was a perfect base for our adventures around Reykjavik. The location was very close to downtown (10min drive), walking distance to the Sky Lagoon (highly recommended) and having free parking was a lovely amenity. The apartment itself was lovely - bright, clean and well appointed - and the host, Unnur was excellent - very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a nice quiet location just outside of the city centre.

This penthouse was the perfect location for exploring the city. The view from the balcony was gorgeous, the apartment beautifully staged and had every amenity we needed. Hilmar was a wonderful host who provided great recommendations from parking to restaurants. My favorite was Kol located on the ground floor of the same building. Hilmar left very clear instructions on everything we could possibly need and was so kind to offer us a late check-out. When I come back I would love to stay here again!
