Bed (90 cm + mattress on the floor). There is the possibility to make simple food. Cooking plate, microwave ++ NB! Kitchenette and bathroom/toilet are in the same room. A living room with a 90 cm bed. If 2 guests, extra mattress. The apartment is in the basement. Ceiling height approx. 197 cm. Bed linen and towels are included. Free parking in the street.

My childhood home, your vacation spot

Welcome to my childhood home, built in 1959 by my father on my grandfather's farm. The house is a living piece of local history, well preserved and appreciated by three generations. Since it was built, grandfather's farm has become part of a central residential area, a beautiful union of new and old homes. We took over this house from my parents in 2010, and we are proud to share it with you. By staying here, you will get an authentic experience of a typical Norwegian family house from the 50s.

Winter: Ski resorts in the mountains 1 hour away with car. Pets: only dogs are allowed due to allergy in host family.

Its 2-6 minutes walk to city center, harbour, railway and buses. Several grocery stores and restaurants 40-80 m away.

På veien ned til en fin badeplass kan en se og utforske Sørvest-Norges største konsentrasjon av helleristningsfelt. Sauer og lam kan oppleves på nært hold. Åmøy er også et godt utgangspunkt om en ønsker å besøke kjente steder som Utstein Kloster, Prekestolen, Sola strendene, Ørnhaug besøksgård, Kongeparken osv.

Romslig og trivelig hus. Rolig strøk og kort vei til sentrum. Fem soverom, to bad med dusj/badekar, to stuer med tv, bordtennisbord og leker til ungene. Trampoline i hagen og garasje med sykler og uteleker. Romslige soverom, hvor tre av rommene har dobbelseng og to har 120cm i tillegg er det en madrass som kan legges på gulvet. Det ene soverommet har også en sovesofa. Lekeplass i nærheten. 12 min å gå til Sandnes sentrum. 18 min med bil til Stavanger.

Boathouse by the lake in Sokn, Stavanger

The boathouse is brand new and part of the seaside house environment towards Soknasundet. There is a jetty with fishing opportunities. Buildings and furniture are made by the renowned architect Espen Surnevik. If you come by boat there is plenty of room for the boat at the jetty. The boathouse is part of Sokn Gard (see fb) which has many animals you can visit, and the farm has 5 km of hiking trails.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The house sleeps five. If you are traveling with small children, there is a separate bedroom with a cot. About 7 min to Kongeparken. 10 min to Sandnes city center. Barbecue area in the yard can be used. We have ducks and chickens that would like to have a visit, maybe you will find an egg?
