Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Saulgrub

We were 8 and did a team workation. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, but we felt very comfortable in the large living room!

Even the greeting by Pauline conveyed a good feeling of being welcome. It was like staying with friends.

Our stay was absolutely flawless. The property is immaculate, thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable visit. Nestled in a stunning location, it serves as a perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. We were fortunate to enjoy glorious spring weather, which made relaxing on the lovely patio after a day of sightseeing even more delightful. We wholeheartedly recommend this place—it's a 10/10 experience!

The apartment was perfectly appointed. Wonderful views, extremely comfortable and all the home comforts needed. A short and very pretty walk into town, where there are several nice restaurants and places for coffee and drinks . The view from the balcony is stunning. Britta was a super a helpful host, assisting us with restaurants and local information. Highly recommended and would definitely return.

Simon's house exceeded our expectations. It was not only very lovingly and high-quality furnished, but also sparkling clean. We immediately felt at home. Communication with Simon was quick and smooth. He was always there when we had questions and kindly provided us with a shelter for our car when heavy hail was forecast. The area is very quiet, the house has a really good and inviting energy due to the large amount of wood. From Großweil, you can easily reach all the beautiful lakes or hiking trails. There is also a small supermarket in the village and in Murnau there are also larger markets, if you need more. We longed for rest and quiet this week and got just that. We had a wonderful time at Theresa's in Pfronten! The accommodation was very clean, cozy and perfectly equipped – ideal for our stay with children. Theresa is a warm and helpful hostess who provided us with great tips about the area. The location is great: quiet, but still central, with a beautiful view of the mountains and many excursion options nearby. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. Absolutely recommended!

With one laughing and one wistful eye, we look back on our stay with Georg and Gisela. Nostalgic, because time passed too quickly and we could have stayed forever... A week was simply too short! Laughing, because it was so beautiful and we are already looking forward to our next visit to Waltersberg. We can only agree with all the previous great reviews. Georg and Gisela are wonderful hosts, as they could not be better: attentive, warm, helpful and in short people to like. The house was charming, cozy, sparkling clean and well-equipped as expected, the beautiful garden very idyllic, full of flowers and well maintained, the charming surroundings and the short distances to the most beautiful mountain and lake landscapes are worth a trip anyway. Rosi and her family are super hospitable! We felt very comfortable and will definitely book again. The farm ice cream is very tasty and the cheese is also highly recommended!

I was at Michael's accommodation for a weekend and was able to rest well here after long days in nature. The accommodation corresponded exactly to the description and Michael was very nice and proactive in communication.

We stayed for 3 nights at Georg's apartment "Viktoria" and felt at home from the first time we entered. Not only the apartment, but also the house and the great garden (with various possibilities for sitting, lingering, sunbathing and watching sunset) were super well maintained, lovingly designed and kept modern. The location of the accommodation was perfect - insanely quiet location, but by car within an hour you were in the Alps! We will be happy to come back!

Great location. Friendly welcome by Richard and his wife. He was very helpful in finding a baker during the holidays. The accommodation had a wonderful place where you could sit outside until after sunset.

This is a real comfortable and cosy apartment with everything you need; also nice outdoor space which is private and great for relaxing. Ursula was very helpful and understanding, I had a minor medical problem and she really helped out, thanks again Ursula! ♥️ Oberau itself is very pretty with an absolutely amazing outdoor public swimming pool, please check it out! Nice restaurants, ask Ursula for recommendations: also towns nearby are easily reachable by train and wort a visit.

Our stay at Mariana's was very nice. The small but just sufficient apartment had everything you need. We lacked nothing and it was very clean and tidy. Everything was as described. We felt really comfortable from the beginning, because Mariana is super sweet and attentive. She was also quick to respond. Highly recommended, we would come back! 😊

Everything was perfect – from the communication with the hosts to the fantastic location with its diverse possibilities for hiking, walking and enjoying, to the apartment itself, which impresses with comfort, loving furnishings and absolute cleanliness. We especially appreciated the new terrace - it made our breakfast even more beautiful and 😍 provided relaxing moments including birdsong. The tranquility and idyll all around help you to immediately switch off and come to rest. There is really nothing we would improve or change. A very special thank you goes to Michi and Leila - two wonderful people who, with their open, warm manner, have made a significant contribution to making us feel completely comfortable and making the best of our short break. We felt completely comfortable and are already looking forward to seeing you again! 🙂😊👍

Susanne's place in Murnau is very warm. In good weather, the view of the Alps is beautiful and the small terrace in front is very pleasant. We made the majority of walking trips between the studio and Murnau station, it is doable and the path is pleasant, but you have to like walking (about 30' to the center of Murnau and 40' to the train station). Close to the apartment, there is a lady who offers Thai massages. We enjoyed it and enjoyed it.

Very nice and quiet apartment. Inventory in very good condition. We felt very comfortable here. Highly recommended.

The location and apartment were great. Fantastic view and everything as described. Very warm welcome and everything uncomplicated. Best starting point for numerous hikes. I'd love to come back

Wonderful apartment with a view of Neuschwanstein and deer in the grass field. Good base for sightseeing and walks through the hills

My sister and I were super satisfied, the kitchen is well equipped, there is an oven and a microwave. The rest of the apartment is also well equipped and maintained. There are bed linen and towels, even a hair dryer is provided. Would come back any time.

We spent 3 nights in Simone and Sascha's apartment. The apartment is very modern and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of furnishings. The hosts are very nice and gave us recommendations for restaurants and hiking trails in the area right after check-in. We would have liked to have stayed longer. In total, we enjoyed the short vacation very much and felt completely comfortable in the apartment.

We loved Carolin's space - specially the nice balcony area with nice views of the mountains. It was extremely clean, made us feel welcome and cozy and had a lot of space to enjoy a comforting day after being on the mountains. Carolin was always very attentive and flexible - it was simply smooth and great. I wish I could have stayed there longer :) will come back

We had a great weekend in the very nice accommodation. The connection and arrival was very simple and the communication with Gabi was smooth and also on short-term difficulties (we were locked out) was quickly responded to. The apartment is modern and the kitchen offers a good selection of accessories. We will be happy to come back.
