Because of the convenient location to the A9 and A72, excursion destinations are easily accessible. Ideal starting point for destinations in northeastern Bavaria, southeastern Thuringia and impressions at the former German border. We also welcome guests in transit, hikers and cyclists. Breakfast is possible.

Our apartment is located in the beautiful Saale Valley below the Burgkhammer dam and in the immediate vicinity of Burgk Castle. Relax in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere surrounded by greenery. Apartment F Enjoy the Franconian Forest. In our newly designed, barrier-free apartment, you can expect a place to stay where you can enjoy your vacation in a completely relaxed way. Your dog is also welcome on the fenced, 1600 sqm garden plot. Wi-Fi, sauna, hot tub and table tennis are available free of charge. The pool and sauna are exclusively available for you. Free parking is also available in the fenced property and in front of the garage.

Alte Bäckerei - Old Bakery Center Saalfed Design

When master baker Hans Lange settled here in Saalfed in 1546 with the secret Nuremberg gingerbread recipe, no one could have guessed that his business would continue for 19 generations. We, as the 20th generation, cannot bake as well as our ancestors, but we would like to welcome you instead to our former bakery shop and thus continue the family tradition in a slightly different form. Barrier-free apartment in our single-family house in rural idyll in East Thuringia near the Saale dams, the Plothener ponds on the A9 exactly between Berlin and Munich. The Saalfeld fairy grottoes, the Leuchtenburg near Kahla, Jena, Gera, Weimar are not too far away. Here you can hike (the roads are also wheelchair accessible), watch animals or simply relax on the terrace. Infants up to 2 years old and children up to 6 years old are welcome.
