This is a really comfortable place to stay with a superb lounge and outdoor area for relaxing. Beautiful beach within easy access and lovely hosts. Would definitely come again.

Really enjoyed our stay at castle view. Eleanor was lovely and made us feel right at home. The location is convenient and an easy walk anywhere in town or to the train station. One thing I would mention is that the room is very compact. It’s got everything you need and is perfectly lovely but it is a bit of tight quarters. If I return to Inverness I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thanks!

We loved our stay at Jodie and Martin's place! Thanks to the clear instructions provided we got there without any issues but it might be trickier in the dark! Jodie's friendly welcome was great and she walked us through the room amenities. We were only staying for one night but the room was cosy, the kitchenette was very helpful for breakfast. We had a really comfortable and peaceful night's sleep and would return quite happily :)

The best accommodation we have found in the Highlands. The whole house is superb, fully equipped kitchen available, incredible bedroom, superbly decorated, very comfortable bed. We recommend 200% and would like to find accommodation like this more often.

The perfect little studio apartment in Aberfeldy I am a solo traveller and found everything I needed in this little cottage. Walkable to everywhere, great cafes and restaurants close by. The bed was comfortable, easy to operate shower, heated bathroom floor & a well appointed little kitchen. The cottage had everything I needed, but it was the little extra touches that made my stay so pleasant such as the pantry supplies in the fridge for breakfast/afternoon tea. I would highly recommend for couples or solo travellers. Exceptional hosts and accommodation.

The highland coo room is pretty nice and comfortable, the interior is designed with a lot of love by the hosts. The room itself is equipped with a very comfortable bed, a small TV, a nice litte couch and table and a private bath room with modern shower. In addition the room grants direct access to the garden with adjacent sheep and cow pastures, where you can sit a the nice little table and observe the animals during your own outside food. The shared space consists of a well equipped kitchen, a large dining table and a beautiful winter garden with some couches. Before we arrived we worried a bit that the location could be unclean due to other guests regularly checking in and out. But the host cleaned the common spätestens daily and everything was clean and tidy. The hosts themselves are really friendly and provided very good recommendations for hiking trails and other attractions. This was the best accomodation on our scotland round trip and we would stay here again definitely.

A great place to stay. lovely peaceful location and stylish. Great as a stop when touring the NC500. Beach fantastic for dog walks and we were lucky enough to see some dolphins.

This place is perfect for a couple. It's near beautiful nature but also near a town with all amenities (including a supercharger which was great because we have an electric car). Upon arrival, there was bread, fruit, snacks and more ready for us. Super friendly hosts. This place exceeded our expectations!

The place was great and Vicki was very accomodating to make 4 guys comfortable. Vicki is an excellent host, very welcoming and on hand to help (she even made us pizza dough) but didn't make us feel crowded. I would definitely go back

Great stay, lovely little place for a getaway. Good location for walking, with some nice pubs and a couple of distilleries within an hour or so walking. Would definitely recommend.

Briony gave me a warm and friendly welcome and showed me around. Good coffee, tea and fresh eggs were there as were all the essentials like salt, pepper and olive oil. The kitchen has pretty much everything you need. The bathroom, lounge and bedroom were all very clean and the latter two were really good spaces. I travelled alone as I was working in the area, but it's a perfect getaway for a couple. 10 minutes drive from Aviemore and around 25 minutes from the huge car park where you can start the climb up to Ben Macdui, which I did on the Sunday. I would definitely like to stay again in the future, as there will be many more places to explore from a place that felt like home.

We had a great stay at this cabin! It had everything you’d want in an Airbnb, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Isabel was a wonderful host and gave us excellent suggestions for sightseeing and local food, which really helped us make the most of our trip. Highly recommended!

A beautiful location in Inverness. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast, the need was comfortable, the pull out couch worked as expected, TV and Internet connection worked great, and the bathroom was just what we needed. Margaret and C are friendly and hospitable. It's a little far from the center of Inverness but public transit was great and we had no trouble getting around. I definitely recommend.

Squirrel Cottage is a very special place. It was cosy and warm, located in a beautiful part of Scotland with wonderful local walks, and one of the best equipped holiday lets we've stayed in. Masses of local information and ideas for days out. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with every item you could need plus essentials like salt, spices, sugar, washing tablets, tea bags and whatnot. Binoculars for watching the wildlife, guidebooks, local OS maps, even a writing bureau with stamps and postcards! Everything has been thought of, and you can tell that the owners have really listened to every possible suggestion and idea from past visitors. James and Katherine were kind and helpful, communication was excellent. The garden is beautifully kept, and the cottage really lives up to its name. If you want to see red squirrels (and all sorts of garden birds) then this is the place to be. The cottage is a good starting point for many day trips, and we enjoyed visits to Blair Castle, Cluny House Gardens, the Watermill at Aberfeldy, and long walks beside the river.

Graham and Natasha have truly outdone themselves with this stay, you will feel instantly like you are returning to long time friends in a cosy home. High recommend on the salmon dish for breakfast, and make sure if you have any questions about the area that you ask G&N as they'll be able to provide some great history, but also advice on what to do and what to skip. We had the most amazing stay, and feel we have made friends for life. if you get the chance, I cannot recommend this stay enough. Beautiful home full of beautiful peoole! I'll be back!

The annexe was perfect for a wee break away. It is surprisingly spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is so much bigger than many self-catering properties and there is a constant supply of hot water. The weather was good but it was cold outside in the evenings and at night, but the annexe was always cosy. As Carole points out in her instructions, this is so rural that the satnav doesn't take you straight to the door, but Google maps instantly recognises the house name so this isn't an issue. The view from the patio is fields as far as you can see and the setting is just so peaceful. The annexe has a lovely self-contained garden which, I should imagine, would be gorgeous on a warm, sunny day. Lunan bay is about 20 minutes drive and is a beautiful sandy beach and great for walks. Carole and her husband were friendly and helpful. If you are looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful to unwind, this is the perfect spot.
