Great place and hosts

We had a very good stay in San Lorenzo. The location by the sea is really nice, with direct access to the beach. We were on the ground floor, which allowed us to fully enjoy the terrace, ideal for meals and moments of relaxation. The accommodation is as advertised, clean and well-equipped for a short or long stay. The environment is quiet, perfect for resting, and communication with the host went well. Note: you must bring a good mosquito repellent, especially in the evening. Some small details could be improved for more comfort, but overall, it's a very good place to enjoy the sea and the calm.

The landlord will come to open the door and introduce the house in detail. You can park anywhere in the unmarked parking area. The main street is just down the stairs from the house. It is very convenient. The house is very big. There are two rooms with bathrooms. The roof is high and it is very cool in summer. There is a large terrace with a good view.

Awesome place in the heart of Ortigia. Great location to walk the town and explore, close enough to the Siracusa train station as well. Salvatore was so kind and gave us a bunch of recommendations at check in. Loved our time there.

We had the most beautiful time at this beach house and hope to come again one day! You can hear the sound of the ocean all the time, the interior is cosy and everything you need in the kitchen is there. The communication with Francesco was perfect. It‘s a gem.

If we ever find ourselves in Ortigia again (and I certainly hope we do) I know where we’re staying! Alessandra was a great host and her space is perfect for a couple.

Great value apartment in a central location. Allowed us to check in early and Domenica was so so helpful trying to help us locate our son's last suitcase. The roof terrace was a lovely bonus too.

Salvatore made us feel right at home in Ortigia. He reserved a parking garage for us on the island, set us up with a private boat tour company, and provided the best restaurant recommendations - we ended up going back to his first recommendation a second time before we left! He answered all of our questions incredibly quickly, assisted with the remote check in process, and was really committed to making sure we had a wonderful time in Ortigia. I recommend anyone traveling stay in this apartment - it’s beautiful, modern, clean, quiet, and close to amazing restaurants and the water. Even for folks who normally prefer hotels or are new to airbnb, Salvatore is more engaged and proactive than any concierge! Can’t wait to come back.

Good location within walking distance to sites, shops and restaurants! Clean and modern. Nice view of marina from upstairs bedroom!! Marcello provided a great list of places to go to and see! Convenient parking nearby if you need it. When the construction out front ends, the walkway will be a welcome edition. Euros requested for the tourist tax so remember to have exact change.

The apartment is nice and very close to the sea, we could go to the beach and come back few times a day. It has a nice garden and it feels grand. Also laying in the chair on the terrace during siesta was one of my favorites. The Conad is 5-10 mins away and cafes along the shore just few minutes away.

The accommodation was exactly as described (if not better), very clean, cozy and equipped with everything you need. We immediately felt comfortable and welcome. The host was incredibly friendly, helpful and always available if you had any questions – you can just tell that they work with heart and mind. The location was also perfect – quiet, but still well connected. Everything was simply uncomplicated, pleasant and completely stress-free. In short: We would come back at any time and can highly recommend this accommodation. Five stars are actually not enough!

We had a great stay in Marina di Ragusa. Kitchen was equipped with the most necessary things, that was fine. The terrace was incredibly great with a fantastic view! Unfortunately, it was a very loud evening, as young people had a party in front of the apartment all night, but Alessandro and the apartment can do nothing about it and maybe that was just an exception, the rest of the nights it was very quiet, but think it is good to know that it can get louder during the school holidays. The beach was also very crowded on Sunday. Then we drove to a neighboring town to the beach, which was also fantastically beautiful.

We would like to thank Paolo for making us have a perfect stay. Paolo is a very kind host, the cleanliness of the accommodation is impeccable. You can see the commitment, the meticulousness, the search for perfection... qualities that not everyone has, congratulations, keep it up! See you next time!

The apt. had everything you needed for a comfortable and perfect stay. The amenities were very thoughtful that Emanuele&Ivana provide for their guests such as slippers, cookies and a nice bottle of wine when checking in. The apt. Is beautifully decorated modern and elegant. Very comfortable bed , nice balcony and centrally located to restaurants and walkable for sightseeing and shops. Would highly recommend staying here .

Fantastic 3 weeks at Francesco`s beautiful apartment - superbly located on Isola Ortigia, an absoultely spectacular place. Lively even during winter and a number of sights (Neapolis is a must!). Went to the food market for fish and greens and made dinner at home every other day or so. Otherwise a number of very good restaurants within a 500m radius. Breakfast and lunches on the spectacular terrase, short/t-shirt at least half the days (when in the sun) even during winter. Francesco was very helpful when we needed some minor assistance with heating and dishwasher. The heating system was the best I have every come across in Italy - water heated radiators, not only the usual A/C. All in ll - spotless!

We loved the apartment and Ortigia very much In a great spot , very much in the heart of village life , the window doors were amazing blocking out sound. Communication and support with host was excellent Virginia and Michael

Beautiful apartment in a great location

I loved this apartment! it is in a superb location, a block from the ocean and walkable to every site, every store and every restaurant. it was cozy and it was quiet. I would come back here again in an instant! Maria and her partner were very friendly, interested in ensuring I had a great stay, and very accommodating when I asked if I could leave my luggage a bit longer beyond checkout. She couldn't have been kinder in agreeing to this and she even offered to drive me to meet friends rather than have me pull my luggage through the streets. She went above and beyond! Given the spotlessness of the apartment, the amenities, the recommendations, and its proximity to all, this is an absolute gem!!

Amazing location and incredible hosts. They picked us up from outside Ortigia as the location is in the limited traffic zone which means you’re unable to take your car in. Despite not speaking a lot of English, the host communicated everything we’d need via messages and offered a ton of recommendations for things to see and places to eat. They were incredibly generous and kind leaving us with a stocked fridge, welcome wine and offered extended checkout. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re visiting Ortigia

staying here is like being a local Ortagian we were greeted at our parking space by Enrico who is Majas man on the ground who took us down the street to the apartment so much better than having to find a key lock box the apartment is superbly equipped and stylish in a typical Italian fashion large lounge with views two bedrooms both on a par ditto for the bathrooms on the third floor there is also an amazing terrace ideal for the alfresco breakfast sunbathing and pre dinner sundowners this was one of the best airbandbs we know and we would like to return

Great place, within walking distance beach, restaurants, transport. Hosts lovely people , very thoughful and caring, went out of way to help. Would definitely stay there again.
