Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Rochester

Perfect location about a 10-minute walk from Mayo, a grocery co-op, and a dozen great restaurants. Mei's place looked exactly like the photos and was spotlessly clean. Having a washer and dryer and fully functional kitchen was a great benefit for a week-long trip. I would stay here again.

Exactly as described: spotless, comfortable, and lovely. A high-ceilinged apartment at the back of the first floor of a house built in the early 20th century, still with its original woodwork. Because it’s at the back, there was very little street noise. In the summer with the windows open voices from the other apartments drifted in, but never very loud and only during the day. Just outside the bedroom window is a green space, almost a park, with two benches. Large kitchen equipped with all the basic dishes and utensils and a nice selection of pots and pans (look in the old wooden-door icebox). Spacious living room with two recliners and TV. Large bedroom with high-quality mattress, two dressers and walk-in closet. Soap (and shampoo) provided in both kitchen and bathroom, and plenty of towels. The location is excellent and the value outstanding. You’re half a block from the Groome shuttle stop from the Minneapolis airport, and three blocks from the main entrance to Mayo Hospital St. Mary’s. Half a block the other way are both the Reform synagogue and Chabad House. Note however that the east-west blocks are quite long. There are a few restaurants near the hospital and Fresh Thyme market is about a 15 minute walk. “Lime” electric scooters are ubiquitous and easily rented using the app. If you can ride a bike you can ride the scooter, tho managing the speed and the turns takes a little getting used to. Bring a bike helmet, or go down to Scheels at Apache Mall to buy an inexpensive one. There are also some electric bikes for rent. There’s an extensive network of bike trails along the rivers and to within a couple blocks of the mall. North of downtown you can rent a kayak, canoe, or paddleboat from “Silver Lake Fun.” If you’re here, as I was, because someone is suddenly at the Mayo Clinic, it’s really good to take a day or half a day and get outside! If you have trouble with steps be aware that there are about six steps to the private entrance in the back and three or four to the shared entrance on the side Bao’s communication is excellent and he responds very quickly. This was a restful, comfortable haven where I could cook for myself and relax during a stressful few days. I recommend it highly!

We loved this little apartment! Felt like home and great place to just relax after all the appointments and testings we had to do at Mayo. Would 100% rent this place again in the future.

Great location if you are visiting Mayo. Walkable distance from the hospital and also a supermarket within walkable distance. The room is spacious and the sofa in the living room opens up to two beds if needed. Host is extremely quick to reply on any messages. The building management team is also very helpful. I had an amazing time there!

Awesome place! We stayed for almost two weeks while a family member was at Saint Mary’s. It was so close, and saved us the stress and money of parking daily at the hospital. Britt was very responsive when I had a question, and provided clear instructions for checkin/out. Great experience, and would definitely stay again!

We recently completed a 3 month stay at this Airbnb, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The place was clean and decorated in a lovely, modern style. It felt fresh and new, which made a big difference for such a long stay. One of the biggest perks was the location. It was incredibly convenient, with close proximity to almost everything we needed. Most importantly for us, it was super close to the Mayo Clinic, which we had to visit frequently for appointments. The river was just a block away, which provided a lovely spot to walk and fresh air. Kris and Doug were fantastic hosts. They were incredibly responsive and attentive to our needs. Whenever a minor issue arose, the host came right away to fix it. It was clear they cared about our comfort throughout our stay. The Airbnb itself was well-equipped with all the gadgets and appliances we needed for an extended stay. We were able to cook meals easily and felt comfortable settling in for the long term. Highly recommended.

Becca's place was just as described. Super comfortable and open. In a quiet area off the road a bit. It was super convenient for me and had everything I needed for several days of cooking for myself and taking walks in the nearby Quarry Hill Nature Center. Nothing is far away in Rochester, so getting to restaurants and grocery stores was very easy. Would highly recommend and return again if I'm in the area.

We stayed at the The Cozy Blue Haven for 2 1/2 weeks. It truly felt like our home away from home. Erin and Jacob thought of every amenity to make sure our stay was comfortable. Erin was very friendly, responsive and so easy to work with. The location is perfect for taking walks. We were staying in Rochester for a wedding and lived at the Kottage for three nights. If you have up to 5 people in your party, it's a great space. Wonderful kitchen with everything you need. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom is clean and has a great shower. Very quiet and peaceful. If we ever find ourselves returning to Rochester (we're in Tennessee), we will definitely look into reserving this space again. Well worth the investment!

The house was comfortable, clean, and was the perfect place for us to stay for the night. We wished we could have stayed longer. We would definitely stay there again! Host was responsive and great at communication.

The bungalow was great. Barb let us have a family gathering to celebrate my mother-in-law's 85th birthday. The kitchen had everything needed to cook a family meal. Also, there was a high chair, which came in handy for our grandbaby. The location was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. If you love nature...this is a place for you.

For an extended stay, this home fits the bill. It is in a very handy location with restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, etc., only a few blocks away. The home is new & in a new area, where the properties are nice , very well maintained & managed. Allison, our coordinator did a very good job of answering our questions any time we called her . If available, we would definitely stay there again should we ever need an extended stay in Rochester.

Location was a close drive to the Mayo Clinic buildings for follow-up appointments. Nice linens and bedding and it felt clean. It had plenty of toilet paper, paper towels , dish soap and hand soap. The stacked washer and dryer in the master bath was very convenient. Only thing I would improve is it did not have a full size refrigerator, so I had to be very careful with what I bought at the grocery store. Other than that it had nice pans and dishes. I would stay here again.

The location was a .6 mile walk to the Gonda building at Mayo clinic. With the construction it was great. We didn’t have to find parking at the clinic. Kim was a very fabulous host in communicating. I would recommend staying there.

This home is adorable and was perfect for our family while we were in town for a wedding. The home is very clean and updated. It is walking distance to restaurants. Our host was very attentive and helpful when we needed. There is private parking for two cars. We were told we were welcome to park in the garage which would be helpful if you are visiting in the winter. There is a full bath on the first floor by one bedroom. The other two bedrooms are on the 2nd floor while the 2nd full bathroom is in the basement. It was really nice to have that 2nd bath with 6 people getting ready in the mornings. There is a washer and drier in the basement although we didnt use it. The home is down the street from the Mayo ER/trama center so there are helicopters. This was exciting for our boys who work in the industry and I was pleasantly surprised that inside the home it was so very quiet 💚 I love this home!!

We really enjoyed our stay in late March. Great views of Lake Pepin and the sunrise over the bluffs. Saw a number of bald eagles soaring past on the waterline. The unit is in great shape -- very new, clean and comfortable. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was well-appointed. The building seemed mostly empty and Lake City was very quiet -- much busier during the summer I imagine! Note that there is a busy road between the unit and the lake/river. Easy to cross and the noise was not too bad, just something to be aware of, especially if you're expecting peace and quiet while sitting out on the balcony. Hiking in nearby Frontenac State Park was fantastic! The National Eagle Center to the south is worth a visit too. Also, try the Nelson Creamery on the Wisconsin side! Overall, we were very pleased with our stay here.

We had a wonderful stay! The rental was clean, beautifully decorated, and spacious. We especially loved the rooftop area — a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view after a day out. The location is very walkable with plenty of restaurants nearby, plus family-friendly attractions like the interactive fountain, Hok-Si-La Park, and more just a short walk or drive away. A great home base for exploring Lake City and the surrounding area!

I have nothing but good things to say about my stay here! The location is absolutely stunning! The views of the water were perfect! The home is spacious, updated, and comfortable! So much light! The floor to ceiling windows make you never want to leave. Good local, very family oriented restaurants and shops in the area, most of which were walking distance or a very short drive. I felt safe, comfortable, and at peace here. I travel often and use hotels, airbnb, and other lodging options and this is sitting near the top of my list of locations to stay! 100% recommend booking at the flats!

We had a great stay with Jackie. We had easy walk to mayo clinic as well as many wonderful shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place and anyone staying here to check out the Old Rooster antique shop as well as Midwest vintage toys and the arcade all of which are basically right across the street.

Comfy bed, centrally located and good communication! We appreciated the electric tea kettle and tea! Had a great evening at RiverTime Wine Bar!

Everything was great, just what we needed for our stay at Mayo

I stayed here for a week while at Mayo Clinic. It was a wonderful place to rest and recover. The beds are very comfortable, the place felt modern, and it was way more convenient than a hotel room. Had everything I needed for the stay. It is downtown, so there are some downtown noises - the train, traffic, etc but that didn’t bother me at all, I knew this going into the stay. Also, stairs to get to the unit, again not a problem for me. Perfect place, will be back.
