We had a fantastic stay in The Bield. It's just as described, very clean and comfortable. Great location, with easy access to local amenities. Highly recommended!

We really appreciated the care and genuine hospitality offered by Clare and Panos. The space is down a few steep steps but once there the room opens and beyond is the garden. Extra’s like chocolates and continental breakfast in the fridge as well as lovely toiletries made our stay very comfortable.

My wife and I were initially attracted by the view over the Firth of Clyde. The apartment was very comfortable and cosy and not lacking in space. In spite of being on the main road, it is set back and the bedroom is to the rear, so very peaceful with a view over the back garden. The kitchen was fully equipped and stocked with more than a few basics to get you started. The supermarket is a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Patricia is a great host.

We had a lovely peaceful and relaxing holiday at Abigails cabin. The lovely welcome hamper was most appriciated and the kitchen well kitted out with everything we needed for self-catering and more, including a range of sharp knives which is often not the case in holiday accommodation. Abigail was prompt in responding to any queries we had which made for a better experience - places to eat, walk etc. There was also a folder of information about the cabin and local attractions which was a good help too. Loved the location within walking distance of Benmore Botanics and Puck Glen which meant we didn't have to drive anywhere to walk our dogs, and the big old oak tree behind the cabin was a joy - daily we saw red squirrels and a host of bird species. Having a veranda equipped with table and seating adjacent to the kitchen was lovely too. The site is clean and very well kept and the cabins far enough apart to allow privacy and plenty space to park. We would book again.
