Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sao Roque

Prachtig verbouwd oud huis, met behoud van originele elementen. De nieuwe aanbouw, met de verhoogde glazen kubus, is fantastisch: stijlvol ingericht, prachtig uitzicht, steeds afwisselend, privé. Alleen gekwetter van vogeltjes. Auto is te parkeren op eigen terrein. Tuin is privé. Goed bed! Keuken is wat onpraktisch, maar dat is ondergeschikt aan de voordelen van de woning. Tijdens ons verblijf waren er bouwwerkzaamheden naast het huis. We hadden er weinig last van, zeker ook omdat we overdag veelal op pad waren. Kortom: fantastische plek, voor herhaling vatbaar! This place is amazing! We enjoyed the apartment for two weeks as our home base to explore Sao Miguel. With its location in Lagoa it is the perfect getaway from the business of Ponta Delgada but still close enough to go on early whale watching tours.. or to any direction on the island. The kitchen is very well setup - we could prepare meals on multiple days but also enjoyed the walks to the nearby restaurants.. With breakfast and dinner on the roof top terrace this place is a unique find and we will be happy to stay again! Thank you for making such a place a reality!

Sehr schöne Aussicht, schönes Haus, sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir empfehlen ein Auto zu mieten um alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und Aktivitäten zu erreichen. Marco ist sehr freundlich , hat am ersten Tag (trotz Flugverspätung) auf uns gewartet , Schlüssel übergeben und das Haus gezeigt. Er war immer für uns erreichbar. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft bei Marco weiter. Marek

Beautiful view, enjoyed my coffee on the balcony in the mornings overlooking the ocean. Would not suggest this accommodation if someone in your party has difficulties with stairs. Was perfect for the 4 of us!

We have been at the parents house for a week and had an amazing time. The view from the balcony is insane and the whole Apartment has beautiful furniture. The communication was also very easy and lovely. Thus I can highly recommend this apartment for everybody who is doing vacation on the Azores.

We had such a wonderful stay! The hosts were extremely proactive about helping us with any and all needs. We were traveling with a 1 year old baby and they had everything prepared for him including high chair and crib all set up. We are so glad we got to spend a wonderful week at this property. Le logement de Tania est hyper bien pensé et équipé, tres propre et quel plaisir cette terrasse face à l océan d où l on peut apprécier le coucher de soleil. Un vrai bonheur ! Sans oublier l hospitalité et la gentillesse de Tania ! Je recommande vivement

It was a bit hard to find the location originally as there are no numbers on the outside. We had a couple of issues at the beginning but Bruno was very responsive and fixed the issues quickly. The place was really nice, good location, great space to share with my children. We made good use of the hot tub and pool. Would recommend this place.

Great way to end are 2 week trip staying here at Duartes place. He also gave us tons!! Of suggestions and ideas for food and adventures outdoors.

L'appartement est super bien situé et proche de tout. J'ai pu déposer mes bagages avant le temps ce qui a été grandement apprécié. Le lit double est très confortable, le lit simple moins. La terrasse est parfaite et l'air climatisé a été très utile pour enlever un peu d'humidité. Les seuls choses qui manque c'est dans la cuisine si vous voulez cuisiner à la maison. Un seul couteau multifonction, un couteau à main, une planche à découper, une seule guénille, un ouvre bouteille, des ustensiles et vaiselles. Pas de pellicule plastique, pas de papier aluminium, pas d'économe et juste deux plats plastiques pour les diner à emporter. Bref les tiroirs sont vides. Sinon tous est parfait.

This is hands down the best Airbnb my boyfriend and I have ever stayed at! The apartment is extremely well kept and has everything you could possibly need. In addition, Maria and Joao Paulo were the most amazing hosts! Here are the highlights: - Looks just like the photos! Super clean - In unit washer was amazing - Insane views of the water - Extremely well located (also less than 10 min from the airport!) - Maria and Joao Paolo were extremely responsive and proactive in giving us tips for the island and the apartment - They even made us a local dessert which was so good! - Truly the best hosts we’ve ever had I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone that is looking to experience Sao Miguel!

Tolles und gemütliches Apartment. Man fühlt sich gleich wie zu Hause und der Garten ist einfach traumhaft. wir wurden von Alex äußerst freundlich empfangen. Er hat uns gleich durch den gesamten Garten geführt. Unbedingt das angrenzende Restaurant ausprobieren, ausgezeichnetes Essen und toller Service. Vielen Dank :)

Álvaro was an amazing host, the area was beautiful and he was able to provide many recommendations on stuff to do in the area. For others like us who wanted to explore the whole island it is a great central location that can get you to all sides in under an hour. Definitely will be recommending to our friends and family who will be visiting the island, thanks Álvaro!

Paula’s place looks better than on the photos. Very clean, has everything you need. Bathroom is very clean and tidy, has shower gel, shampoo, soap and many big towels :) we didn’t use the kitchen but it looks clean, has every dishes, wine opener, microwave. There’s also balcony-like zone with the washing machine and space to let the cloth dry. We had our own detergent so don’t know if it was some. Bedroom is very comfortable, you can hear waves sound at night that is very pleasant to fall asleep with. There could be some bike and church noises from the outside so it’s worth having ear stoppers if it bothers you. Personally me sleeping like a log :) Beach is 3 mins away, very nice bar with the best caipirinha and amazing terrace is 3 mins away. Also there are couple of restaurants near the beach where you can try some local dishes or drink coffee in the morning. Free parking is next to the beach. Paula is a great host and very friendly and nice. We can definitely recommend this place!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft von Baptiste. Check-in und Check-out hat super funktioniert. Die Unterkunft ist etwas hellhörig, man hört die Autos von der Straße, aber es fahren vor allem nachts kaum Autos lang. Der Pool ist super und sogar beheizt. Die Lage eignet sich super, um mit dem Auto die Insel zu erkunden. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt :).

We really enjoyed staying at Isabel’s place. It was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need for your stay. We enjoyed sitting outside and in the cozy living room. The location was ideal for our daily road trips on this beautiful island. Isabel was very quick to respond to any question we had. We could not have asked for a better place to stay!!

Monique provided a great experience. She was very nice and accommodated us with our early arrival.

Great apartment in an excellent location. Close to beach, supermarket, bar, cafe and on the bus line. Very quiet area. Our hosts were very gracious and friendly. Gostámos muito da nossa estadia nesta casa! Sentimo-nos bem recebidos desde o início e a casa tem tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia confortável. Houve uma pequena situação durante a nossa estadia, nada relacionado com a casa ou com os anfitriões, mas ainda assim foram super rápidos e atenciosos a ajudar, o que agradecemos imenso. A localização também é bastante boa: conseguimos chegar facilmente a pé ao que precisávamos. É preciso caminhar um pouco, mas faz-se bem. No geral, foi uma ótima experiência e recomendamos sem hesitar. Obrigado por tudo!

Such a bargain for a delightfully decorated apartment with an incredible view and a hot tub on the terrace!!! The area was peaceful and stunning and the apartment had everything you could need! Definitely recommend :)

The apartment is centrally located. Very clean and well stocked with all toiletries and kitchen supplies. They provided bread, cookies, coffee, sugar, oil, salt, spices among other things. We felt right at home. Plenty of towels, blankets.
