Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Sandy River

Incredible place! The host was very reap and friendly. We loved loved the home - every inch of the property is impeccably cared for and beautiful. Can’t wait to return!

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay. The space itself was clean, accurately described,and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and enjoyed using the community pool, tennis courts, etc. We would highly recommend.

The place was perfect for a one night stay! It was comfortable, well equipped, and had everything I needed. I especially appreciated the welcome gift, thank you! It would be great to have a TV or projector screen in the upstairs bedroom, just for a bit of extra relaxation. I also enjoyed meeting people from the house and having a nice time outside with Mila the dog. If I wasn’t so tired I would’ve mingled a lil more! Overall, a great stay…thank you!

An amazing, well furnished large home on the banks of a lovely river. If you are looking for an easy, access mountain retreat, or home base for skiing and hiking, you could not ask for better.

Hosts were very organized and wonderful communicators. Easy check-in / check-out process and overall great for our girls weekend away. The Troutdale home is well located — any easy drive to the airport and lots of good hiking. Few maintenance issues and outdoor area could use a little TLC, but really a beautiful spot and the hot tub was a delight. We had a private chef come to the house and it was a really good layout for it. Downtown Troutdale is super cute too.

Ed and Kym were wonderful hosts. We even had the opportunity to chat with both of them in passing during our stay and they’re great people. Their place was the perfect retreat for a pair of weary traveled parents with an infant. Not only was it an amazing location for seeing some of the best of parts Portland but a perfect place for our little one to rest and play in the evening.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place and perfect for one or two people. The shower was spacious with two showerheads, the bed was comfortable, and outside area was exactly what I needed. I kept the bedroom windows open because I like to be cool, and there was very little noise, except an occasional serenade by a nearby frog. Easy to get to from the freeway, though my GPS had me on the next street over, but it was easy to figure out where I needed to be with Rebecca’s directions before I got there.

Nice property right by the River. Comfortable stay and a good value. Beds were comfortable. The hosts set up a fire in the fire pit for us which was a nice bonus. They were also flexible on check out time.

Just a short mile from town, nice view out front sliding door of the river. Clean space, Christine and Martin were very friendly and have lots of knowledge about Columbia the Gorge.area.

This is my favorite air bnb I’ve ever stayed out. The location was great, the space was so beautiful and so affordable. Jim was amazing so friendly and helpful with recommendations. He didn’t make us do any of the cleaning, had seltzer waters and coffee for us on top of everything else, and was just so lovely and pleasant. Thanks so much Jim! Your home is so wonderful.

Great basecamp for hiking on the west side of the mountain, very peaceful and quiet despite being in a neighborhood and pretty close to the highway, the trees really muffle any noise. Loved the eclectic decor, album collection, and board games. Very comfortable bed. Very happy with the cute historic cabin.

The cabin was the perfect location for the 4 of us gals to have a nice getaway. It was cozy, quiet, relaxing, comfortable, and well appointed. It has some great trails not too far away to enjoy! Sal and Melissa were a great communicators and very welcoming!

We took off for a few days to get away with friends to celebrate our 50th anniversary. I happened on the Palmer Cabin after weeks of searching. It was exactly what I was looking for. It was in a great location, lots to do and see in the area, quiet and comfortable. The hot tub was great and sitting by the gas fire place in the evening was nice. We did most of our cooking there and the kitchen was well stocked with last-minute stuff that we may have forgot to bring. Check in and check out Instructions were easily understood. Would definitely come back here again.

So spacious, clean and full of diverse activities: hot tub, kid room upstairs with toys / games / movies, ping pong downstairs, path to creek, fire pits, deck with views, comfortable living room. Our family was so happy with all the space! Very cozy beds. Very well appointed bathrooms and kitchen. We wanted for nothing. Very close to a number of hikes and activities. Host Chris was very proactive and communicative. One of our best AirBnB experiences! Thank you!

Amber’s quaint cottage in the Hood River area was spectacular. We were only there for one night but would like to plan a more extended stay our next time. The house is very comfortable and cozy.

My wife and I, along with some family members, came up for a 5-day vacation and had an absolutely wonderful stay. The interior was cozy and beautifully maintained everything smelled fresh and clean, the towels were soft and plentiful, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could’ve needed. We were especially touched by the thoughtful pet-friendly details: a comfy dog bed, a towel just for our pup, and an elevated food bowl such a kind gesture that made us feel right at home. We also loved the peaceful outdoor space there was a lovely camping fire area perfect for evening hangouts, and even a little swing that added such a charming touch. The neighbors were incredibly friendly, and the river being so close made for the most relaxing walks and beautiful scenery. The only small thing we noticed was quite a few spider webs inside and on the outdoor deck, but that’s totally normal for a cabin in the wood. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d definitely come back
