Kid-friendly holiday rentals in San Marco, Venice

Marina was an amazing host. The place was right in the center of everything. Everything was very clean. My only complaint is that she said walk right into apt from street level. Didn’t mentioned elevator because it sounded like You walked right into. We had to drag six huge suitcases up 15 narrow stairs. Besides no elevator it was perfect

We loved the place! Charming and well appointed and mostly perfect location. The roof terrace made it the most perfect!

Wonderfully quiet and quaint spot in Venice! Easy to walk to all the sites and loved being right on the water with access to the water buses and airport shuttle. The space itself is so lovely and beautifully decorated. Highly recommend!!

This stay makes 5 weeks we have spent in this Airbnb. I can honestly say there is nothing I would change about it. Everything you could need is provided and everything works like a charm. Great location near the Biennale, but away from the tourist crowds. Marco was very friendly and responsive. Would recommend to anyone going to the Biennale or a quiet place 10 mins from central Venice

Our stay exceeded expectations – the accommodation was even nicer than in the photos, clean, and very comfortable. The location was perfect: close to shops, bars, and restaurants, yet quiet enough to relax and get a good night’s sleep. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily come back:)

This was a fabulous place to stay, well maintained and a great location. 10 min walk to Rialto Bridge. Spotlessly clean. Barbara and Paolo were super helpful, happy to provide recommendations and responded to messages quickly. Apartment had everything you would need to cook. We used local bars/restaurants.

We had a fabulous stay in Venice! The apartment is in an amazing location and we loved the terrace overlooking the canal! The space is perfect for 2 couples, with large bedrooms and two separate bathrooms. Rita sent very detailed access instructions and organised water taxis for us which we really appreciated. Highly recommended 😊

Alice has the best Air bnb i have stayed in! Very clean and modern with cold AC (AC is critical in Venice during the summer). Alice was helpful with directions and checking in and even provided lots of food and area recommendations. Cant recommend this place enough!

We absolutely loved our stay in Venice! The apartment is in the perfect location, just steps from shops, cafes, restaurants, and the water bus line. It's tucked away in a peaceful, quiet spot with stunning canal views from the windows. The space was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, with A/C and plenty of thoughtful amenities. We were able to come back between adventures to cool down from the summer heat, take a quick break, before venturing out again. Very convenient! Our hosts, Paolo and Luciano, were wonderful. They were clear, detailed, and responsive in all communication. They answered all our questions and made everything easy from start to finish. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Alessia was our host and she was great. She did a nice job communicating with us and was very friendly. She met us at the apartment to give us our keys and to show us around the apartment. She also booked a water taxi for us at the end of our stay to take us to the airport. The kitchen was well equipped. It had an espresso machine with some espresso cartridges for our use. There was also a bottle of bubbly and a large pack of cookies waiting for us when we arrived. The apartment had a beautiful view of the canal and was in a nice neighborhood. It was in a great location with a short walk to all the major attractions. The bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of storage space. The bathroom was nice. We stayed in several hotels and other Airbnb’s during our vacation and this apartment was our favorite place to stay.

Francesca’s place and Francesca were beyond fabulous! We felt right at home in the apartment. Francesca was absolutely lovely and helped answer questions and gave us great recommendations while we were in Venice. My daughter, who was studying abroad in Florence, decided to come to Venice for a night. Francesca did not hesitate to accept her to stay in the apartment and even had people come in to make up a bed for her. We were beyond grateful. If I could give this airbnb more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Grazie, Francesca - our stay was perfect.

We enjoyed the apartment very much! The location, the old building, the canal right at our front door, the patio in the back, the easy walk to almost anywhere, quieter area than the main tourist sites - all of it made for an enjoyable and memorable stay!

Place was very very close to the main plaza and look just like the photos, it was clean and had lovely surprise of having some small packets of nutella, strawberry jam and cookies to eat with some coffee… Overall very good, only recommendation to the host would be to give some maintenance to the air conditioning since we didn’t felt it could reach the cold levels one wants yet it did freshen the room so it was fine. Martina is also very responsive and helpful.. she helped us book a private taxi boat to give us a tour through the canals.

This was one of the nicest Airbnb’s I have stayed in. It was spacious, clean and the bathroom and kitchen area had modern fixtures. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Nicolo left a variety of snacks and drinks which were very much appreciated. The location is very convenient to the popular sightseeing locations, yet it is in a quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend renting this apartment to anyone.

Our host Irene was very communicative and helpful in sharing ideas and helping us navigate to and from the apartment. The place was nice in great area. Irene also was available for questions and patient with things and explaining Venice. It is a well equipped place. And the help of arranging a taxi to and from the apartment worked very well in Venice.

Watersdoor was the highlight of our Italian honeymoon! At the start of our stay, Maria and her daughter were very friendly and greeted us to show us the way to the condo. Upon our arrival, the candles, mini bottle of champagne, and rose petals were such nice touches. The condo is beautifully decorated, clean, and has all that you need for a stay in Venice. The washer/dryer came in handy as well! Maria provided excellent recommendations (e.g., restaurants, transportation suggestions, sights, special events in the area, etc.) throughout our trip. Maria made our honeymoon a memorable experience and we are very grateful!!

We booked because another guest's review said "just go for it" and I would offer the same advice to others. We had a great time enjoying coffee & wine on the terrace while watching boat traffic on the Grand Canal. Although there are Vaporetto stops nearby, we walked almost everywhere we went and it was great to explore the neighborhood. For a quiet night in, stop by Fried Land (just around the corner) for excellent take-out pasta.

Great place to stay for our family of four. Convenient to so much of Venice. The hosts were incredible. They offered to assist with transfers from the train station and to the airport, one of which was at 4:30 in the morning. They were super helpful and it took a lot of stress out of the travel for us. Highly recommended and would absolutely stay with them again.

Monica and Alessandro’s place exceeded our expectations even with the great photos and amenities. One of the best rentals we have ever stayed at for a family of four. Very clean, spacious, and comfortable (+ great AC). A lovely private rooftop terrace overlooking the unique Venice cityscape. You could not ask for a better location for visiting Venice. We walked to the majority of our sightseeing destinations. Even so, a water taxi is just a few minutes away to see the rest of Venice which made for fun and easy excursions. We really appreciated Alessandro meeting us personally upon our arrival, helping to get us checked in, and explaining some of the rich history associated with the apartment that made our trip even more immersive. We also appreciated that Monica arranged our transfers from the train station when we arrived and then to the airport at departure. They were super responsive throughout our trip. Perfect Location!!! We enjoyed our stay at Venice at Lucia and Chiara's lovely homey apartment! The location is perfect as it is at the heart of Venice, next to Rialto bridge, water bus stop, great restaurants and shops, and close to all the other attractions. Lucia provided detail and easy directions and instructions of the apartment and always quick to respond. Apartment is very spacious for us family of 4, canal view from the second bedroom, well stocked kitchen, and very clean bathroom! Highly recommended!
