Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Salzburg

We had a wonderful time at this location! The place was perfect for enjoying the warm weather and was also well-equipped to keep things cozy when it got chilly. Everything was very clean. Parking was easy, and the location was convenient—close to a variety of attractions. We’d definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay. We appreciate the privacy of the house, it's an ideal stay for families with small kids. I hope we can come back again one day!

A quiet, peaceful, comfortable cottage near a small farm, the place has a lot of charm and a rustic feel to it. You can see the Austrian alps from the living room window. We felt very safe and secluded here, and there’s ample room for 1-2 cars. Josef and Helga, our hosts, made us feel very welcome right from the start. The village is walkable, and offers a couple of restaurants and a live theatre, and is less than 1/2 hour drive from Salzburg and all that this lovely, historical city has to offer. Whether your interests are hiking, history, museums, castles or even a 500 year old salt mine, this home in Holzhausen is a great place to stay.

Wir, 5 Freunde, die zum Sporteln hier waren, wurden herzlichst bei der Unterkunft empfangenen. Die ruhige, idyllische Lage ist ein Traum! Auch das alte Bauernhaus ist ausgesprochen charmant und blitzsauber. Dank dem schönen Wetter konnten wir auch draußen frühstücken und nachts den Sternenhimmel genießen. Danke Elisabeth und Familie für den tollen Aufenthalt. Wir kommen sehr, sehr gerne wieder!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel right at home. The house is fantastic for a family and Roxana is an incredible host. she had arranged our public transport tickets that allowed us to catch the bus from the end of the street into Salzburg. She also surprised our 10 year old with balloons and decorations upon arrival for his 10th birthday. We loved our stay at Roxana's house, it was amazing.

If you are looking for peace, quiet, a beautiful view, a beautiful apartment, a feeling of home and the owner of the apartment who answers every question immediately, this is the place. Mimi took care of every detail in her house. We felt like home down to the smallest details in the rooms, bathrooms, kitchen. The apartment is designed for a family with children who need to cook. The kitchen has everything. Good location, close to the lakes and all the attractions related to nature and water recreation. Highly recommend.

Die Unterkunft war tiptop und wie auf den Fotos. Der Ausblick ist ein Traum. Von der Bundesstraße ist es nur ein kurzer Weg zur Unterkunft, die gut mit dem Navi (Google-Maps) zu erreichen ist. Ein Problem, das wir hatten, konnte zu unserer Zufriedenheit mit Hans in kürzerster Zeit gelöst werden.

The couple hosted us with smiles on their faces, place is amazing and surpassed 5 star hotels, amazing area and surrounding, what caught my attention is the attention to details everything is super clean and little pieces of furniture and house needed materials are everywhere, this place can be a standalone home for anyone. Definitely visiting again if we have the chance It’s worth mentioning the couple were responsive at all times and during check in they waited for us, also during check out we had a great chat and they helped with the luggage

Alexandra is friendly host. We stayed 2 night, location is great, just 1 hour to Salzburg or Hallstatt. Place has private covered parking. Everything went fine

A fabulous apartment on a farm with a garden porch facing stunning views of the Alps. Starting and finishing each day on the porch enjoying these views was so peaceful. This spacious apartment has everything you may need for a short or longer stay. A very comfortable bed. The host is very friendly and helpful. One of the loveliest Airbnbs we’ve had the pleasure of staying at. We’re hoping to stay again for longer sometime soon and explore further this beautiful part of Austria. Highly recommended.

Très bel appartement, conforme à la description, spacieux et très agréable. Lubica est très sympathique avec plein de petites attentions, boissons dans le réfrigérateur, petits chocolats et gâteaux au dernier petit-déjeuner. Lubica nous a très gentiment changé les couettes car le temps était devenu plus chaud. Nous aurions aimé plus parlé avec elle s'il n'y avait un problème de langue de notre côté. Nous recommandons chaudement cette location.

The place was exactly as described spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed yet quiet and peaceful at night. The host was outstanding responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was smooth and enjoyable. I genuinely felt at home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free, cozy, and welcoming place to stay!

Wir wurden herzlich mit angeheiztem Kamin und gekühltem Bier empfangen und haben direkt super Tipps für die Umgebung bekommen. Anreise und Abreise war unkompliziert, alle Fragen wurden direkt im Vorfeld oder zeitnah beantwortet. Auch alle Fragen zwischendurch waren unkompliziert zu klären. Die Wohnung war sauber und es war alles da. Lediglich die Küche und der Wohn/Essbereich war für 6 Leute etwas klein, durch das gute Wetter konnten wir aber auch gut nach außen ausweichen. Gerne wieder!

S’il était possible de mettre plus de 5 étoiles ⭐️ nous le ferions. Marius le mérite amplement, présent à l’arrivée et au départ. Nous avons pu échanger quelques mots, recevoir une magnifique attention de sa part et bénéficier de ses suggestions quant aux lieux à visiter aux alentours. Concernant l’emplacement, il est idéalement située, le balcon permet une vue imprenable sur les montagnes environnantes. Aucun bruit ne se fait entendre, c’est le lieu idéal pour quiconque désir se ressourcer! Merci

Last minute geboekt en bij toeval beschikbaar. Prachtige villa van alle gemakken voorzien, vloerverwarming in de woon/eetkamer, heerlijke sauna en ruime jacuzzi, goede bedden, vlak bij de piste en op 12 minuten rijden van Katschberg höhe. Met 8 volwassenen en een kind van 7, meer dan voldoende ruimte. Ook aan te raden in het voorjaar, zomer of herfst seizoen. Wij komen in ieder geval nog graag een keer terug.

Our stay at Roman’s. Was great. 😊 it’s a big home with plenty of room. The pool was fun and the place was nice and clean!! Roman was a great host and responded to questions very quickly!!

Ein Traumhaus in Österreich wie man es sich schöner nicht wünschen kann. Alles war perfekt! Das Haus und der Service waren den Preis mehr als wert. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir hatten Anfang Mai 2025 einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Landhausvilla von Angela, Joy, Klaus und Tequila (dem Wachhund). Wir sind mit sechs Personen (Oma, Opa, Mama, Papa und unseren erwachsenen Söhnen), sowie unserem Familienhund Blixa angereist. Die Landhausvilla hat einen besonderen Charme, ist sehr hochwertig und vollständig ausgestattet und alle Räume sind supersauber vorbereitet gewesen. Alles was wir für unseren 2-wöchigen Aufenthalt benötigten, war vorhanden und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. An den kälteren Abenden haben wir den gemütlichen Ofen angefeuert und z.B. auf dem großen TV im Wohnzimmer gemeinsam den ESC 2025 geschaut. Wir wurden von Joy mit einem österreichischen Schweinsbraten und Feuer im Kamin sowie im Ofen begrüßt ! Da sich nicht nur Tequila und Blixa gut verstanden haben, hat Joy uns drei Mal ein wunderbares Abendessen gezaubert. Das war wirklich toll ! Für uns das perfekte Ferienhaus und wir können dieses Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen !

Perfecte locatie en zeer mooi verblijf. Perfect voor een skitrip, hou er alleen rekening mee dat je kort moet rijden naar één van de nabijgelegen skistations, en dat dat skibus niet meteen in de straat voorbijkomt. Maar als je een auto hebt is het allemaal perfect te doen. Zeker aan te raden!

Für viele Gäste mit Haustier (Hund) perfekt geeignet. Eigenes Haus und Gartenlaube, bei schönem Wetter sehr schön. Aufladen von E-Auto mit Wallbox sehr einfach und direkt beim Vermieter zu zahlen. Mitten in der Natur, sehr ruhig und sehr schöner Blick ins Tal, die Berge, auf den Dom und St. Johann. Die Küche ist mit allem was benötigt wird ausgerüstet.

Anna was a wonderful host and we had a brilliant stay at Haus Moosberg. The views over Gmünden were stunning. The house is spacious and they provided everything for our little boy (high chair, cot ect.). The shower rooms are small in comparison to the rest of the house but this didn’t put us off. Definitely recommend to others.

A casa está localizada ao pé das montanhas. Lugar maravilhoso, muito silêncio e uma vista que é um encanto. Colchão é travesseiros muito bons. Próximo a mercado e padaria. Estando de carro, muitas cidades próximas que podem visitadas diariamente a uma distância entre 40 minutos e duas horas. Não há secadora de roupas, somente lavadora e por ser uma região que chove muito, fez falta a secadora.
