Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in San Giovanni La Punta

We had a great stay at this very central apartment. Everything was as described in the advertisement, super clean and well equipped. Even coffee and milk for the first morning were provided, very thoughtful. As also her recommendations for the neighborhood were. Just as previously mentioned the apartment was a bit hard to find in the beginning because the sign next to the apartmentdoor changed. But some really nice locals helped to find it quickly.

Amo La Sicilia!! The perfect apartment, for a perfect holiday. The location was spot on - just off Via Etnea; a few minutes walk from the sights of the city, supermarkets and a tube station (one stop from the train & bus station hub). The apartment itself was lovely and worked well for our family (young children) despite all the steps! Clean, not cluttered but nicely furnished and decorated and well stocked for self-catering. Neighbourhood was lively in an evening, lots of bars and restaurants, but it didn't impact our stay at all. Final shout out to Marco our check in and out host, who was friendly, polite, flexible and very helpful. Really appreciated his warm approach and communication. Would certainly recommend this apartment and host for people thinking about staying in Catania. Thank you for making our Sicilian holiday a family experience we won't ever forget!

Had a great time staying at this air BnB, Paolo was quick to respond to any questions, the place was up a steep hill but very close to Main Street and worth the climb! Everything was clean and well provided, I would recommend staying here!

Luca was an excellent host, communication was excellent throughout and he even provided me with tickets to the Taormina international film festival one of the nights of our stay which was a terrific bonus. he also allowed us a late check out which was very helpful. We had a wonderful time! Alessandra is an amazing host, always responsive, very kind and helpful. Flat was amazing, it had everything we needed and way more, and the location was very close to both the train station and the city center (cca 10min walk). Thank you Alessandra for everything! 🩷

This place is absolutely gorgeous. The house is divided by one door to make it easy to use air conditioning in half of the house and the other half without. Meaning that while family is sleeping in the bedrooms the other family could easily be enjoying the living room with the fresh breeze from the sea. I want a condo like this one. There are 3 separate air conditioners. One in each bedroom and one in the living room that can convert to another bedroom because of the sofa sleeper. Don’t try to use all three air conditioners and the oven at the same time. There are limits and it only makes sense. All beds were soft and comfortable. We did have an extra key if we had to split up to go shopping or use the pool. The pool is a plus here because there are a lot of rocks in the nearby beaches and vendors harassing you. The town is a 5 minute upward climb but my 85 year old mom with no mobility issues was able to walk up and down for a straight 5 days, often twice a day.

A little gem right in the heart of Catania! This place couldn’t have been more perfect for what we needed it for - a comfortable and central stop off for one night. It was amazingly well kitted out, with details like water in the fridge, loads of kitchen amenities, and even a bunch of really useful Sicily guidebooks! It was super clean and check in/check out couldn’t have been easier. We were also so pleased with the location, the perfect jumping off point for getting out and about - and despite its position next to a busy street, you can’t hear a thing upstairs. This is the second time I've stayed at this accommodation and I really like it. Martina is very kind and thoughtful. The house is warm with its thick walls and vaulted ceilings. Everything is there and impeccably clean. The mattress is of good quality. The location is great, close to historical sites, while offering exceptional tranquility. It's wonderful to be close to everything and to be able to relax. I can only recommend it and I can't wait to be able to enjoy this place again.

My family and I loved our stay at Anita’s place! The apartment looks just like the pictures and is in a fantastic location, extremely close to restaurants, bars, shops and the cable car. Although you can hear people at the nearby restaurants in the evening, they didn’t disturb our sleep and I personally loved hearing people having fun. In addition, we couldn’t hear any noise at all when we were in the second bedroom. We had a rental car and parked in one of the garages outside the medieval gate and took the free shuttle back to the gate and walked to the apartment from there. It was quite easy and not troublesome at all. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay at the appartement. We really enjoyed the beautiful balcony and the nature all around. We even got nice fresh fruits out of the garden!

The place is well ascetic, but everything you need is there. However, you'll need to buy your own tea, coffee, laundry supplies, and other everyday supplies that many homes have. So for a longer stay is fine. The location of this is great. Very close to Piazza del Duomo, supermkarkets, train station, bus station, everything is in the walking distance. A cabin on its own gives you a nice privacy and cozy stay.

Feels like a small slice of typical, peaceful, Sicilian life, just by the busy tourist town of Taormina. The steps are really something (as they’re clear about in the description) but completely worth it to have the most incredible view. Also on the way down, it really takes no time at all to get straight into the middle of everything. The house itself is spacious, clean and comfortable. Alessandro and Graziella are such amazing hosts and people, they are around to help with whatever you may need. Thank you both so much for having us, it was lovely to meet you!

So already the apartment is beautiful, we feel good, very warm, everything is there, we lack nothing. In addition Isidoro is a charming host, very friendly and very good advice … too bad we couldn't stay longer to get to know each other better☺️! It adds a "plus" to the place. Fantastic host and Grazia’s husband was so helpful on arrival. The apartment was spacious and spotless clean. Beautiful sea view and location was brilliant. Everything was within walking distance and accessible on foot. I would definitely recommend this place to stay. Host was very communicative. throughout

Our stay here was absolutely amazing! Alberto and Giorgio were so helpful and Giorgio was kind enough to pick us up from the station and drive us to the location. He also took us around to the local restaurants and bars and introduced us to the locals. The place was also lovely and very cosy and Castelmola was so beautiful to explore! Would definitely love to come back again.

Very nice accommodation, the terrace is a dream and we felt very comfortable. You have everything you need.
