Holiday rentals with a patio in River Eden

Had a lovely couple of nights here. Asked for recommendations for restaurant and takeaways before hand and both we chose were very good. Both Marcelle and Alan are very friendly, as are the dogs! mentioned we were staying for my husbands birthday and without asking banners were put up in the room. thank you. Will remember this place if we are ever in that area again.

Perfect little flat. Extremely well equipped. Everything seemed brand new when I was there. Central location. Spacious kitchen. Car park a few minutes walk away which is free overnight until 8am. Easy communication with owner. Very happy with it and would recommend.

Just had an incredible weekend break at Jenny's gorgeous accommodation. I have seen other reviews saying that the photos and description doesn't do this place justice and I totally agree. The lodge had everything we needed, was perfectly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The views from the balcony are breathtaking!! The location is so picturesque, peaceful and clean and extremely close to Keswick. We took full advantage of the gym, swimming pool, sauna and hot tub, which was a brilliant way to start/finish the day. Also highly recommend the White Horse pub, where I have eaten the best chicken burger ever! Jenny, thank you for the kind and thoughtful treats. We highly recommend your place to anyone!! xxx

Lovely place to stay. My partner had a lovely birthday weekend. The views were amazing, the bed was super comfy and the bathtub was incredible! We will definitely be back. 10/10 stay.

We booked this accom very last minute(3hrs before we checked in), and turned out to be a great choice. Having never heard of Whitbarrow Village we did not know what to expect and was very pleased to find this apartment was part of a larger holiday village complex. The apartment was very well kitted out and had all mod cons you would want, some cleaning products and tea/coffee bits,plus a nice outdoor seating area and close access to the pool and games areas. The main reception building was very clean and the pool facilities were fantastic as well as the kids games area & cinema room (9yr old with us). Only a 15 min drive to Keswick or Penrith made it a great location just off the A66 but so peaceful & quiet. Friendly on-site staff and well maintained garden areas. Overall a great little find and will definetly stay at Whitbarrow Village again.

Sarah’s place was home from home, very comfortable and nicely furnished.

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Primrose and appreciated that it had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing experience. The apartment looked just as shown in the pictures and is situated in a wonderful location. We would gladly recommend it and are looking forward to our next visit.

Thanks Karen for having us stay - it was a lovely little Airbnb in Cliburn. A really nice spot to go and explore the local villages around Penrith. Karen was a great host, really accommodating and response!

We had an absolute fantastic few days at Oak Barn celebrating our dad's 70th birthday with family. The hosts were so lovely and attentive and the place itself was gorgeous and in the most picturesque setting. Everything was as described and we were close enough to everywhere we wanted to go. This trip meant so much to us and Oak Barn and the hosts made it so special, even down to a thoughtful birthday card and goodies on arrival. We will definitely look to stay again. Thank you!

It was the perfect place for our trip. My friend, my dog and I felt at home in this cottage. There was a lot nice about it but there are some things that are more important to me so il mention those. The place was spotless, the owners made an effort to have small things like biscuits and milk to make our stay more comfortable, shower pressure was fantastic and the beds were really comfortable. The place is quiet so you get a good sleep to get ready for your hikes. Loved all the touristy info in the place which we really used! It was lovely to be able to bring our doggy! 🐶🐾🐾. Thanks for a lovey temporary home❤️

Had a fantastic 3 night stay here.. lovely and quiet but close walking distance to the town centre. Felt like home from home and had everything we needed! X

Leonys house is exactly ideal for our needs. Walkable to the town. Also not far in the car to wonderful countryside .The bath is a true pleasure. The place very tastefully decorated and clean. Wish we could of stayed longer.

We have just returned home from 4 nights at Julie's ex-guesthouse and we absolutely loved it. We were a group of 5 adults, a 9 year old and 18 month old and there was space for all of us. Each room has its own ensuite and the kitchen is well stocked. The whole place was very clean and the utility room is also massive which helps if you need to do any washing while staying there. We will definitely look to use Julie's place again in the future. Julie replied in good time to any messages and is very friendly. Highly recommend as a great place to get around the Lakes from too.

Our stay at Bowscar farm was a moment of peace and happiness. The accommodation is even better than the description and really comfortable, we had everything we needed. Pat and Neil are amazing hosts, always keen to help or to share recommendations about walks and restaurants. We couldn't have dreamed a better place to stay during our mini honeymoon. We loved the surroundings and the Lake District. We highly recommend the farm and will definitely be back.

This was our first visit to Alison’s cottage and certainly won’t be our last. It’s a lovely cosy place for 2 people in the heart of Bowness, just off the Main Street which helps the property to feel private and quiet. It was spotless and It had all the amenities as described with the kitchen having everything you need for a break away from home. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. There’s also an added bonus of a downstairs loo. The property was easy to find and the allocated car park space, which was very close to the cottage, was very valuable in a town with limited parking. Alison’s communication was excellent and she even catered to our dietary needs with some lovely treats. I would highly recommend a break at this cottage if you are staying in the area.

A lovely, cosy cottage that had everything we needed and made us feel right at home. We really appreciated the helpful welcome pack and extra touches. Jontti was great communication-wise. We loved our stay and were sorry to say goodbye to the Gamekeeper's Cottage. Hopefully we'll get a chance to re-visit again.

It was no surprise to us that our stay was pretty much perfect as this was our second visit; this time for ten nights. I honestly can't find any fault with our stay and, along with Tom, the others involved with the apartment were superb. It is the sort of place you always want to return to. Tom even managed to provide superb weather for us!!!! Everything about the place and location was perfect right down to the smallest details. I would unreservedly recommend this place to anyone. Superb!! I thought of one thing though. Tom, maybe you could provide some egg cups for old codgers like us ! Ha ha. Seriously though...a perfect stay in every way. Thank you

I like staying in Mary’s “cosy hideaway” so much I came back for a second visit. Both times I have found Mary to be a wonderful host and the apartment beautifully presented. Everything is clean and neat. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bathroom spotless and the bedroom fresh and clean. In short, I can’t recommend it enough!

What an incredible weekend. Adrian and Stefania’a place is just beautiful. The grounds of the apartment were private, peaceful and very green. The garden is well maintained and the annex itself was absolutely spotless. You can tell there has been a lot of time and effort put into making it such a beautiful home to make the perfect stay. Adrian and Stefania were very responsive if we needed anything but considering they had already thought of pretty much everything you could possibly need, we managed just fine. Will definitely be returning in the future.

The property was a home from home. It was absolutely beautiful with an amazing garden and view. The property had everything we needed. The hosts communication was clear and proactive leaving no uncertainty about what to expect. The surrounding area is beautiful and the property itself very peaceful. Would definately stay again.

A lovely modern apartment - it was clean and tidy with essentials (e.g hand soap, dishcloths, towels etc) as described. Beautiful view outside the living room/bedroom, perfect for sitting outside even if its raining since the table/chairs are sheltered. Fast wifi which was great. Communication with the host was great. The closest cafe is lovely too however if travelling without a car other restaurants are quite a walk or bus ride away (10-15 min drive). Lots of long walks nearby - we walked to ambleside via the hills and it was beautiful. One thing to note is the site is quite hilly but it's to be expected in the lakes. Would recommend 👍

We had a wonderful stay in the apartment. Very well equipped and great views of Ambleside from the living room and the Balcony. Bed was very comfortable. It was just a 5 minutes walk to shops and restaurants, but still away from the noise. Definitely recommended!
