Villa holiday rentals in San Sebastiano al Vesuvio

From the moment we arrived Luigi and his family were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. On our first evening we were given 2 enormous freshly baked pizzas. Most welcome after a long day travelling here. As a party of five adults we stayed for two weeks and glad we did. The views from the Terrace were amazing, with spectacular sunsets. From the large deck and pool areas you can quietly relax and enjoy views of the sea or mountains. At meal times the fabulous gas Webber BBQ was greatly appreciated. Inside the rooms, there were some charming, decorative features which added to the ambience of the property. A large open kitchen/lounge area provides a lovely social space. From the property was a fabulous walk with amazing views over the Bay of Naples and Versuvius. The small village nearby is very friendly but as mentioned in other reviews a small car is essential which our hosts also helped us to arranged.

Our family of 5 had a fabulous time at Mario’s house! His family welcomed us with delicious treats and helped us carry our luggage up the stairs. There are a lot of stairs to climb! However, the pain is worth the gain to enjoy the breathtaking environment of the lemon farm and the picturesque views! The home itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay, with a homey feel. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the beach and there are plenty of restaurants to enjoy great food. There is also easy access to transportation to get around Almafi coast. Mario provides great information and is easy to communicate with. We’d return to this place without question!

Every moment at Vincenzo’s home was wonderful. Thanks to Vincenzo’s family, I had an amazing trip in Italy. The Wi-Fi can be a bit weak in the house, but it also can be own your time. Vincenzo kindly provided some basic ingredients, so I could cook delicious meals at home. He was always available and helpful whenever I needed anything, which made me very confortable. If I come back to Furore, I would love to stay here again. Le auguro tanta salute e felicità. Arrivederci!

First..the property was absolutely breathtaking, not going to lie, there are many steps getting to the villa but worth it…the whole town is full of steps but the small town of 600 is charming. Miriam and Francesca were wonderful hosts, always available for anything we needed. I would definitely recommend this villa.

Gorgeous house, charming town, beautiful views! We absolutely loved our stay here. Simone was a gracious host. Her niece met us when we got there and showed us everything. We spent a lot of time on the outside patio, enjoying the views. We appreciated the A/C in the bedrooms! The kitchen and house were both well stocked. We would definitely stay here again. We had some of our favorite meals in Vico Equense, based on Simone's recommendations. The bakery at the top of the steps was amazing! Such a lovely town, we don't speak much Italian and everyone was so patient and kind. What a great way to end our vacation!

Beautiful villa in S’agnello and a very responsive host who accommodated our almost midnight check in due to a three hour train delay from La Spezia to Naples. She shared options for tours around Amalfi as also numbers of taxi operators which was super useful. There was olenty of space for our family of five and lovely views from the Balcony. Air conditioning was very effective. Only word of caution is that we had a lot of luggage so the 45 step climb to the apartment was a rough one and I would not recommend to folks with a lot of luggage but this is something we knew before we booked. All in all a very memorable stay in a beautiful villa with a wonderful garden.

If you are thinking about booking this place - DO IT! I do not have the words to do justice to this accommodation. Davide (the on site host) was very communicative leading up to our visit with clear instructions and a warm introduction. He met us outside and gave us a tour of our residence with helpful hints while also answering any questions we had. He was so welcoming and wonderful! The views from multiple balconies are absolutely breathtaking, the decor is so special and unique, and the place was SPOTLESS. There are many steps throughout Positano, so steps are to be expected, but this location was perfect for us. The bus stop, local grocery store, and a cafe are a 1 minute walk. Throughout the entirety of our stay, we were remarking on how lucky we were to secure this place. I cannot imagine a better place in all of the absolutely beautiful town of Positano.

We had a lovely stay in the villa, highlight definitely being the outside area. Able to walk to the centre in around 15-20 mins and taxis were usually €25-30 for a single trip back up the hill. The villa was very clean and Fortunata was very helpful with any queries and check in/ check out!

A very beautiful place perfect for our family of 4 with two adult daughters. The location was great when traveling by ferry, as it is at the base of Positano just above the beach. It made traveling to Capri, for a day trip, very easy to access the ferry. The highlight was definitely the patio! Not sure how many other rentals have a large patio like this one! We loved having our morning coffee with the beautiful views, and 3 out of the 4 nights we went to the small grocery store (The Wine Shop, a 2 minute walk - with everything you need, and a wonderful staff!) and bought fresh produce, meats and cheese and had dinners on the patio, using the beautiful ceramic dishes! We ran out of coffee pods and the hosts hand delivered them to our door! This airbnb was a splurge (everything is expensive in Positano) during our travels in Italy, but worth it!

This was not only the most exceptional house and location but the host was just as amazing. Olimpia was kind, extremely responsive and welcomed us with open arms into her home. Her beautiful house was nothing short of amazing. The views of the coast and Capri were unmatched. The sunsets were the most beautiful we have seen. With the location we had access to the beach and just a quick bus ride into downtown Sorrento. This was best way to end our trip to Italy. Would highly recommend this host and villa to anyone looking to enjoy the coast in Italy.

Wow. What a beautiful view and home. We got lost trying to get there however Mario kept in contact with us. You have to meet at a church because most cars cannot climb the switchback up the hill to the location. Mario and his team somehow packed all 4 of us and our luggage into his car an took us up the hill to the home. They also took our bags back down on check out. It was crazy steep. Once up there, the view is breathtaking. Everything you need was there. Thank you for your hospitality.

I can’t thank Francesca and Roberto enough for their hospitality and welcoming personalities. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They make you feel like family. Their personal service is second to none and unlike any other Airbnb that I’ve stayed at before. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and appreciated all the help they gave us. From the restaurant tips to the detailed guide on how to get around, they always made themselves available. The welcoming meal was amazing as well as all of the other unexpected meals we received. Highly recommend staying with them and if we ever return to Amalfi there is no other place I would rather stay.

This is a beautiful location, peaceful and tranquil. The facilities outside are fantastic. The beds were comfortable and although there is no AC there were fans. We would have liked a parasol available round the pool area but there are ample places to be fine to relax in the shade.

What a dream vacation! Simone was very nice and helpful, gave us a lot of useful information about restaurants around us, helped us book transport and supplied us with water on the late evening we arrived without anything to drink. He is a very friendly host and very professional. The apartment is way nicer than what you see on the pictures, it is a little oasis in the middle of Massa Lubrense. The pool is clean, the beds are comfy and the lemon trees in your own garden are beautiful. We had one of our best vacations here and we can easily recommend this apartment to anyone! Spectacular views that are even better than the photos. The apartment is not large but is functional. The star is the terrace, which is huge and has jaw dropping views of Positano and the coast. After a long day of some of the greatest hiking I’ve ever experienced my wife and I would relax in the hot tub with an Aperol spritz while staring out to sea. Simply incredible. The two nearby restaurants were excellent. The next closest was a 25 minute walk towards monterpertuso and was also good. As others noted, you need to be mobile to stay in Nocelle. We love to hike and we loved it here. The Path of the Gods was amazing until it got crowded but then we went and did other higher trails that were also amazing. Nocelle is much much quieter than Positano and was perfect for us but you need to want that. An inexpensive bus takes you down to Positano, as will 1700 steps. We took the bus down and walked the steps up. I wouldn’t do that again A great place in a wondrous location

Great little find, would recommend. Very comfy bed, immaculately clean, great shower water pressure. Air con was great and had all the amenities listed. Parking was behind the gate to the property and in the shade, we were very happy leaving our rental car there. We didn't use the pool but it looked lovely and clean. The view from the property is lovely and makes you forget you're in a town and near a city. 20 minute walk (not the best in the dark) to the train station that goes down to Sorrento and up to Naples. Very convenient for us to visit Pompeii and the Amalfi coast (via bus from train station). Wonderful hosts, very friendly and responsive.

We absolutely loved Carmen's SoFi House! The town is quaint & beautiful & has everything you need within walking distance; including the train & bus stations!! So conveniently close! We adored the smaller town feel (not super touristy!), & how welcomed we were by even the shop owners & 24hr cafe around the corner!! Also how close it was to do tours & explore the bigger cities nearby - we did Naples & Sorrento!-next time for sure will add Capri!... Once we figured out the train (to go one of the directions, you need the next closest station in Scafati central, not the one outside the doorstep!), it was the most convenient & tucked away private place! The pool is suuuuuuper clean & gorgeous too!! So, yes, we'd stay here again & again!! Recommend this place, 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Highly recommended place to stay, if you’re looking for something peaceful and out of the town, this place match up with the best location ever, really great house, clean and we couldn’t find another view of the cost than the place has it. We were welcomed by Luigi, who’s had done a great job and made us feel like home. If you will host here, try to rent a car, it’s highly recommended. Thank you for your hospitality.
