Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Roanoke Island

We are repeat renters from Andy and this location as we love it so much. Being avid wildlife photographers we make frequent trips to the area and we check the availability first thing so we don’t have any issues with having a clean and perfect place to crash after a long day of capturing the local wildlife.

Wonderful place and very pet friendly. The location of the house on a beach access point/path was such an important benefit that I had not realized when booking the house (I did not know that there were specific beach access points and if you were not on a beach path, you had to walk to one and then head east to get to the beach) The beach cart and all of the beach accessories were terrific (shibuni, chairs, towels, cooler, beach mat, toys, bikes ect.) no need to pack/bring anything for the beach with you! Thanks for a great stay!

This place is perfect! Tucked away from the touristy areas, yet only 7 mins to beaches. House is kept in immaculate condition, even the garage was clean and able to keep my car in there. We loved that they left a pamphlet of their favorite places and we hit a few of them, and they were indeed awesome. If we head back to Duck, we will be booking Chloes Cottage again!

Comfortable, cute, and convenient spot in Manteo. Impeccably neat and tidy and perfect for myself and adult daughter. The kitchen has everything you could possibly want if you're planning on cooking for yourself. It sits right on the main road in Manteo, but wasn't too noisy. Andy was attentive and available and I will definitely be staying here again.

We were in Manteo for my daughter’s wedding. Staying at the Croatan Cottage made the whole experience that much more special. This house takes you back in time. Sitting on the front porch was relaxing. I loved that it was close to everything. This was our first time using an Airbnb. Dee made it very easy & stress free. I would highly recommend Croatan Cottage & plan to come back soon.

Great place for small family or two couples. Space was well decorated and cared for, very clean. Great fenced in backyard.

Excellent place to stat at OBX! Everything was as described. Excellent location close to plenty of things to do. Excellent hosts all around!

Misty's place was a great home away from home. It was comfortable and the home utilized the space well. We ate in for most meals and enjoyed the dining table that was great for meals and games. Our son performs at The Lost Colony and it was close by, so we enjoyed time with him and watching him perform. My in-laws joined us for Part of the trip and my other children joined us for part of the trip. It was a great home away from home with so many places to go nearby. Misty was so responsive and helpful!

We loved that we were able to walk to the beach and to the bay. Also loved the beach parking pass to give us the option to drive to the beach. We used the beach chairs, boogie boards and bicycles and all of them were fantastic! Very comfortable house, felt right at home there. Perfect house for a family to use. Also very helpful that Target, Publix and tons of restaurants were very close.

Dana and her co Host was amazing we had the best few days of vacation possible in the outer banks 100% recommend Dana’s place we will for sure be back next year and anytime we go to obx !

Our family had a great vacation. The house was beautiful with plenty of rooms and bathrooms for all of us!! The house is private but very close to the beach, dunes, restaurants and shops. Would definitely love to visit again!

This is an excellent location for the entire Outer Banks. Recommendations on things to do and places to eat were very good. The automatic lights for taking the dog out at night were perfect. Check in/out instructions were very detailed. Jenna & Tim were great hosts. Lots of amenities and great layout. Lots of fans, lighting and outlets. We would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. When we return to the Outer Banks this will be the first place we look for availability. The condo was tidy and as described. The kitchen was very well stocked with plates, glasses, pots and pans, and other cooking implements which was great since we cooked a lot. Having access to 2 pools was excellent -- we used them daily. It was very convenient to have a good restaurant and ice cream shop right across the parking lot. The beach access point was a bit farther than I expected, but it was still easy to get to. Over all we had a lovely stay.

We had such an amazing time here! She was quick to respond and the place was beautiful! The backyard was perfect for our toddler to play in and I really appreciated that there was a baby gate for upstairs. We will definitely be coming back!

The house was in a great area, really close to the beach and really spacious. Our hosts were really kind and responsive to anything we needed. I would definitely come back and stay.

Perfect location for us. Lovely view from her cozy porch and everything you need is right there. The restaurant at the marina was perfect for dinner after a day of fishing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kathryn’s place. It was the perfect location for our trip to the Outer Banks. We appreciated how dog friendly the place was - being able to rinse the dogs off in the outdoor shower was very convenient. Our hosts were kind and responsive, and we highly recommend this stay!

Perfect spot for the two of us and our dog. A reasonable drive to beach access. Fully stocked house for both man and beast. I would stay here again.

Amy made sure to communicate regularly from the moment I booked. She made all instructions very clear and when I reached out with any questions she was quick to respond.

Shane was a great host and his place was awesome. Great location, super clean, everything you needed for your stay was there. The hot tub and game room were added bonuses to the house. The fridge had a really good ice maker which helps at the beach. About a 7 to 10 minutes walk straight across to beach access. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Swimming and Boating over Memorial Day weekend! The house was spotless, well-stocked with everything we needed, and perfectly located—just a short walk to the beach with beautiful views. Debbie, was fantastic—she communicated clearly and thoughtfully throughout our stay, and even left us an amazing bottle of wine, which was such a nice touch. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Great stay. Annette and Greg were excellent communicators and their space was perfect for us. Very clean. Clear instructions. We’ve been both owners and seasonal renters in the OBX for years, this host and space is top notch.

Just a few steps from the beach, this place was the PERFECT stay for our little group. Four adults, a toddler, an infant, and a dog all stayed and we weren’t over crowded at all. The tile floors make clean up super easy and it’s within walking distance of multiple restaurants. We would love to stay here again on our next trip!

The home was clean and instructions were very easy to follow. Since we were looking for a peaceful location on this trip, it fit the bill. The view was worth the cost. We knew there would be others around, as it was described accurately and clearly as a condo community. Supplies were very sufficient for us, and the owners were responsive. Enjoyed this trip!
