Gioacchino and Kinga's room is in an excellent position, in the historic center of Lercara Friddi. Simple and genuine as the owners who will welcome you like family. Gioacchino made us taste his wine and the products he produces on his farm, several times for lunch and dinner at his home. Truly a unique and repeating experience, highly recommended to all those who want to savor the VERA essence of Sicily. We will definitely be back!

Letizia's place was perfect for our trip! There were 5 of us in our group, and it was a good space for the couple days we were in town. Great location so we could walk to town and restaurants. The building is very safe and secure. The apartment was very clean and updated. Letizia greeted us on arrival and was very warm and friendly. She gave us a lot of information on attractions in town and places to eat some amazing food! Highly recommend staying at her place if visiting the area!

Congratulations. Letizia is a delightful person and an excellent host. They have been to her after the flooding days in western Sicily, worried about the road and the conditions we would have found in the area. It was a great help for everything, with careful and precise information. The house is a love, clean and warm. We will return to her with immense joy, even if only to go and visit her. He welcomed us with a cake made for us. A detail of no small consideration considering that he knew from a tiring day. The human aspect conjugated with the professional one makes her a perfect host.

It would take 6 stars to qualify the really incredible welcome of our hostess. We arrived on a stormy night (delayed plane, cut roads, floods, etc.). Letizia supported us by phone all along the route, offering a replacement route and even booking a closer hotel !!! She waited for us without sleep and without complaining until ... 2:30 am (for an arrival originally planned the day before at 21:30). I do not wish you to live the same night. But take advantage of the warmth and hospitality of Letizia, truly exceptional! The apartment is simple and functional. Very well situated as intermediate stage between Palermo and Agrigento, in a pretty hilly area.

Letizia is kind and helpful. The apartment is very clean, bright and located in a quiet and peaceful area but from where it is easy to reach the main roads. In the apartment there are all the comforts. I would definitely recommend a stay at Letizia's home.

Our stay at Patrizia’s apartment was wonderful. The apartment is fully renovated with a stylish modern decor and kitchen. The bed was comfortable, the towels were large and luxurious. Extra touches were included like bottled water and toiletries. Patrizia’s parents met us to check in and they were extremely nice and helpful. We were really impressed by the town of Caccamo which has a surprising amount of sights and history for its size. It is true that the bells ring every 15 minutes all night, but it didn’t really keep us awake even though we aren’t used to it. We are already thinking about our next visit here!

Patrizia deserves the title of Superhost. Available and attentive, he responds quickly to every request or question. He gave me several suggestions to make the most of my stay. The house is new, tastefully furnished, comfortable, functional and cleanliness is impeccable. You can easily find parking near the house and often even in front of the house.

We are delighted with our stay at Patrizia. We were very well received by his parents despite the late hour and we even kept a parking spot! The accommodation is clean, very well equipped and particularly warm, beautifully decorated. Patrizia was very responsive. A True Gem in Caccamo! We loved this Stylish, Modern, Super Clean & Comfy Home, filled with thoughtful & accommodating touches. It was the perfect place for our stay to visit where my grandfather was born & with much help from friendly neighbors it turns out he was born across the street from Patrizias home!! Patrizias parents met us & are the sweetest, kindest people ever. A big thanks to them for being so kind to us upon our arrival. Our brief stay in Caccamo was one I’ll cherish forever and thanks to Patrizia & her parents it was even better then expected. Caccamo streets are not well marked, so sometimes its hard to find things. people would came out & help us find places, say hello if we bumped into them later on & asked if we found places we were looking for. Several people actually walked us to where we needed to go. I swear, this town has the nicest people Ive ever met. Caccamo’s a beautiful town & I look forward to staying here again on my next visit. I highly recommend Patrizias place for your stay! Bonus: If your from Chicagoland area & visiting your ancestors homeland you will not be disappointed! Half of the town immigrated to Chicago & Chicago Heights early 1900s.Everyone we met had family or knew someone from here. They said we’re all starting to come back. I strongly encourage you to visit & support your ancestral hometown. You will not be disappointed.

Very nice house fully equipped. Patrizia's dad received us despite a late hour and even accompanied us to the pizzeria because we had not yet to eat. A nice little village!

It is a very nice traditional Italian cottage with a roof terrace with beautiful views of the valley. In the beautiful summer evening glow you can imagine yourself in a Sezanne painting. The cottage has a garden with all kinds of goodies. Almond tree. Delicious fresh figs..tomatoes.etc.

We had a wonderful time in Giovanni's cottage, the view is breathtaking, the air fresh and healthy. garden full of fruit and vedge ready to pick :-). we went for a lovely walk up to the castle of cefalà Diana. I highly recommend for a romantic getaway from city chaos and smog. our dog had a great time too :-)

I had a lovely stay at Giovanni's place. He was super helpful and the place is an absolute charm. I would definitely want to come back to experience different seasons and the lovely nature that surrounds the place.

Giovanni and Annachiara welcomed us superbly. The house is very nice with the terrace in the shade of the almond tree and the roof terrace which gave us nice dinners under the stars. Above the road between Bolognetta and Cefala Diana, just before the beautiful Arab-Norman terms and under the Norman castle of Cefalà Diana, the house is surrounded by a unique natural landscape worthy of the best western! The region is really nice to explore with small bumpy roads and stunning walks in the natural reserve of Ficuzza nearby. Ask for directions to Giovanni to climb to the top above the Ficuzza forest and an extraordinary 360 ° view on the interior and on the coast of Palermo is offered to you for a memorable sunset. Each village is a typical world meet. The house is very well appointed with 2 large bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 kitchen and a beautiful living room. Everything is there, the real authentic Sicily. Very available for check-in time

Small house in a pleasant quiet village, which lives to the rhythm of the local population. The location allowed us to visit the surrounding cities (palermo, cefalu, arrigento) and to enjoy nature for a few hikes. The house is cool, despite the heat outside, very clean and well equipped. Not to mention the breathtaking views of the valley and the swallows. Everything has gone well and we recommend this accommodation. Access requires a handy car because the village streets are narrow and a little quirky.

Mr. Guglielmo is the hospitality made in person: friendly, caring, ready to give advice and make you feel like you're at home. The house is located right in the center of the village. Cleaning is impeccable. The 70's decor in the room is fantastic. In a nutshell: if you pass by Roccapalumba, you cannot stop at it!

Delightful apartment in the middle of a rich and well-kept nature. Kindness and absolute availability of the landlords, both father and son. It is located a few km from the town and from the equipped area of the lake: Caccamo and its lake are charming places and the apartments are the ideal place to spend a totally relaxing holiday.

The house is great! A relaxing place to enjoy some time with people you go with. 10 minutes away from Caccamo and you can reach the restaurants and supermarkets

Gorgeous panoramic views. Fruit trees, garden, plenty of room. However be aware of the $20 charge a night after 1 person for each person every night. There are plenty of washers for clothes and they furnish so much more after you explore the kitchen. The grocery store, Despar has all you need and the meat counter you will not believe. The Kittipighy bar serves you pretty much dinner with every drink order across the streetfrom the Despar. Enjoy the views.

The house is wonderful. Giuseppe offered us the chance to stay in a brand new house from which we could see the castle. Beautiful garden and very clean house. Excellent dinner suggestions.

Really a house as you expect in Italy. With citrus and olive grove a pizza oven and a long outdoor dining table. Delicious!

Super location close to everything and quiet Perfect with children!

Giuseppe's house is a true oasis! The house has a beautiful and refreshing garden, there is also an orchard, all the plants, flowers and fruit trees are taken care of with great care and delicacy by Giuseppe. The house is located on the outskirts of Caccamo, a perfect place to relax and unwind. It is a perfect space for families with children, as there is plenty of space to play and the pool, being elevated, is very safe. Giuseppe is a great host, always attentive and available.

Giuseppe and his son were very helpful and friendly! The gave us lots of local tips and the house was in a lovely location near the historical and cute town of Caccamo. We recommend them very highly!

I would really recomend this location. Pietro and Ivana are excellent hosts always ready to help during our stay. The room is located in the heart of beautiful old city. I love the interior design of Pietro's house, everything was perfeclty clean and organized. Breakfast on the terrace that is placed on the rooftop was a great expirence. We can enjoy the view of the city and mountain landscape and amazing Italian coffee!

The room we stayed in has everything you need. Ours was a very short stay, but we still had the opportunity to appreciate the availability of the owners. We highly recommend Pietro's accommodation!

Great place to stay. Everything for breakfast was nice and tasty. I am highly recommending this place if you need to stay in the area. 10-15 min drive to Termini with amazing view on the mountains.

Our room was one of several rooms, similar to a B & B. The room was sparkling clean and very nice and modern. Pietro took our time at half past seven in the morning, and prepared us a really good breakfast with cappuccino, fresh fried eggs, fruit, croissants and juice.

We stayed in Cacamo at Pietro's for 6 nights. The rest was wonderful. The owner met us at the station in Termini Imerese, drove to the house, all showed and told. We lived in a separate spacious room on the second floor, we had our own balcony and a spacious bathroom next to the room. Pietro and Ivanna cooked Breakfast every morning on the terrace overlooking the mountains, the ancient castle and the city itself. They advised us what beaches, places and restaurants to visit, and one evening they invited us to bake pizza together. The house is clean, cozy, 10 minutes walk from the castle and the bus stop. Nearby there is a shop, a fruit shop.

New and cosy appartement in the heart of beautiful village of Caccamo. Pietro was very nice and he also gave us directions for the best restaurant after our late arrival. He also prepared us delicious breakfast in the morning! :) Pietro, thanks for your hospitality !

A super nice setting just for two in this beautiful Sicilian countryside

Beautiful place in the middle of nature and beautiful sunsets! It's the perfect place for a little getaway or digital detox (don't worry, there is great wifi too, if you don't want to disconnect from the world). The apartment has everything you need and the pool is refreshing! Anne and Doug are lovely people, who are there if you need them. You will feel welcome all the time! We had a great time and will come back for sure! Highly recommended!!

Anne and Doug picked us up at the meeting point in Caccamo. Together we drove to the house in ten minutes. Due to the location a car is necessary. The small house is basic but fully equipped, and is located at their own house with a swimming pool, private terrace and beautiful views of Caccamo Lake. On arrival there was a board with snacks and some cold drinks, a very sweet gesture! The three sweet little dogs come to watch every now and then. Anne and Doug were wonderful hosts making us feel very welcome!

Well what can we say! Anne and Dougs house is amazing! It is in the middle of the most beautiful mountains, near a lake. Anne and Doug met is in the town and then we followed them in our car to the house! The road to the house and windy and has a few pot holes but after you’ve done it a couple of times you get used to it. When we arrived they had stocked the fridge with a cool beer and some essentials! The house is only 10 mins drive from the local town of Caccamo which is beautiful. We visited the castle and went inside which was great. Anne and Dougs house with pool is breathtaking. The views are amazing and it was so peaceful! You don’t hear anyone or anything other than the wildlife around and the odd cow or goat or sheep! It’s really a paradise in the mountains and the perfect place to relax! We brought some pool inflatables with us and enjoyed laying in the pool on our inflatables every morning before venturing out for the day. I really was perfect. The house itself is perfect - we cooked ourselves dinner a few times using the kitchen and the mezzanine bed up in the roof was so cute but also very comfy. They also have 3 beautiful dogs - Bertie, Bessie and Bella - they are so friendly and loving. Bella especially took a liking to us and would wait for us every day by the gates for us to return from our day trip. When we came in to park the car I would open the gates and tell her to sit and stay and she would wait beautifully for us on the steps until we had parked the car and closed the gates. She was a joy to be around. The dogs don’t come into the house though, they wait outside and are often with Anne and Doug but we enjoyed seeing them when they popped down to see us! There are some lovely little towns nearby and great restaurants which are easily drive-able. We went to Cefalu a couple of times for dinner and also walked around the shops and town. It’s in a great location to be able to visit the north coast and all the lovely beaches - if you want less crowded beaches then try “mazzaforno beach” and “sant ambrogio” beach - both were beautiful but quiet - unlike Cefalu which was busy! A very lovely accomodation, excellent views and built to relax. The pool is very very nice, and i loved the fact that Anne and Doug's 3 little dogs where wandering about every now and then :)

Stellar host. Stylish location.

We were lucky enough to be able to stay at this beautiful home for a month. It is by far the most well stocked and coziest place we have stayed! The town is beautiful and quiet, and the locals really took excellent care of us. Everyone was so friendly, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the views all over town were amazing. The kitchen is excellent - we really enjoyed cooking, and there are great spots to buy local produce and meat (you will be well fed for under ten euros/day). The bus to the train was very efficient and timely - easy to get to other places in Sicily (for example, the beach in Cefalù was about a 15min train ride). Tanya and Franco were incredibly responsive and helpful with anything we needed. Our time at Tanya’s was restful, relaxing, delicious, and very comfortable - Airbnb perfection!

Tanya's house is my favourite stay in Italy and I want to stay here for a month next time. The kitchen (with some condiments) is great for a cook and there is a shop close by with fresh produce. It's stylish, I love the floors which i think are specks of different coloured marble. There was wine and grapes and you're greated by a nice man, Franco. The town had a gathering while I was there so I was fortunate to try the best organic cheese. The surrounds is a quaint stone village with mountains and a lake. Tanya's home in Caccamo is perfect for an authentic Sicilian experience! Both Tanya and Franco are extremely responsive, sweet and helpful. We used all their recommended tips and our trip was so much better because of those very tips. The apartment is incredibly cute, comfy and clean. It's centrally located in town and a short drive away from beaches, bigger cities and nature. All of the amenities at this spot were a lifesaver (laundry, AC, Wifi, parking, etc), so that's definitely an added plus. If you're looking for an authentic experience, this is the spot to book! I HIGHLY recommend :)

My husbond and I had a very pleasant stay in Casa Barca in July 2019. The house is nicely renovated with respect to the local style and a womans touch. Well equipped and with high standards of decoration and hospitality we really felt welcomed in this great house. The house itself and the location gives a fantastic atmosphere for lovers of real italian life. Our best recommendations of the house, which we will use next time we come to Sicily.

It was a such pleasure staying at Casa Barca. The first thing I noticed was the breathtaking view from the kitchen balcony when I arrived at the townhouse. I met Franco the property manager at his office as instructed, conveniently located close to Casa Barca. Franco escorted me to the Airbnb. A nice bottle of wine and some fresh fruit welcomed me to the place. It was greatly appreciated as I didn’t have time to eat after my flight. Franco showed me around the townhouse, and made some dinner recommendations. The house is within steps to the major historical sites, such as the cathedral and stunning castle. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided in the house, including much needed air conditioning. I will definitely stay here again when visiting friends in Caccamo. I recommend Casa Barca to anyone traveling to Sicily.

Ennio along with Salvatore were great hosts. We had an amazing stay. The house had everything that was required. Both Ennio and Salvatore were quick with their responses and gave us good suggestions to places of interest. We really appreciate Salvatore's help. We would definitely consider going here again.

Always my pleasure. The warm and always helpful nature of Ennio is indescribable. We arrived one day early * holiday stress when booking * and Ennio came extra from Palermo and organized everything for us. The area is rural and mountainous. All sights are easy to reach. We had a great stay at Villa Paola.

Beautiful location

We - me and my four kids - really enjoyed our stay in Guiseppe's Villa. Loved the house, the outdoor space, the garden, the swimming pool and the views over Monte Calogero! Highly recommended.

We spent four nights at Giuseppe's house. The accommodation is large, the rooms are comfortable. The outside is very nice and allows for lunch and dinner outside. Caccamo is nearby by car. The pool allows you to cool off.

The house is close to Caccamo but in a quiet location and immersed in the greenery. The garden is very spacious and well cared for. You can eat in a large, enjoyable and enjoyable terrace. The owner is very welcoming, everything is in excellent condition, nice, comfortable, clean. In the morning, a delicious coffee prepared by Pietro awaits you. The view of the town is very beautiful. A very good place to stay for at least one day is the beautiful cathedral, which is more beautiful inside than in the cathedrals of Palermo.

Giuseppe’s beautiful apartment has a great view of the Caccamo castle and is steps away from the restaurant “A Castellana” with its perfect wood-fired pizza for dinner and Bar Royal which has exquisite pastries for breakfast. The apartment is very quiet and comfortable, and a Giuseppe is a great host! We enjoyed our visit to the castle which is remarkably intact and filled with well-interpreted stories.

Caccamo is a beautiful mediaval time village a bit remote to the typical places, I can recommend very much if you do not look for too much action. Our apartment was nice and quiet, if I had more time I might prefer the neighbouring apartment of the same owner instead though, due to the nice terrace view on the castle and old town in front. Do not miss to park down close to the "Caffee Royal" parking area - my navi guided me through the old town, funny experience if you have a small car ;)

Giuseppe’s place in Caccamo is fantastic. The view of the castle is incredible and he is extremely hospital as is everyone in Caccamo. It is a perfect place to explore a medieval town and relax. Peppe’s place was exactly as advertised and better. Peppe met me once I arrived and made sure I knew how to find the house. I highly recommend working with him! Ci vediamo presto!

We were upgraded by Giuseppe who housed us in a beautiful little apartment with a terrace facing the castle. He gave us a very good restaurant address. It is a professional who has a network of vacation rentals, this may seem less charming but ultimately the service is top (interior fittings, cleanliness ...).
