Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Santa Maria di Castellabate

We had a specific reason for visiting Fornelli and Savlatore's B&B was the perfect place to stay. The unit was quaint with a bedroom and bathroom. There was a small refrigerator in the unit. Salvatore is a very gracious host, attending to all needs of his guests. He prepares a wonderful breakfast each morning, consisting of fresh made cakes, breads, meats/ cheese, fresh fruit, juice and coffee. He provided good suggestions for area restaurants and things to do along the Cilento coast. Though we do not speak very much Italian, we were able to communicate well enough (used Google translate a couple of times). There is a chiesa just up the road from the B&B and I attended the church service two evenings. The residents were friendly, kind and welcoming. We enjoyed our time at B&B Mandorlo and will stay again if we return to the area.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was quiet , clean and beautifully decorated and the surrounding gardens , olive grove and swimming pool made for a relaxing break from our travels. We felt very welcome and it was nice to be able to have homemade pizza for dinner in the outdoor area. Breakfast was in the main house and was all we needed before exploring the archeological ruins of Paestum which are close by.

If off the beaten path is somewhere you'd like to stay, this would be the perfect location. Close enough to sights, yet very close to a beach that was not crowded. Antonio was very informative and helpful in providing recommendations during my stay.

If you are Italian and want a fantastic weekend getaway, or from another country and want the perfect Italian experience, stay at Al Vicolo del Cilentro! Our stay at Alessandro's place was beyond what we could have hoped. The BnB was so charming we felt we were living in a movie. The room was clean and modern, and the views unbelievable. Alessandro made our stay extra special. He made us so comfortable, toured us around his beloved Cilentro, and made our entire trip a success. He even called the airlines (more than once) to help track down our lost luggage...and took us to buy toothbrushes in the meantime! 5 stars plus.

Modern and really cute accommodation, top cleanliness and varied and plentiful breakfast. Not to mention the view and the quiet and strategic location to reach both Agropoli and Castellabate in a few minutes. Michelangelo was very helpful and clear, he also recommended some places to see in the area.

The place looked better as it was described: super clean, fragrant closet, and comfortable spaces. We also had a small terrace that for the short time available we could not take advantage of it. The welcome was really very friendly and Angela was impeccable, she made us taste a very good tart made completely at home. Repeat experience

Impeccable accommodation in a central location, clean and well organized. The host is very helpful and very kind, knows how to take care of the client in every detail every detail throughout the stay. There is no against it. Highly recommended and definitely worth a try. Compliments

We were a group of 5 (2 couples and a mutual friend) and spent 2 evenings at Carmine's place. Carmine was very kind to pick us up from a nearby car park and showed us the way. I would recommend having a car for easy access to nearby locations. However, I do not think this is a problem as travelling in the region requires a car anyway. There is also ample space for parking if you are a group travelling with multiple cars. Rooms are very spacious, well decorated, and they were also very clean. There is no air conditioning but there are well functioning ceiling fans. With these fans, we did not have any problem sleeping during the night. There is also daily cleaning, which was a very pleasant surprise. There are also 2 extremely friendly and cute dogs that you can spend time playing with. Carmine's mom offered us a fantastic breakfast with cornetto, fruits, and homemade honey. She was also kind enough to prepare us coffee and and give us some homemade jams that she prepared herself. We thought it was a very cosy environment and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I recommend visiting Carmine's place to travelers planning to spend couple of days in the region.

We had a great time. Perfect location to visit Paestum, very kind host and great breakfast with brioche. In the afternoon we cooled off by the pool. Definitely recommend!

If you are planning on visiting Agropoli, I would recommend staying in Daniela’s b&b with all my heart. The room is spacious, clean and well equipped in addition to being newly renovated. The balcony is surprisingly large and provides a lovely wiev of the surrounding area with the castello. The beds are extremely comfy! Daniela is an extremely caring and lovely host, she provides lots of useful tips for activities to do in the area. She goes out of her way to make sure that her guests have a pleasant stay in Agropoli. The breakfast she makes is amazing, she bakes her own cakes and provides fruit from her own garden! Daniela is always quick to respond, and pays attention to you and your well-being throughout your entire stay. This is probably the most comfortable bed&breakfast I have ever stayed in, and would love to stay here again!

It was a pleasant discovery. The family that welcomed us and the environment that hosted us remain an excellent memory of this summer. Peace and fresh air are now a privilege, especially if you're looking for a short distance from the sea. Here we can say that we have fully enjoyed it. Rachele is always available and attentive, a mother before being an excellent host!

We stayed at Tenuta Fasanarella on August 16 and despite the high season we enjoyed peace and tranquility. Elena was very kind and responsive, the superlative room was equipped with every comfort and breakfast was excellent. We also used the pool and everything was comfortable and relaxing. The property is located in the center of the estate so there is no noise or annoyance of any kind, it is really the ideal place to relax. A few minutes by car you reach the beach and thereis for all tastes, from the super-equipped beach to the free beach. Also by car you can reach in 10 min restaurants and bracerias. Overall we were very satisfied and recommend to those who want a relaxing vacation to consider Tenuta Fasanarella as an option

I went to Gianluca's at B&b Stella di Mare last weekend.. I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend days by the sea in a charming accommodation and with every comfort just a few minutes drive from the coast, Eboli and Battipaglia. We had a really good time. Thanks a lot for the great hospitality, cleanliness and every comfort - I recommend it was useful and valuable to make our short vacation exceptional.

Anna and her family have been very friendly and welcoming from the very beginning. Tenuta Raimo is a beautiful, peaceful location with breathtaking views of the gulf of Sorrento and Capri. The pictures do not do it justice. The locals are also super friendly and welcoming. We definitely recommend Anna’s place to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful location in the middle of the Cilento countryside. Thank you for having us Anna and all the best with everything! 😊

New structure, clean room, we had a good time. Lucia and her family are very kind people, abundant breakfast, convenient location 5 minutes by car to the sea and the center

The structure is developed with many mini-apartments overlooking a central garden, here there is a common covered space with tables and a bar corner, from this central space you can also access the dining area where a good breakfast is both sweet and savory every morning. The staff is professional, welcoming, friendly and always available, it was like entering a small community where all the other guests were super friendly too. Special thanks to Gianfranco who takes care of the guests with professionalism and friendliness. Recommended for both families and young couples or group of friends seeking a tranquil but not boring place.

This Airbnb experience was wonderful. If you're looking for pure escapism and a quiet, quaint holiday retreat then please please book this place. It's the calmest, most relaxing stay and the host couldn't be more welcoming or wonderful if they tried. Trentinara is such a cute, small, mountain village with a surprising amount of eateries and the most welcoming locals. If you intend to explore Cilento then a car is a must, but if you want pure freedom and a slow-relaxed vacation then taxis/walking will serve you well. Enjoy!

Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Shared, large veranda overlooking green corn fields. Carmen took care of us with good English. Free beach: turn left at park gates, straight to beach, then 75 m to right. Highlight: Barlotti mozzarella restaurant, eating outdoors under grapevines. Lovely time! Thanks Carmen!!
