Pet-friendly holiday rentals in River Spey

We stayed at Mackenzie House as part of a Hen weekend. The house was amazing and exactly what we needed! The surrounding area was gorgeous and we all loved being surrounded by the deer and other wildlife!

This property has everything you could ever want in a break away with family and friends. Quiet and secluded while still be closer enough to Drum for a night out or supplies. The house was really well done with a homely feel that set you at ease straightaway. Being able to relax by the river and having a huge garden to relax in were the highlight for me. But the best part of this trip was Kay herself. Full of local recommendations and very responsive, we never struggled for things to do. Also her little touches were fantastic. The best host I've ever had while staying in Airbnb's!! Would stay with her again in a heartbeat

What a fantastic find! The cottage was everything we were hoping for. Very clean and tidy. We met Rich while we were there and he was so helpful with recommendations on where to hike and explore! Tons of games for the kids to play. Absolutely stunning scenery with many trails just steps from the property. I just can't say enough about what an amazing time we had there. Many thanks.

We, a family with two children, found it very cozy in the house. The house is old and has been carefully renovated, so that it exudes a very nice charm and yet is modern.

If you’re looking to escape from it all for a couple of days, this is the place to visit. A charming and cosy cottage in the most beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Genuinely dog-friendly too; no long list of rules around what your dog can/can’t do. From exploring the estate to the local surrounding areas, there’s plenty to do. Our dog loved the Alyth Den walk. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Well, where do we start. This place was the country pace and experience we were looking for. We like the country, we don’t mind the things that come with it. Liz was kind, very intentional and the home felt like home. The bedding was very firm and we had a few stiff necks, but we were too busy having fun!

Loved staying here, it’s exactly what it says , enjoyed the wildlife and so quiet except for the beautiful stags behind the cottage which I enjoyed listening to in the evening and morning, Fiona was very responsive when we needed to get in touch.

Graham and his wife were lovely and welcomed me warmly. The cottage was tranquil, clean and I slept wonderfully well. I really appreciated the butteries and shortbread on arrival which was just what I needed after my journey. I’d recommend Gable Cottage given its quiet surroundings and easy access. It’s very well located for all the main towns and Gordonstoun school should you be visiting.

Was a pleasure to stay at Carols caravan and had everything we needed,everything from booking to departure was made so easy and caravan was so tidy and homely

Plain and simple, this was THE best air b’n’b we have ever stayed in. Everything about it. The location and the club and grounds are just beyond stunning. Breathtaking views. Between the back view of the highland club facing Loch Ness to looking over your shoulder to see Loch Ness, just amazing. The cottage itself while not a part of the main building was perfect. All the amenities needed and plenty of space for the four of us. Waking up to the snow on the lawn outside was beautiful. The hamper on arrival was so helpful for our 3 nights there. The board games, fire place and sporting equipment was great. The games room and especially heated pool inside was amazing to relax and look out to the snowy mountains. Honestly, was sad to leave and could have stayed there another week! Worth every cent. Our two kids were in heaven.

We had a lovely stay. The nature surrounding the property was beautiful and peaceful. The house itself was cozy and well equipped. I would highly recommend this place to anyone thats looking for a relaxing nature getaway.

Fantastic place. We stayed at Cottage 9. We had been to Highland club many times but this is the first time at the cottage. It is well worth it. Very private entrance and whole stay was very comfortable for four of us. Apartment was clean and well appointed. Car parking available next to the cottage.

This was a perfect spot for me and my work mate to stay whilst working in the area , 2 min walk to the beach and ideal for anyone doing the NC 500 or anyone with a family looking a for family seaside holiday ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a wonderful week at Lorna’s lodge. The weather was favourable, and it was the ideal escape from city life, letting us truly relax and feel at home. Our dogs had a blast on the walks and loved swimming in the Spey. The lodge’s peaceful location was just what we needed,Highly recommend.

Beautiful Airbnb! Great location to discover Scotland and enjoy all its beautiful nature. Great view from your bedroom window on the forest behind the cottage.. highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay very much, and it perfectly served our needs. It was very good to meet Matt, who was extremely helpful and a great deal of thought and attention to detail has gone into everything provided at the Croft. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Louise made this part of our birthday trip to Scotland special by writing us a birthday card and gave us a little gift! It was a very nice touch. We chose this place as it is close to a few of the hikes we wanted to do but it turned out to be a nice albeit quirky place to come back to and it had pretty much everything we needed.

this wee cottage is a hidden gem. the back garden views are just unreal, i couldve sat out there all day! jill was so lovely and responsive when we had a quick question, it was no issue for her. we wish we had longer there to enjoy the lovely space and surroundings, hoping to be back one day!

Our stay at Karen's place was wonderful for our time in Inverness! It was the cutest apartment, clean, and comfortable. Having the washer/dryer was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this stay. Karen was fantastic!

Thank you to Alison and Matt for the wonderful stay we had in Glenmore. They are great hosts with a wonderful home in a great location. We had a great time hiking in the mountains and coming back to a peaceful and comfortable home. We are looking forward to coming back and we would highly recommend Snowgate Cabin for everyone, and especially nature lovers.

We had a perfect stay at Roughstones. A warm welcome from Catherine and the most delicious cake! The views were amazing and we enjoyed relaxing in our own private garden. Inside was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished with comfortable seating and bed.The kitchen was very well equipped. Ideally located for us with visits to Scone Palace and Blair Castle.
