Family-friendly holiday rentals in Roskilde Municipality

We had a wonderful time at this Airbnb. The house was very comfortable for our group of 6, with everything we needed. Beate was quick to respond to any questions we had. The fjord is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed kayaking and walking around it. Great location to explore the surrounding area as well as Copenhagen. Highly recommended!

Very cute cottage style home. I needed to find a place that was walkable to my dad’s house as well as the town and this was perfect. The location is also very quiet and private.

Sine’s summerhouse is was stunning and full of every amenity you could want. A very beautiful and relaxing place to spend a weekend.

It was a great stay since it is nearby our home. The fireplace is essential in winter but once the house is warmed up it is nice and cozy. I would also suggest staying here in summer to enjoy a beautiful and relaxing getaway outside Copenhagen. Would recommend this to my family again!

The wooden cottage is idyllically located on a steep slope over the sea. There are some neighbors nearby, who you can also hear. But since the grass was not mowed and was very high, you still felt mostly alone in the middle of a large meadow. The small wooden house was furnished with everything we needed. Actually, we don't like the shabby style. But the objects were not artificially made to look old, but really old and specifically selected. We enjoyed it very much.

When you see the pictures of this house and the view you assume it cannot possibly be this pretty. But is is. We couldn’t believe it. From the garden you can walk straight into a fjord. This place is by far the best vacation house we ever rented. The house is small but has everything you need. Get ready for some serious hygge!

We had most enjoyable time at Birgitte and Inge-Golf. Even before we checked in, they provided us with most helpful information about traveling to Oro. The place is cozy with everything you will need, with direct access to the beach. The sunset view is unforgettable and should not be missed.

Super Ferrienhaus !!! A huge property that reaches all the way to the water with a view of the Roskilde Fjord. Very quiet location, no dead neighbors. Very large Ferria house in the bungalow handle with magnificent views through the entire window front to the water. Everything at ground level and therefore well suited for wheelchair as one bathroom is large enough. Tip: Harbor city beach free Baltic Sea Hundested 24 min 24 min, Stængehus swimming beach 21 km 29 min, Viking ship museum Roskilde 30 km 30 min, land of legends ( Viking Königshalle Langhaus, shipping, medieval age) at Lejre 46 km 45 min, Copenhagen 47 km 45 min, Since the cottage is in the middle of nature, there are mosquitoes and sometimes a couple spiders in the house with the windows open. Battery vacuum cleaner is available ;-)

Christian was the perfect host for our 3-night stay. Our group of six friends felt wonderfully at home from the very first moment. Christian is incredibly kind, always available, and super quick with his responses, making everything easy and stress-free. Staying at his place didn't feel like a typical rental; it was like reliving that warm, friendly feeling of staying at a good friend's house when you're 20. We had a nice stay with baby and dog. Sören's house is a bit remote, by a lake. Very quiet. Exactly what we needed. The house has everything you need. It was clean. There is an open kitchen-living area and a bedroom. A staircase leads to another sleeping arrangement. The garden was mostly fenced. There is a grill and hammocks that invite you to relax. Copenhagen is about 30 minutes away by car.

We loved the place and felt right at home. A beautiful garden & cozy home with everything you need. A must recommend for peace & calm

Christina and Martin were very helpful and accommodating. Everything in the house was to your satisfaction and there were all the amenities you need. Had contact with them during the stay when we happened to make a mess with the pool cover but we got very nice treatment and they made sure there was a company and made it right. Highly recommend this house and nice host couple who took care of our holiday!

The house is truly unique on Airbnb, and we were fortunate to secure one of the rare time slots available. The house and farm are even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. Bjørn and his family were very kind and supportive hosts, making us feel welcomed and appreciated. We had a fantastic time exploring Copenhagen, Roskilde, and Helsingør, biking through the stunning landscape, relaxing by the pool, or enjoying the evening sun on the terrace. Even the little rain we experienced didn’t dampen our spirits, as we enjoyed the cozy and charming interior of the house. To be clear: we would love to come back!

As a family with 2 daughters, we had a great stay in Louise's beautiful home. Plenty of space in- and outside, a lovely cat and chickens made this a perfect accommodation for us. Everything was as described and seen on the photos. Copenhagen city center is easily reachable from the close train station, and there is a lot of nature around for hiking or biking. We even did a bicycle tour to Bakken, the world's oldest amusement park (ca. 15 km per direction per bike, with a beautiful route along the lakes and almost entirely through nature). Louise was very friendly and always there to respond to our questions. Highly recommended stay for a good mix of nature and city sightseeing.
