The grounds the cottage are located in are surrounded by a large moat which contains unprotected deep water. Unsuitable for young unsupervised children.

Close to the Poitevin marsh (20'), 15' from the Mervent forest, 45' from La Rochelle, 5' from the city center & 1 hour from the Vendée beaches.

Take a break at our place (we live on site) between the Marais Poitevin and the Gâtine in a longhouse of 3 cottages in the countryside. Guests can relax by the communal pool or walk along the surrounding paths. Rainwater is used to power the toilet, electricity is produced by the sun, some of the furniture and dishes comes from refresheries and many other things to limit our ecological footprint.
