Large Cévennes cottage: llamas, sheep and their river

Old silk factory very nicely renovated into a large gîte (500 m²) that can accommodate up to 16 people (in times of pandemic but is equipped for more than 20) in the southern Cévennes. At the bottom of the valley flows a stream on the edge of which llamas and sheep graze quietly. This small river hosts several waterfalls and swimming pools. A large swimming pool for the chilliest guests will allow you to spend wonderful moments in this Cévenole nature setting.

This old 16th century watermill is located on the outskirts of the town of Saint Hippolyte du Fort, at the foot of the Cevennes. Surrounded by vineyards and the Vidourle river, but still within walking distance of all amenities and the cozy center. The house is suitable for 4 to 6 people, there are 2 2-person bedrooms, possibility to add a crib and a comfortable sofa bed in the living room. Formerly a newly renovated priory, the farmhouse is surrounded by 2 hectares of parkland and vineyards. Bicentennial trees, a waterwheel, a pine forest and an orchard will charm you. Great place to recharge your batteries, come with family or friends or for a seminar. Our family lives on the property (Our house is at the north end of the building) the tenants live at the south end of the building. As a result, parties and (loud) music are forbidden.
