We are 1 kilometer away from the nearest neighbor and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometers away. This is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful nature, you have come to the right place! In the cold season, you MUST additionally heat with the fireplace!

Welcome to the Middle Ages! Martinsburg is one of the few castles in the Middle Rhine Valley that have never been destroyed. The gatekeeper's room, approx. 50 m2, we have carefully renovated and approximated today's needs with shower and toilet. However, you have to climb 45 steps before you can settle down comfortably. In good weather, you can also relax in the flower corner in the Burghof or explore the Schlosspark am Rhein.

The vacation rental is located in the village of Hasselbach in the Hunsrück, between the Moselle and the Rhine. From here you can hike the Rheinsteig, take boat tours or start with the Rhine Valley Railway to Frankfurt or Koblenz.

Our cheerfully furnished apartment is located about 2 km outside Bornich, about 5 km from the Loreley. It is about 100 m² and is spread over 2 floors.
