Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Santa-Maria-Poggio

Accommodation faithful to the listing, very welcoming host. If I go back to Corsica, this accommodation will be part of it! Note: small dirt road to access the accommodation (made by motorcycle).

Great place and very friendly hosts in a peaceful and beautiful place. We had a great week and a lot of fun and sun. We would highly reccomend the place to someone, who is seeking peace, good location where you reach stores, restaurants and city center very fast by foot, but are anyway in a place surounded with nature and can visit endless sand beaches only few minutes away by car.

Go ahead with your eyes closed! ... well, keep them open to access it by a small, typically Corsican road! The accommodation at the back of the owners' plot in the heart of Urtaca is a true haven of peace for 2 or 4 people. Several large terraces, including one covered with a summer kitchen, invite you to disconnect. The accommodation is large (2 beautiful bedrooms each with shower room and toilet) and has everything you could need. Dume and Héléna are welcoming, charming and give good advice for activities or gastronomy. Two or three walks are possible from the cottage in the maquis. The village is authentic and quickly connected to the main road Corte/Ile Rousse which makes it easy to radiate to discover Balagne and refuel (no fixed trade in Urtaca). In short, we feel good at Dume and Héléna's and we simply loved our stay (and our dog too).

We had an amazing time at Geoffrey's place! A beautiful home with everything we needed, gave us great recommendations and is a perfect base to know North Corsica. You could walk to the beach through a beautiful walk in a forest and have a nearby beach bar with very reasonable prices and majestic people. The dogs and we have enjoyed it very much, we will certainly come back!

A very pleasant stay at Anthony's in Corsica where we were warmly welcomed. The house is nice, comfortable, close to the beach, perfect for a family, ideally located on the green coast for excursions while being close to Biastia which is one of our favorite cities in Corsica. In 10 days we were able to visit Bastia, Talasani, Cap Corse, St Florent, Ile Rousse, Calvi, Corte, Ajaccio, Porto Vecchio, returning every night. We drove 1500km by car, returning every night. We recommend this homestay and thank our hosts for their hospitality and sympathy. Magali and Michael

Coming with family at 10, the house was very nice, clean and well appointed. The heated pool was usable at the end of April, the terrace was very nice and the kitchen well equipped. Thanks to Laurence for her availability and advice

The house convinces with the quiet locations on the hill with incredible views of the sea, the harbor and the town of Il Rousse. The garden is set up on several levels where the pool is located. The big turnaround is also ideal for dogs. The house is very spacious with a large kitchen, 2 bedrooms with their own bathroom. Everything was very clean and high quality. The communication with Emilie very pleasant and friendly. You felt welcome. The accommodation is highly recommended and the region is ideal for nature lovers who want to spend their holidays away from the tourist hustle and bustle. Thank you for a great stay.

Dear Christin, Thank you so much for the wonderful stay! We didn't miss anything. Even before arrival, the communication was very good, even during the stay we talked a lot, got a lot of tips, we all felt very comfortable (also our dog, who was warmly welcomed by Christine's dogs), the accommodation was fantastic and the view from the large window was breathtaking. If you are looking for peace, love nature and want to be surrounded by nice people, this is the place to be.

Charlotte's place is so peaceful and lovely. The cottage was spotless and had all the amenities we need. The huge private gardens and pool surrounding the place were a very nice bonus. It feels like you are miles away from everything, but it is only an 8 minute drive to the middle of Saint-Florent, and to the nearest beach. Charlotte was very helpful and responsive and gave us a lot of guidance on the local area. I would love to come back and would not hesitate to book again.

The accommodation at Chantal's was great, absolutely recommended!!! Chantal is always available, very friendly and gives tips for all needs. The apartment is very nicely decorated, modern and equipped with everything you need. There are great restaurants nearby that offer delicious French cuisine, the prices are fair. Unfortunately, I have a small criticism, the beach, which is a 3-minute walk away, is public (free of charge), so it is not so well maintained. Nevertheless, you can also spend a nice day there. All in all, we were very satisfied and would stay with Chantal again on a new trip to Corsica. Thanks very much.

A great stay in St Florent with Dorothée and François. This is a high quality Airbnb in a beautiful setting and a very warm welcome. Excellent stay in every way. Many rentals should take the example. We would recommend it in a second.

Beautiful house perched in an exceptional and peaceful village. The view is just amazing. We stayed a week with our 5 children under 10 years old. The accommodation is large, it is composed of the entire floor of an extensive house, 3 large bedrooms. Separate entrance on the right side with stairs. The owner lives just below and is very discreet and available as needed. It has everything a family needs, including dryer, washing machine, towels, sheets... Nearby, full of possible activities, we did beautiful hikes ( all levels possible) , the beach 15 min away is excellent for children because shallow over a very long distance, the water is warm and clear. A restaurant open in the evening just down from the house, otherwise 15 min all shops and sales of fruits /vegetables, charcuterie and local cheeses. The week went by quickly, we would have stayed much longer. I would highly recommend it

Great stay at Karen's! The accommodation is very well located with access to the beach and many restaurants in a few minutes walk through the back of the residence, it's really convenient 🙂 We recommend the ice cream parlor "l'abri des flots" that we loved by the way. The location of the apartment allows you to either enjoy the beach or, due to its proximity to the national road, to easily visit other parts of Corsica, convenient! The apartment itself is practical and well laid out, we enjoyed the terrace and the washing machine, as well as the quiet that allowed us to sleep with the window open without nuisance. Recommended!

We enjoyed our stay in the authentic and lively little village of Santa Maria Poggio. The house is full of charm and light - the terraced garden offers really fabulous views of the mountain and sea and the pool is perfect. La Castagniccia is very green and has many hiking trails from Santa Maria Poggio. The house is in the heart of the village which is a real village community where everyone knows each other. A special thank you to Jean Jacques for his welcome, his advice and his love of Corsica. An exceptional place.

We were incredibly lucky that Mélissa's accommodation was spontaneously available. It will undoubtedly contribute to making our Corsica round trip unforgettable. The indescribable location, the view and the love with which Mélissa prepares the meals (there are breakfast options and also aperitif boards, which are intended as a starter for dinner) made the stay unforgettable. We thank her very much for this! Also for making our two dogs feel welcome! We can only warmly recommend this accommodation to anyone who is looking for something special with a lot of peace and nature!

We would have a great welcome. Local welcome gift. The apartment was clean. Balcony was large with great views of the sea. Cozy bed. Perfect beach access. Generally nice complex with pool. Highly recommended.

1 week spent at Marc and his son Vincent's home. We will hold an exceptional setting with sea views not overlooked large spaces and great if you traveled with your dog. The accommodation remains faithful to the photos, everything is there for a very nice stay to crisscross the Bastia region.

Romain's apartment is beautiful, just as described and shown in the pictures. It is also very well equipped, clean and offers plenty of space. Romain and his family were very friendly and helpful, either by message or in person. We can highly recommend it and would go back anytime.
