House holiday rentals in Santee

I am a San Diego local, but my family was coming to town and we needed more space. I picked this place because I knew my sister and brother-in-law would love being able to walk to all the restaurants and brewery nearby and my 6 year old nephew would get a lot of use out of the pool. The place exceeded my expectations, it was perfect for everyone. We spent a lot of time in the backyard swimming or playing board games, and my Mom got a lot of use out of the hot tub. Communication with the host was excellent and the place was comfortable and clean. The only downside is my family might visit too often now!

Nice place to stay in the San Diego area. Conveniently located within reasonable driving distance to popular attractions and nestled in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The backyard and pool are beautiful. The pool was by far the highlight of our stay. Miguel is an exceptional host: responsive, accommodating, and a pleasure to communicate with.

This place was such an amazing experience for us. It was just the tranquil, spacious and comfortable stay that our big family needed. Everyone had a blast. We appreciated all the amenities and the area. It was the most well stocked place I’ve ever stayed. They had everything needed to cook every meal and I couldn’t recommend more. Everything was so well thought out and beautiful.

Van was very friendly, even had great food recommendations for my family and I. The home was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. My children thought we were in a place of royalty with how well put together the house was. Loved our stay and will definitely be back

Jessica’s home is beautiful and located in a lovely neighborhood that is close proximity to many things. We came to celebrate the graduation of my niece and Jessica’s home was a great place for the family to connect, rest between events and spend time together! Her home is beautifully appointed and was perfect for our stay. Jessica is a great host who communicates with her guests and is very responsive! Her home is filled with good energy and I would definitely book again! for future family events when visiting San Diego!

Honestly this home was absolutely breathtaking. Definitely worth staying there a million times. Beautiful backyard and interior. Would 100% recommend. Host was very kind and helpful. If you have a family with children this is the PERFECT place! Not only are there plenty of toys and board games to keep the kids entertained, there is also a pool and jacuzzi. This rental even had toothbrushes and toothpaste along with sunscreen and aloe in case you forgot.

This place literally felt like paradise. If you didn’t know you were in San Diego, you would feel like you’re in Hawaii! The backyard was so beautiful that we spent the majority of our time out there in the pool, hot tub, and tiki bar! The upstairs patio was fantastic for outdoor eating. The hosts were super communicative with any questions we had prior to and during our visit! We definitely can’t wait to stay again in the future!

Kyle was a great host for my son’s military leave in June. We had a peaceful relaxing time, beautiful comfortable home. I recommend to everyone looking for private accommodation. Thank you

This was my first experience in an Airbnb and I could not have been more pleased. This home is clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a week-long stay! Some of the many highlights: Parking is dedicated and convenient. Kitchen well stocked with a full-sized fridge. There is so much room between the kitchen, living/bedroom and the bathroom/bathroom area! Recliners and bed were super comfortable. TV was easy to use and seemed to have a ton of channels, plus apps like YouTube. Water pressure in the shower was *fantastic* (also the shower head situated high on the wall, great for tall guests). Fast internet connection. Quiet neighborhood. I kept the windows and door open all day while I was there. Lovely patio with a table and large umbrella. Very nice and communicative owners! Most importantly, I felt very safe as a solo traveler. I feel lucky I had the opportunity to stay here and would 100% do so again!

This place is so cute! It was close to everything AC works great. The bed was super comfy and the massage chair was a huge bonus! Will be going back if available next time I’m in town! Ty

There was a lot of "extras" we were not expecting but very thankful for. Great place for kids and family groups.

We loved this house, everything was perfect, no issues and the kids refused to leave! They still want to go back and live at the “house with the blue door”! Clean, tidy, comfortable pillows…definitely recommend booking this place!

I've made three trips to San Diego in the past year. I stayed in two different airbns; one being this one, one downtown, and one upscale hotel, 7th floor bayside downtown. This was my favorite spot by far. Even if your business or pleasure is downtown (we do Padres), the uber fares or car rental is worth it to stay out in El Cajon at this spot. It is immaculate, beautifully decorated, and so peaceful. The hill view, quiet, and night and morning sounds are great. Nice view of the city lights. Almost too many areas/seating spots in the house to decide where to have your coffee or your drink. Neighbors waved, hot tub maintenance knocked on the door to check in, etc. The only issue was uber/delivery having trouble finding the house because there is a road that was likely once open but is now private, so they go to the wrong spot. I loved it here.

Sarah’s place was clean and comfortable. Easy check in. Host was on top of everything which made it smooth. Definitely worth the money spent. Highly recommended!!!

We live in San Diego and needed space while we completed work on our place. We could easily rent a hotel but prefer not to. Alejandro’s place is in a nice neighborhood and we always wanted to see what it was like to live in a loft. It’s definitely not for us but we’re glad we experienced it. Alejandro’s loft is top of the line with great decor and nice touches. We do cook a lot and and there were not enough pots but it wasn’t a big deal. There was plenty of coffee, lavender tea (very yummy), plenty of cooking space and overall a really nice stay. I would not recommend a loft for someone that is frail as you do have to climb a ladder to bed and you have to be careful climbing down. Alejandro and Magdalena are responsive and attentive and vey welcoming yet not intrusive.

We loved staying at Abby’s place in Santee. We were our two kids and the place was SO kid friendly. We appreciated the rocking recliner for nursing, the spacious master suite, and many toys and games. The place was so close to all that Santee and San Diego has to offer. With family living in Santee, this place was perfect for our trip. We also appreciated the two king beds and bunk beds for our stay.

Great place. Private and quiet. Perfect when traveling with older kids, got the upstairs apartment all to themselves. Small but extremely comfortable, has everything you need. The property is beautiful and well taken care of. The basketball goal was perfect for the family. Pool was clean. I 💯 would stay here again. Owner had great communication.

Grant: the house was fabulous! My only regret is that we couldn’t have shared it with others! It was the perfect party house. If we’re ever in San Diego again we’re going to see if this house is available. I’d like to share it with family & friends. And I’d like to explore San Diego further. Nate finished in the top 1% of over 17,000 runners in the Rock & Roll half marathon and it was a blessing that he could come back and chill after the race at such a lovely space!
